    Hi. my macbook pro is on the fritz! I bought a new imac because i couldn't afford the new laptop. Is it possible for me to take a disc image of a macbook pro and have it all work on a new imac with a newer OS. It also need to have a state where none of the buttons are selected / pressed down. The behavior will be kind of like Photoshop toolbar, where zero or one of the tools are selected at any time!     I'm using a Mac. When I try creating a png with specific rgb values (i.e. 128,0,0), this is fine (I've tried using both GIMP and photoshop). Now when I open the png file, the color looks slightly different. And when I use the DigitalColor Meter, the rgb values don't match anymore (the 128,0,0 file became 106,7,0). What's going on? Thanks

    Hello, I need to display a text in 3D using vml/canvas/svg and do some transformation to the shape of the text like the effect of Ctrl+T in photoshop, even align a line of text to a curve, is there a way to convert text to shape first? The only thing close is getImageData() in firefox which is not ideal but OK. Any better methods? Using browser-specific hacks or voodoo is OK, but no Flash please :)

    hi, i have to work on skin in flex, but this time , i have to use vector images from adobe illustrator, this is very easy in case of adobe photoshop, as we have .png files, just import them in flash and make them a movie clip, and u r done with the skinnning but i m facing problem when i m copying images from adobe illustrator in to the flash, actually i have a hslider and i have to put vector skin, but when images copied on adobe flash, they lost their corners, so skinning is not perfect, i hope u got it, plzz tell me the solution of making vector skinning thanx in advance
