  • NDjango throws TypeLoadException

    Hi All, I'm just trying to get started with NDjango but am having issues running a basic test app. When running the page in either debug or release the following exception is thrown: Could not load type 'Microsoft.FSharp.Core.CompilerMessageAttribute' from assembly 'FSharp.Core, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'. This is thrown when the NDjangoHandle is created in the HttpApplication ctor. The fsharp assemblies are definitely all there in the gac (and they seem to be distributed with NDjango too) so I'm a bit confused about this one. Googling this turns up zip. I'm using NDjango 0.9.7.0 for .NET 4.0 in vis studio 2010 Cheers

  • I am geting message when i am loading VS

    when loading up a solution in VS2008 I get: An error was encountered while opening associated documents the last time this solution was loaded. Document load is being skipped during this solution load in order to avoid that error. First time when i open it shout down immediatlym then next time when I open it popups this message box it is not shouting down, once I click any usercotrols or ASPX page it is shutting off again.. How can I find which document is causing the problem? Thanks...

  • Too many parameters in MVC2 Controllers or IIS problem?

    I'm using a controller to call a stored procedure that requires 12 parameters. This works perfectly in debug mode locally (working against a remote database), but not when I publish it to my IIS 7 server. It complains about parameter #7, claiming it's not supplied with the URL. The URL call looks like this; http://localhost:50160/GetPlaces?minLat=-90&maxLat=90&minLng=-180&maxLng=180&minDate=0&maxDate=60000000&a=1&b=1&c=1&e=1&f=1&h=1 Does anyone have any idea what may be the cause of this? Any help would be very appreciated here.

Essentially, I have an incoming URL which looks like this: /StandardSystems/Dell/LatitudeE6500 I'd like that to be mapped to the StandardsystemsController, and I'd like that controller to be passed parameters "make" => "Dell" and "model" => "LatitudeE6500".   • JsonResult shows up a file download in browser

    I'm trying to use jquery.Ajax to post data to an ASP.NET MVC2 action method that returns a JsonResult. Everything works great except when the response gets back to the browser it is treated as a file download instead of being passed into the success handler.     Hi, Is there a way of getting the Action, and reading any attributes, during the model binding phase? The scenario is this: I've got a default model binder set-up for a certain data-type, but depending on how it's being used (which is controlled via an attribute on the action) I need to ignore a set of data. I can use the RouteData on the controller context and see the action name, which I can use to go get the data, but wondered if that information is already available. Additionally, if the action in question is an asynchronous one, they'd be more processing involved in looking it up...

    I've got 2 classes of objects... Magician has_many Rabbits and Rabbit belongs_to Magician. When viewing a Magician (show.html) I'd like to list all the associated Rabbits and then have some blank fields with a submit button to add a new Rabbit. To do so I build a new rabbit (associated to the current magician) in the Magician's show method (below). Edit2: found way to make it work but not sure if it's the "Rails way"? see comments inline (below): If I build the rabbit in Magician's show method then when show is rendered an empty (and invalid) rabbit ends the list before the new rabbit form fields are then shown. If I build it in the view itself then everything works & renders correctly.     Hi, I'm passing from the controller an array generated by the next code: public ActionResult GetClasses(bool ajax, string kingdom) { int _kingdom = _taxon.getKingdom(kingdom); var query = (from c in vwAnimalsTaxon.All() orderby c.ClaName select new { taxRecID = c.ClaRecID, taxName = c.ClaName }).Distinct(); return Json(query, JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet); } The query List should be ordered, but it doesn't work, I get the names of the classes ordered wrong in the array, because I've seen it debugging that the names are not ordered.The view is just a dropdownbox loaded automatically, so I'm almost sure the problem is with the action. Do you see anything wrong?Am I missing something?

    I'm using a jQuery plugin called InfiniteScroll (https://github.com/paulirish/infinite-scroll) and I have a URL with this pattern: '/category/2/', when I paged the result I use the following pattern: "/category/2?page=2". When Infinite Scroll makes de request, he increments the wrong number, in the case above, the request is: "/category/3?page=2" in place of "/category/2?page=3". Anyone knows how workaround this?

  • Strategy in exporting to Excel with formatting from ASP.NET?

    So this is another exporting to Excel question. I have a page that has a table with formatting by stylesheet. When I export the page by setting the ContentType to application/excel and Content-Disposition to attachment, I can export the table to Excel (not CSV). However, it loses all formatting. I think it's because Excel does not load CSS and I guess that's reasonable. So, in a scenario where I have to show the table on the web and also export to Excel, both with similar (even if not exact) formatting, what would be the best approach without using something like NPOI? I am trying to minimize the work and keep the single template if possible. Is it necessary for me to create two separate templates: one with stylesheet, the other with embedded style in the table itself for Excel? Having a single template with conditional formatting inside would be very messy. Any ideas?
