• Issues loading Jquery (Galleria) script from inside an i-frame (beginner javascript?)

  Hello, first of all - I'm not entirely new to javascript, but am not fluent in it as I am with html and css, and am especially new to jQuery... so please excuse me if this questions seems easy or obvious, but after days of google I still have no solution to the problem... using jQuery 1.4.2.min, jQuery-ui-1.8.1 .... the site in question: http://homecapture.ca/sets/project_index.html The scenario: I have a tabbed menu generated from an unordered list, when a menu item is clicked it reveals an iframe which links to the page containing an image gallery. I am using jQuery UI tabs for the tabbed menu, and the galleries to which I'm linking are jQuery Galleria pages, automatically generated with Jalbum. The problem: The galleria plug-in only works normally from inside of the containing iframe in Chrome, has inconsistent behaviour in IE8 (seems to work in my local copy, but won't load properly online), and is not loaded properly in Firefox. Instead of displaying a thumbnail area and the first large image, the Galleria page shows the first thumbnail only, then when it is clicked the image it links to, but if you right-click and go Back, the iframe content shows up as a properly rendered Galleria page. Jalbum generates more script in the < head of the page in addition to linking to jquery and the galleria plug-in. All of it seems to be in charge of the gallery navigation , and I have relocated it to the < body of the page, in an effort to make it load after the parent page scripts, and together with the gallery content. At this point I am not sure what else I could do to solve the problem, without digging around in all or some of the library and pluging .js files (which I am not knowledgeable enough to do without some pointers). Has anyone dealt with a similar issue? I'm seeing some solutions for manipulating iframe content from a parent page with jQuery on here, is that what I should be researching instead?   I would like monit to monitor my service and once it's stopped then I want the computer to reboot. The process don't have a certain port that I can monitor. This is what I did: check process chat with pidfile /var/run/chat.pid start program = "/etc/init.d/chat start" stop program = "/etc/init.d/chat stop" if changed ppid then exec /sbin/reboot I tried all sort of things but it only restart my service. Any suggestion.

• PHP MVC Framework Structure

  I am sorry about the amount of code here. I have tried to show enough for understanding while avoiding confusion (I hope). I have included a second copy of the code at Pastebin. (The code does execute without error/notice/warning.) I am currently creating a Content Management System while trying to implement the idea of Model View Controller. I have only recently come across the concept of MVC (within the last week) and trying to implement this into my current project. One of the features of the CMS is dynamic/customisable menu areas and each feature will be represented by a controller. Therefore there will be multiple versions of the Controller Class, each with specific extended functionality. I have looked at a number of tutorials and read some open source solutions to the MVC Framework. I am now trying to create a lightweight solution for my specific requirements. I am not interested in backwards compatibility, I am using PHP 5.3. An advantage of the Base class is not having to use global and can directly access any loaded class using $this->Obj['ClassName']->property/function();. Hoping to get some feedback using the basic structure outlined (with performance in mind). Specifically; a) Have I understood/implemented the concept of MVC correctly? b) Have I understood/implemented Object Orientated techniques with PHP 5 correctly? c) Should the class propertise of Base be static? d) Improvements? • Corosync :: Restarting some resources after Lan connectivity issue

  I am currently looking into corosync to build a two-node cluster. So, I've got it working fine, and it does what I want to do, which is: Lost connectivity between the two nodes gives the first node '10node' both Failover Wan IPs. (aka resources WanCluster100 and WanCluster101 ) '11node' does nothing. He "thinks" he still has his Failover Wan IP. (aka WanCluster101) But it doesn't do this: '11node' should restart the WanCluster101 resource when the connectivity with the other node is back. This is to prevent a condition where node10 simply dies (and thus does not get 11node's Failover Wan IP), resulting in a situation where none of the nodes have 10node's failover IP because 10node is down 11node has "given back" his failover Wan IP. • Cannot do a ncurses overwrite(curscr, savewin) correctly because I ripoffline() before

  I have a C/ncurses program that I'm debugging/maintaining. This program does ripoffline twice: first, to put a title bar and the second time to put a menu bar on the top of the page. I need to dropdown some menus so I save the screen before I drop down the menus. In the InitMenu function, I have the following code: savewin = newwin (0, 0, 0, 0); overwrite (curscr, savewin); wrefresh(savewin) The problem is that savewin is being copied WITH the menu and the ripped off lines, but it gets drawn on the screen BELOW the rippedoff lines. This duplicates the ripped off lines on the screen. Only realizing where the problem was took me a while. Now, I have no idea how to fix it. Ideally, I would like to copy curscr to savewin without the ripped off lines. Any ideas?

• Why is Windows Task Scheduler trying to launch multiple instances?

  We have a number of Windows Scheduled tasks that run on one Server 2008 Webserver (not R2) which is in a cluster. We recently moved from an original webserver Cluster to a new webserver Cluser (Server 2008 - not R2). The new webserver (in the cluster) running the Windows Tasks is setup the same as on the original we believe. BUT we now find that on the new Windows Server the Windows Task Scheduler seems to want to instantly start each task three times. If we set the option to queue up a new task we get: Event ID 324 Task Scheduler queued instance "{9a1a8411-b042-45ff-8e6b-89874df230d7}" of task "\Client Reporting" and will launch it as soon as instance "{2bcc3df6-ea3b-4453-90c2-75b8b1946388}" completes. If we set the option to stop an existing task we get: Event ID 323 Task Scheduler stopped instance "{e685a910-b32b-414e-85fd-96bbe54314a2}" of task "\Client Reporting" in order to launch new instance "{4db66265-1f51-4ede-8535-ac7c3cb5c4c1}" . Ticked settings: Allow task to be run on demand. Run task as soon as possible after a scheduled start is missed. Stop the task if running for longer than 1 hour. If the running task does not end when requested force it to stop. Start the task only if the computer is on AC power. Stop the task if the computer switches to battery power. Selected option: If the task is already running - stop the existing instance. Note: We moved the tasks from one server to another in the cluster to see if it the Task Scheduler on the particular server we'd picked causing the problem. Same behaviour. Could it be something to do with the build of the new servers? We have very similar tasks set up on another server cluster that work OK without all this multiple starting. Comparing those tasks to the ones here - there does not seem to be anything obviously different in terms of settings available to us through the options within the Task Scheduler. Trigger: The task is scheduled to be triggered daily, once an hour - and to be stopped if it exceeds this time. Action: Runs a .bat file. What could be causing this/where we can look to see what logic is causing the tasks to start multiple times in this way?

  Looking to create a menu toggle that switches between two possible arrays for a spinner. For example, if the spinner is set to show array A, then when I press this menu button, I want the spinner to be set to array B. If I press it again, I want it to be set back to array A. I can handle the if/then statements and all, but how do I call the spinner's array adapter? I know how to call its value using getSelectedItemPosition(); but is there a similar method for retrieving WHICH array it is currently set to?

When I remove the subview the memory from that controller is not released. How can I release that subviews memory instantly? Does anyone have an example? This would solve all my problems! • How do I copy input from one textbox to another via checkbox using jQuery?

  I'm cleaning up a simple form that has a Start Date textbox and an End Date textbox. I want to add a checkbox in between these fields that the user can check if the End Date is the same as the Start Date, so when they check it, the Start Date input value (e.g., 04/01/09) will automagically appear in the End Date textbox, so they don't have to type in the same date twice. Does that make sense? BTW, I'm using the sexy jquery datepicker UI, and it's sweet, but I just can't figure out the above problem. I know there's a simple solution (event handler?) but I'm stumped.

• Panel widget overlapping other contents in android

  We have: @Transactional(propagation = Propagation.REQUIRED) public class MyClass implementes MyInterface { ... MyInterface has a single method: go(). When go() executes we start a new transaction which commits/rollbacks when the method is complete - this is fine. Now let's say in go() we call a private method in MyClass that has @Transactional(propagation = Propagation.REQUIRES_NEW. It seems that Spring "ignores" the REQUIRES_NEW annotation and does not start a new transaction. I believe this is because Spring AOP operates on the interface level (MyInterface) and does not intercept any calls to MyClass methods. Is this correct? Is there any way to start a new transaction within the go() transaction? Is the only way to call another Spring managed bean that has transactions configured as REQUIRES_NEW?

After I have run the conversion wizard, I get this message: You have completed the first step in converting your Visual Studio .NET 2003 web project. To complete the conversion, please select your project in the Solution Explorer and choose the 'Convert to Web Application' context menu item. I got this message with another project, which was originally a "web site", rather than an ASP.NET "web application". It made sense to in that case (sort of). Why, however, would I not just want to have this project remain a web service project? Additionally, when I follow the instructions and select "Convert to Web Application" from the context menu, I don't get any feedback that anything has changed. Should it have? If so, what?

There are no kernel panic messages. Nothing. It is a new server (new hardware) we are testing before production. And because it is new hard, I'm suspicious the problem may be due to some faulty hardware. We already run memtester with no problem detected. I'll be happy to hear from other hardware testing tools (the machine has SSD). Anyway, the thing I wanted to ask you is a different one. The strange thing is on every open file at the moment of the crash we found the next sequence of symbols was written into them: "@^@^@^@^@^@^@...". For example, on the syslog log file we got: Apr 16 15:53:56 odyssey dovecot: pop3-login: Aborted login (auth failed, 1 attempts): user=<info>, method=PLAIN, rip=46.29.255.73, lip=5.9.58.177 ^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^ [these continues for about 1000 chars...] ^@^@^@^@Apr 16 15:55:12 odyssey kernel: imklog 5.8.6, log source = /proc/kmsg started. We got all these symbols in all open files. These include: syslog, mail.log, kern.log, ... But also on some logs that are output by php scripts run in CRONs from user accounts (not root). So, any idea why all open files got these characters written during the crash? This is pretty bad since the crash corrupted many files (we don't even know which other ones may be affected). We are suspicious that all open files (in write mode maybe) at the moment of the crash got all these symbols inserted. Why is that? BTW [in case it helps], the system automatically rebooted after the crash but Apache did not start. There were not traces in /var/apache2/*log why apache did not start. After running a "service apache2 start" it started with no problems. Also, we rebooted the machine manually and Apache also started on reboot. But it did not start after the crash and no errors were reported. Thanks guys!
