  • Rad upload Java applet and z-index

    I'm using Rad upload for drag and drop upload. It's working perfectly except I'm having a problem with the z-index. I'm also using jquery UI on the site and the overlay doesn't cover the applet. Any ideas on how to control the z-index. It would be nice if there where a setting like in flash where you control wmode. But I've tried z-index on the div that controls it and no result.

I was first thinking about the SharedPreferences, but then it's saved in the flash memory, which isn't that good for a password, I guess. I'm unsure, what's the best way. What would you recommend me?

    I'm using the windows search 4.0 service (wssql) to find some files, it works fine on my computer but on our server which has two drives C: and D: always returns 0 rows when searching D: Also i'm not sure if it's related but cd d: goes back to c: in the command prompt.

  • How can I download YouTube videos using .NET code?

    Does anybody know the VB or C# code to programmatically download a video from YouTube? I have gone through all related questions on this site and the only code I have found (which uses the WebClient Class webclient.DownloadFileAsync) returns the text source of the video, but not the Flash video (.flv) file that needs to be downloaded? Do you know any SDK or library which can help? I have also downloaded the GoogleAPI (YouTube DLL) but have not found a way of doing it.

    Okay, so I've figured out how to get my external ip using wget: wget -q -O - http://whatismyip.com/automation/n09230945.asp that outputs the ip to the command console. adding currentip.txt to the end will write it to a text file. But what I want to do is use netsh interface ip set address name="Local Area Connection 2" source=static addr=[WHAT DO I PUT HERE] Also, a way to make the command prompt not flash would be nice too :)

    i have built jQuery drop-down menu which is having problems floating over the UI header. Flash and everything else is fine, menu has no problem floating over anything except UI headers, i have tried messing with z-index in css files but it seems that jQuery script is over writing all of my css. the JS files are minified so i can not edit them. I can increase the duration to make it last longer, however this looks strange. Now, I've never really spent any time at all investigating these claims—I just brushed them off as clumsy or cumbersome or down-right claptrap—but I'm a proud Objective-C programmer who's perhaps a little worried as to whether there's any truth in all of this?
