  • Do WordPress widget (or sidebar) hooks exist?

    I'm trying to filter ALL widget output through a simple filter, but can't find any hooks and was hoping to be pointed in the right direction. Or possibly my efforts are not even possible? My simple filter is something like this: function clean_widget_output( $input ) { return str_replace( array( "\t", "\n", "\r" ), '', $input ); } add_[FILTER OR ACTION]( 'need_a_hook', 'clean_widget_output', 99 ); Any ideas?     I am trying to write a function to post form data and save returned cookie info in a file so that the next time the page is visited, the cookie information is sent to the server (i.e. normal browser behavior).     Hello, I need to print last 20 characters of string, but only whole words. Delimiter is a space "". Let's consider this example: string="The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" echo $string | tail -c20 returns s over the lazy dog. And I need it to return over the lazy dog instead. Do you know how to accomplish that? Thanks!

Why should I use Solr PHP client when I can use: $serializedResult = file_get_contents( 'http://localhost:8983/solr/select?q=niklas&wt=phps'); to get the result in arrays and then print them out? I don't really get the difference. Are there any richer features with the PHP client?

    Hello, I am trying to make a program in Java that checks for three specific inputs. It has to be 1. At least 7 characters. 2. Contain both upper and lower case alphabetic characters. 3. Contain at least 1 digit. So far I have been able to make it check if there is 7 characters, but I am having trouble with the last two. What should I put in my loop as an if statement to check for digits and make it upper and lower case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.     Everywhere there are pretty pictures of failing tests shown inline in the code editor, like in Peepcodes Objective-C for Rubyist screencast and in apples own technical documentation: When I build my test-target, all I get is a little red icon down in the right corner, stating something went wrong. When clicking on it, I get the Build Results, where I can start to hunt for test results. Do anyone have a clue on what´s wrong?

    We run MS Access as the front end for most of our business. When we upgraded from Access 2000 to Access 2003 the image control we used to print out Tif images failed to load Tifs anymore. A bit of Googling showed that MS did this intentionally and I'm wondering if the problem still happens in Access 2010. Can someone with a downloaded copy drop an image control on an Access 2010 form or report and try to get it to display a Tif file?
