• VS2010: how to remove/hide the "External Dependencies" folder in Solution Explorer

  In VS2010 they added to all projects a virtual directory called "External Dependencies": It really bothers me especially because if there is a normal folder named "Apple" and one named "Deep" it will be in between the two, and, well, it just bothers me. Is there any way to remove or hide it? The information it gives is also totally useless:

• How do I allow an email discussion list in MOSS to collect messages from any email sender

  I have a Sharepoint discussion list that belongs to an Exchange list with the idea that it will be able to archive discussions on that list and make them generally accessible, searcheable and so on. The problem is that although I have checked the "Accept e-mail messages from any sender" option on the discussion board, it still appears to only be seeing emails from members of the domain, nothing sent to the list from outside gets picked up by the Sharepoint site. Any suggestions as to what else I have to do?

  We have a drop-down menu of volumes in our UI, and I'd like to update it when a new disk is mounted. In the Classic days, this would involve watching for a diskEvt event. In Carbon, I think this was kEventClassVolume. What's the Cocoa equivalent? (A pointer into Apple's documentation on this would satisfy the question. I've been unable to find anything!)
