  • sessions get destroyed after return from sage gateway

    - by hussain
I have developed a module using SagePay Form integration method. It works fine until it returns from the Sagepay site and all of my local user session vars are destroyed for some reason. Thus i am unable to use my own created session vars and save information about a user regarding that specific order. The url's it returns to are success and failure urls. What might be the possible reason? Please any help is appreciated. Regards.

  • Detecting syllables in a word

    - by user50705
I need to find a fairly efficient way to detect syllables in a word. E.g., invisible - in-vi-sib-le There are some syllabification rules that could be used: V CV VC CVC CCV CCCV CVCC *where V is a vowel and C is a consonant. e.g., pronunciation (5 Pro-nun-ci-a-tion; CV-CVC-CV-V-CVC) I've tried few methods, among which were using regex (which helps only if you want to count syllables) or hard coded rule definition (a brute force approach which proves to be very inefficient) and finally using a finite state automata (which did not result with anything useful). The purpose of my application is to create a dictionary of all syllables in a given language. This dictionary will later be used for spell checking applications (using Bayesian classifiers) and text to speech synthesis. I would appreciate if one could give me tips on an alternate way to solve this problem besides my previous approaches. I work in Java, but any tip in C/C++, C#, Python, Perl... would work for me.

  • Does pdksh (public domain korn shell) support associative arrays?

    - by George Jempty
I recently ran up against a wall doing some bash shell programming where an associative array would have solved my problems. I googled about features of the Korn shell and learned that it supports associative arrays, so I installed Cygwin's pdksh (public domain korn shell). However, when trying to create an associative array in the prescribed manner (typeset -A varName), I received the following errors, so I'm beginning to suspect pdksh does not support associative arrays. ./find_actions.ksh: line 2: typeset: -A: invalid option typeset: usage: typeset [-afFirtx] [-p] name[=value] ... Guess I'll be considering Perl instead, but I really wanted a good excuse to learn a dialect/language new to me

  • Get CGI Fields from URL Python

    - by user299196
When using the cgi module in Python, I can't seem to figure out how to extract CGI variables in the URL. For example if the url servercgi.py?name=user , how do I get 'name' after import cgi? For some reason, form.getvalue and form['user'] do not work but if I print the object, I see something like FieldStorage(None, None, [MiniFieldStoreage('name', 'user')]).

  • Changing IIS URL Rewrite config location

    - by adam
Hi When used at site level, the IIS7 URL Rewrite 2 module saves its configuration in the web.config file of that site. I'm using Sitecore CMS, and best practice is to store any web.config customisations in a separate config file for ease of upgrading, staging/production setups etc. Is there any way to specify a different config file for IIS7 redirects? I know that application-level rewrites are stored in ApplicationHost.config, but I have several sites running on the server and would like to keep them separated. Thanks, Adam

  • Guidelines for calling controller methods in helper modules?

    - by keruilin
Few questions: Is it possible to call a controller method in a helper module (e.g., application helper)? If so, how does the helper handle the rendering of views? Ignore it? In what instances would you want to call a controller method from a helper? Is it bad practice? Do you have any sample code where you're calling controller methods in helper?

  • Setuptools not passing arguments for entry_points

    - by Austin
    I'm using setuptools for a Python script I wrote After installing, I do: $ megazord -i input -d database -v xx-xx -w yy-yy Like I would if I was running it ./like_this However, I get: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/local/bin/megazord", line 9, in <module> load_entry_point('megazord==1.0.0', 'console_scripts', 'megazord')() TypeError: main() takes exactly 1 argument (0 given) Which looks like setuptools is not sending my arguments to main() to be parsed (by optparse) Here's my setuptools config for entry_points: entry_points = { 'console_scripts': [ 'megazord = megazord.megazord:main', 'megazord-benchmark = megazord.benchmark:main', 'megazord-hash = megazord.mzhash:main', 'megazord-mutate = megazord.mutator:main', ] } Any ideas?

  • Rails - why would a model inside RAILS_ROOT/lib not be available in production mode?

    - by sa125
Hi - I have a class located inside RAILS_ROOT/lib folder, which I use in one of my helpers, and it works great in development. When I switch to production, the application throws a NameError (uninitialized constant SomeHelper::SomeClass), and I have to load it manually in the helper: load "#{Rails.root}/lib/some_class.rb" module SomeHelper def some_method sc = SomeClass.new # blah end end I was under the impression that everything inside RAILS_ROOT/lib/* should be available all to the app - is there anything I need to configure to make this happen in prod mode? thanks.

  • Processor affinity settings for Linux kernel modules?

    - by Stephen Pape
In Windows, I can set the processor affinity of driver code using KeSetSystemAffinityThread, and check which processor my code is running on using KeGetCurrentProcessorNumber. I'm trying to do something similar in a Linux kernel module, but the only affinity calls I can see are for userland processes. Is there any way to do this, so that I can run assembly code on a specific processor? (i.e. sgdt)

  • Odd nested dictionary behavior in python

    - by adept
Im new two python and am trying to grow a dictionary of dictionaries. I have done this in php and perl but python is behaving very differently. Im sure it makes sense to those more familiar with python. Here is my code: colnames = ['name','dob','id']; tablehashcopy = {}; tablehashcopy = dict.fromkeys(colnames,{}); tablehashcopy['name']['hi'] = 0; print(tablehashcopy); Output: {'dob': {'hi': 0}, 'name': {'hi': 0}, 'id': {'hi': 0}} The problem arises from the 2nd to last statement(i put the print in for convenience). I expected to find that one element has been added to the 'name' dictionary with the key 'hi' and the value 0. But this key, value pair has been added to EVERY sub-dictionary. Why? I have tested this on my ubuntu machine in both python 2.6 and python 3.1 the behaviour is the same.

I need to use IBM Informix for my project where I have point coordinates and I need to find which points are present in query rectangular region. Informix has spatial datablade module with ST_POINT and ST_POLYGON data objects. I know how to create, insert and create r-tree index on tables with such objects. But problem is how to do a SELECT statement, something which list all the points in a particular rectangular region.

  • Debugging an httpmodule on the asp.net development server

    - by Caveatrob
Hi, I want to integrate some http modules in my asp.net application (v 3.5, visual studio 2008) and I'm not sure how to debug or use such modules while debugging in the asp.net development server that fires when I run the web app. Do I need to include the module source in the solution or can I just drop the DLL into BIN? I'm from the 1.1 world and am not yet used to the asp.net development server.

  • Quote POSIX shell special characters in Python output

    - by ??O?????
There are times that I automagically create small shell scripts from Python, and I want to make sure that the filename arguments do not contain non-escaped special characters. I've rolled my own solution, that I will provide as an answer, but I am almost certain I've seen such a function lost somewhere in the standard library. By “lost” I mean I didn't find it in an obvious module like shlex, cmd or subprocess. Do you know of such a function in the stdlib?

  • Copy call signature to decorator

    - by Morgoth
If I do the following def mydecorator(f): def wrapper(*args, **kwargs): f(*args, **kwargs) wrapper.__doc__ = f.__doc__ wrapper.__name__ = f.__name__ return wrapper @mydecorator def myfunction(a,b,c): '''My docstring''' pass And then type help myfunction, I get: Help on function myfunction in module __main__: myfunction(*args, **kwargs) My docstring So the name and docstring are correctly copied over. Is there a way to also copy over the actual call signature, in this case (a, b, c)?

  • How to provide hyperlink in email pointing to a specific method inside gwt app (but not main page)

    - by subh
My GWT app has a search result with orderid column as hyperlink. On clicking, it opens up another tab which shows the details. I want to expose this particular functionality externally say in an email http://www.myapp.com/XYZApp.html?orderid=1234 so that user can directly go to the details page after login to the App. In JSP world, it was pretty straightforward. Is it possible in GWT given that the call to show up the details page is not in the main GWT module (XYZApp.html)

  • What is the C# equivalent of java.util.regex?

    - by peter.murray.rust
I am converting Java code to C# and need to replace the use of Java's regex. A typical use is import java.util.regex.Matcher; import java.util.regex.Pattern; //... String myString = "B12"; Pattern pattern = Pattern.compile("[A-Za-z](\\d+)"); Matcher matcher = Pattern.matcher(myString); String serial = (matcher.matches()) ? matcher.group(1) : null; which should extract a capture group from a matched target string. I'd be grateful for simple examples. EDIT: I have now added the C# equivalent of the code as an answer. EDIT: Here is a tutorial on the use of the actual expressions. EDIT: Here is a useful comparison of C# and Java (and Perl.)

  • How can I list the properties of an object programmatically in VB6?

    - by Gregory Higley
A friend of mine is working on a legacy VB6 project. I haven't touched that language in ten years, so I'm pretty rusty. Anyway, is there any kind of reflection API for VB6? Specifically, he needs a way to iterate the properties (and types) of a user-created Class. (In other words, not an external COM object, but an internal "Class Module" as it's called.) How can this be done?

  • Is the Angular templateCache shared between apps? Is it persistent?

    - by alexp
If I have two Angular apps that run on the same domain, will/can they share data in the templateCache? Or is the cache unique to each main application module? In general I'm trying to understand what dictates when a new templateCache is created. Furthermore I'm not clear on whether or in what way the templateCache is persistent? Looking in local storage and cookies, I don't see where anything is getting stored.

  • Firefox extension file structure best practice

    - by user353969
Is it a good practice to put js files of the "content" folders in inner folders representing their logical module? For example have a "datalayer" and "view" folders? I looked into some well known extensions, such as Firebug, and saw no such devision. I'm a Java developer so its seems much more natural to divide the files logically.

  • Python: How do I create a reference to a reference?

    - by KCArpe
Hi, I am traditionally a Perl and C++ programmer, so apologies in advance if I am misunderstanding something trivial about Python! I would like to create a reference to a reference. Huh? Ok. All objects in Python are actually references to the real object. So, how do I create a reference to this reference? Why do I need/want this? I am overriding sys.stdout and sys.stderr to create a logging library. I would like a (second-level) reference to sys.stdout. If I could create a reference to a reference, then I could create a generic logger class where the init function receives a reference to a file handle reference that will be overrided, e.g., sys.stdout or sys.stderr. Currently, I must hard-code both values. Cheers, Kevin
