  I would like to know what the first piece of text/html that is currently showing on screen, or more generally where in pixel location a particular tag or piece of text is in the UIWebview. I know that I can use window.pageYOffset to get the scroll position of the UIwebview, but how do I find out what text or HTML item is there?

  I have some ISOs that need to be available across a WAN, so we are using an http server to host them (allows for non-authenticated, read-only access (beyond being on the VPN) to the data store). The server the ISOs reside on is running CentOS 4, and Apache 2.0.58. Is there a way around the 2GB filesize limit with Apache 2.0 without using the split utility to chunk the ISOs down to a less-than-2GB size?

  I am writing this program to take a root music note and populate tables with various scales from that root note. So, many of the tables cells will have the exact same value in them. I realize I can call my "useScale" function for every single that I need to write text to but since there will be repeats, it seemed like there should be a way to run my function once and apply the results to multiple but it did not work to use the document.getElementsByClassName("").innerHTML, I had been using "ById" which worked fine but each ID must be unique so, I can't write to multiple elements.   If you have large files in a content source that is being indexed by Sharepoint you might run into the following error message: “The file reached the maximum download limit. Check that the full text of the document can be meaningfully crawled.” This is usually caused because SharePoint’s MaxDownloadSize setting is set lower than the size of the file you are attempting to index. You can increase this value, restart the service then kick off a full crawl in order to fix this issue, but SharePoint 2007 and 2010 have different methods for accomplishing this task.   Sharepoint 2007 Open up the Registry editor and increase the MaxDownloadSize value to a number (in MB) higher than the largest file being indexed. You can find this at: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Search\1.0\Gathering Manager After you increase the size, cycle the search service and kick off a full crawl of the content source in question.   Sharepoint 2010 With SharePoint 2010 you can use PowerShell via the Sharepoint 2010 Console in order to change the MaxDownloadSize. I remember reading it at the time without being able to think of a use for what he was demonstrating. Just a few weeks ago, whilst preparing my article on searching strings, I got out my trusty function for splitting strings into words and something reminded me of the old blog. I’d been trying to think of a way of using XML to split strings reliably into words. The routine I devised turned out to be slightly slower than the iterative word chop I’ve always used in the past, so I didn’t publish it. It was then I suddenly remembered the old routine. Here is my version of it. I’ve unwrapped it from its obvious home in a function or procedure just so it is easy to appreciate. What it does is to chop a text string into individual words using XQuery and the good old nodes() method. I’ve benchmarked it and it is quicker than any of the SQL ways of doing it that I know about. Obviously, you can’t use the trick I described here to do it, because it is awkward to use REPLACE() on 1…n characters of whitespace. I’ll carry on using my iterative function since it is able to tell me the location of each word as a character-offset from the start, and also because this method leaves punctuation in (removing it takes time!). • nokia cell phone not accepting IP from dnsmasq dhcp server

  Hello, I having problem connecting a NOkia cell phone to my home wifi network. The wifi network is provided by a wireless card in a machine running Debian Testing and 2.6.26-2-686 kernel. The cars is D-Link DWL-G520 working in ap mode and has WPA encryption enabled. The wireless network is provided by hostapd using madwifi driver. Windows and Mac machines work properly with this wifi network. If I switch off dnsmasq dhcp queries logging, i.e. if I decrease the verbosity of the log, all I see are two lines of DHCPDISCOVER(ath0) and DHCPOFFER(ath0) repeatedly in the log with no acceptance by the cell phone. It appears as though the phone is not accepting the dhcp offer. However, if I give the phone a static IP address in its configuration, it works properly on the wifi network. So it appears as though the problem is dhcp related. Hints? Suggestions?   Hello, I've written a template function to determine the median of any vector or array of any type that can be sorted with sort. Also in the argument list is a reference variable X ret, which is modified by the function to store the computed median value. However I don't find this a very elegant solution. T vec will always be a pointer to the same type as X ret. My initial attempts to write median had a header like this: template<class T> T median(T *vec, size_t size) { sort(vec, vec + size); size_t mid = size/2; return size % 2 == 0 ? (vec[mid] + vec[mid-1]) / 2 : vec[mid]; } I also tried: template<class T, class X> X median(T vec, size_t size) { sort(vec, vec + size); size_t mid = size/2; return size % 2 == 0 ?   Im really in the need for some help and advice. Spent the last week on this and have now just become frustrated as i cant get it to work! Basically, im trying to merge two images into one image to display/save. First the user picks an image from album, it goes to edit image screen where user can move and scale the image. On this screen is an overlay image (320x480) for the person to align there eyes in. Once aligned I want to save this image (edited and overlay) into one and pass the image onto my next screen. It works fine when the image is filling the edit/crop box, but when the image is widescreen with top and bottom not filling the box, then when i save the image the coords of the overlay dont get saved correctly! In this article I well use that updated plugin and show you how to use it in asp.net..you will definitely like it. So,What do I need? 1- jQuery library : you can use 1.3.2 or 1.4.2 which is the latest version so far,in my article I will use the latest version. 2- jQuery UI library (1.8): As I mentioned earlier,daterangepicker plugin is based on the original jQuery UI DatePicker so that library should be included into your page. 3- jQuery DateRangePicker plugin : you can go to the author page or use the modified one (it's included in the attachment),in this article I will use the modified one. 4- Visual Studio 2005 or later : very funny :D,in my article I will use VS 2008. I got chatting to Susan, a business analyst and Bronagh, a tech writer. It becomes clear during our chat that the male/female divide is not an issue – “everyone here just gets on with the job,” says Suzanne, “We’re all around the same age and have similar priorities and luckily everyone is really friendly so there are no problems. ” A graduate of Queen’s University in Belfast majoring in maths & computer science, Susan works closely with product management and the development teams to ensure that the final project delivered to clients meets and exceeds their expectations. • Batch file reads in text file and replaces quotes with variables into new file?

  I have customer Pizza lists that i have saved into 5 seperate txt files from my database in this format: Filename = 25Percent.TXT "555-1211" "555-1212" "555-1223" ... ect Each list is a phone number in quotes and each list varies in length. Part 1: I have two sets of variables that i would like to replace with each quote in the 5 text files. The two variables would be like: Var A = < Discount Pizza price for phone number is " Var B = " 25 % So i would like to run a batch file that reads each line in the text file and writes into another text file the following, replacing the quotes with the variables: New Filename = 25Percentfinished.TXT < Discount Pizza price for phone number is "555-1211" 25 % < Discount Pizza price for phone number is "555-1212" 25 % < Discount Pizza price for phone number is "555-1223" 25 % Then I would repeat for 30percent.txt, then 35percent.txt, 40percent.txt, and then finally 50percent.txt file. Part II: I would also like to append the 5 new files together, with the append command? I am assuming that the SET Var command would also be used? Not sure what to do here.
