  • Google Analytics says I'm Getting 50 percent bounce rate on my website ! Help!

    Hi guys, I recently launched my web application and set up google analytics to monitor it. For some weird reason google analytics shows a 49.7 percent bounce rate - I'm quite suprised as to why and how is this possible. My web application works well - I've never been bounced off even once whenever I visit it from any browser. What's going on I have no idea what to look out for here?

In short, the question is: "How do I seperate each gallery from each other so when the user clicks on the thumbnails of one specific gallery the large image preview of that gallery changes and not any other?"

  • Drupal-- How to place an image in Panels 3 panels and mini-panels, w/o views or nodes?

    Is it possible, through any modular functionality, to insert an image into a (mini-)panel, either through token replacement, or through an upload dialog, or through a file selection menu? Do I have to use views? Do I have to create nodes? Would the best way be to make a panel node, and then embed it in a mini-node, if I want a block-like panel that can be placed on multiple pages? I want to build a site with images in a particular layout as a small block, and make it very easy for my client to change those images in the future. I can think of some other ways to make this work, but it's driving me crazy that there seems to be no way to simply PUT an image in a mini-panel without having to upload it and hard-code an image tag. And since my client knows no HTML, coding it this way makes it un-helpful for him. And this mini-panel block is going to be used on a number of pages, and needs to be easily modified. I have been googling for about 45 minutes, and come up with nothing useful. EDIT: OR EVEN just put ONLY one image from an image field w/ multiple values in a panel region on a panel node?

    I'm loading profile pictures from Facebook, cache them on disk and load them into cells of a UITableView. Now I'm wondering, how I can find out when someone has changed his/her profile picture on Facebook that I have to load the new image from the web instead of using the one cached disk. The url of the image is always the same. Is there a lightweight way of doing this without downloading the image and comparing it to the local file?

  • Why are Facebook Likes Insisting on using Wrong Product Image...?

    Firstly, I'm not a web developer so please be patient. I have read the other posts but I think i have everything covered. My website http://www.joaniesgifts.co.uk includes the like button on the product pages. However, I've found that certain product pages are using the incorrect image when a user likes the page. For example - http://www.joaniesgifts.co.uk/terramundi-money-pots/terramundi-money-pot-holiday-fund I think this may have been down to an original incorrect setup which is now corrected. However, the problem remains... The only thing I have to go on :- if i use the facebook url linter (developers.facebook.com/tools/debug) on the above product page, I receive the following error :- Object at URL 'http://www.joaniesgifts.co.uk/terramundi-money-pot-holiday-fund' of type '213689662010141:product' is invalid because the domain 'www.joaniesgifts.co.uk' is not allowed for the application id '213689662010141' which owns the specified object type. If you are the owner of this application, you can verify your configured 'Site Domain' at developers.facebook.com/apps/213689662010141. (I have verified my site's domain) Everything else appears fine except it is also showing the wrong image!! However, under Raw Open Graph Document Information it has the correct link! If I then click graph api - graph.facebook.com/10150450766583352 it again shows the wrong image was linked! I've no idea what else to do - can you help me?   • Where can I request a new enhancement for Google Chrome?

    I have a request for enhancement for Google Chrome, but don't know where to place it. I checked http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/list but it seems to be only for bugs. I use the spelling check quite often, but I need to swap between english and spanish all the time according to the website. Since chrome can detect the webpage language, it would be great to have the spell check set to that language by default.

  • Can we solve the table row background image problem, in chrome, in multi celled tables??

    It is frequently asked – but I haven’t seen a good answer yet (and I looked). If you set a background image in CSS to a table row- the image will repeat itself in every cell. If you set the position: relative (for the row) and set the background-image: none (for the cells) it solves the problem on IE but not on chrome! I can't use background positioning since there are many calls and their size varies. (And the picture is not symmetrical- It's a fade out from one side. Anybody?? Example for the css code : tr { height: 30px; position:relative;} tr.green {background: url('green_30.png') no-repeat left top;} tr.orange {background: url('oranger_30.png') no-repeat left top;} tr.red {background: url('red_30.png') no-repeat left top;} td {background-image:none;} The HTML is basic - A multi cell table. The goal is to have different colors fade into every row, but it could be any non-pattern image.

    I've got Chrome running on my Linux netbook, it's great and, unlike the Mac version, the 'Create Application Shortcut' option isn't greyed out. So I created one for Gmail. The 'applications' get stored at ~/.local/share/applications but I haven't managed to launch it yet. If I use Chrome in terminal $ google-chrome ~/.local/share/applications/google-application-reallylong-randomname.thing It opens the file in a new tab in Chrome and helpfully downloads it for me! Anyone got application shortcuts working in Linux?

    In the MODx WYSIWYG whenever I click the Image icon to insert an image, followed by browse image it generates the wrong path: /data/12/1/111/99/1111262/user/1169144/htdocs/images/image.jpg instead of assets/images/image.jpg I have checked my Resource URL and Resource Path and they both look correct. Has anyone ever experienced MODx rewriting your paths to the server vs what it should be?
