  Hi im trying to detect a marker in a webcam video feed and overlay it with a 3d object - pretty much exactly like this: http://www.morethantechnical.com/2009/06/28/augmented-reality-with-nyartoolkit-opencv-opengl/ i know artoolkit is the best module for this, but i was hoping to just use opencv in python since i dont know nearly enough c/c++ to be able to use artoolkit. im hoping someone will be able to get me on the right track towards detecting the marker and determining its location and orientation etc since i have no idea how best to go about this or what functions i should be using thanks mitch

  Hi everyone, Im trying to plot the roots of a polynomial, and i just cant get it. First i create my polynomial p5 = [1 0 0 0 0 -1] %x^5 - 1 r5 = roots(p5) stem (p5) Im using the stem function, but I would like to remove the stems, and just get the circle around the roots. I have users user1, usr2, useeeer3, user4 and I will enter to search window "use" and I expect to return user1, useeer3, user4. Im sure you know what I mean now.   I am new to java and I have been testing my application all day long. I just did netstat -ano and it gave me a huge listing of active connections (listening, established) does this mean when i close my appliation these connections are not being shutdown (close())? here is a screenshot: any advise on how to go about closing the connection when im done with it? i am trying to close the connection best to my knowledge but it appears im not doing enough. thanks for your time.

Does anyone know if its possbile, with minimal adaption, to make a firefox extension compatible with ie8 as a plugin and if so, are there any caveats i should be aware of? I have site.com/services url, and I want to have subpages under that category, thats it: site.com/services/arquitecture, site.com/services/plumbing, etc. The pages that im serving under that category are "static" .rhtml files and I would want them to be on the same controller.   Hey Im using this in my wordpress functions.php add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails' ); set_post_thumbnail_size( 150, 150 ); Im then using it like this <a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>"><?php the_post_thumbnail(); ?></a> However, the image is displayed <img width="150" height="109" ... The images themselves are 300px x 300px, anyone know whats going on here?
