  • wpf window ghosting problem when resizing over two screens

    The title pretty much describes it. If I resize my WPF app so that it stretches over two monitors in a dual monitor setup, and resize it back, there will be a ghost window in the second monitor that does nothing, but is still moved when I move the original window in the first screen. Has anyone had issues like this? I think its a refresh bug on some OSs (I use WINXP 32 bit), but would like to confirm with the community.

    This is a strange one. I have a Dev SQL Server which has the stored proc on it, and the same stored proc when used with the same code on the UAT DB causes it to delete itself!     I'm writing a script that is supposed to run around a bunch of servers and select a bunch of data out of them, including the local server. The SQL needed to SELECT the data I need is pretty complicated, so I'm writing sort of an ad-hoc view, and using an OPENQUERY statement to get the data, so ultimately I end up looping over a statement like this: exec('INSERT INTO tabl SELECT * FROM OPENQUERY(@Server, @AdHocView)') However, I've heard that using OPENQUERY on the local server is frowned upon. Could someone elaborate as to why?

    Hi, I'm keep getting oauth_problem=consumer_key_unknown error when trying oauth https://api.login.yahoo.com/oauth/v2/get_request_token I'm pretty sure my consumer key is correct because it works locally (Runs via 127.0.0.1). Just keep giving me oauth_problem=consumer_key_unknown when I try it on my server. Any ideas?
