  History: I created a key and pem file on Amazon. I created a private bucket I created a public distribution and used origin id to connect to the private bucket: works I created a private distribution and connected it the same as #3 - now I get access denied: expected I'm having a really hard time generating a url that will work. INSTANCE is declared as final. Why can objects be added to INSTANCE? Shouldn't that invalidate the use of final. (It doesn't). I'm assuming the answer has to do something with pointers and memory but would like to know for sure.

When I was calling these method from javaFX applet, all worked as expected. Now I'm trying to call them from JAX-RS webservice (I don't see any logical difference as in both cases ejb was looked up in initial context) and I keep getting this exception. When I set up XADatasource in glassfish 2.1 connection pools, I got nullpointer exception on em2. Any ideas what to try next? Regards

• JBoss Seam: components injected into POJOs, but not Session Beans

  I have a Seam component that handles login, with the name "authenticator": @Name("authenticator") public class AuthenticatorAction implements Authenticator { @PersistenceContext private EntityManager em; @In(required=false) @Out(required=false, scope = SESSION) private User user; public boolean authenticate(){ ... } } This works just fine, Seam injects the EntityManager instance. However, as soon as I add the @Stateless annotation, none of the injection happens! In this case, the EntityManager instance is null upon entry to the authenticate() method. Another interesting note is that with a separate stateful session bean I have, the Logger instance in that class is only injected if I make it static. If i have it non-static, it is not injected. Thats fine for the logger, but for stateless session beans like that, I obviously can't have static member variables for these components. I'm confused because this authenticator is exactly how it is in the Seam booking example: a stateless session bean with a private member variable being injected. Any ideas?

Why? The reason I want the setter to be called is that the list is actually just a temporary storage from which I want to build the map field, so I thought to do it in the setter. Thanks.

  So I have two models, Person and Film where they're in a many to many relationship. My goal is to grab a film, and output the persons that have also appeared in at least 10 films. For example I can get the count individually by: >>> Person.objects.get(short__istartswith = "Matt Damon").film_set.count() 71 However, if I try to filter all the actors of a particular film out: >>> Film.objects.get(name__istartswith="Saving Private Ryan").actors.all().annotate(film_count=Count('film')).filter(film_count__gte=10) [] it returns an empty set since if I manually look at everyone's film_count it's 1, even though an actor such as Matt Damon (as seen above) has been in 71 films in my db. They both seem to produce the same result, a row gets added and the quantity is returned, but which is the most efficient?   I'm running ubuntu 10.04. I have a newly purchased TATA Photon+ Internet connection which supports Windows and Mac. On the Internet I found a article saying that it could be configured on Linux. I followed the steps to install it on Ubuntu from this link. I am still not able to get online, and need some help. Also, it is very slow, but I was told that I would see speeds up to 3.1MB. I dont have wvdial installed and cannot install it from apt as I'm not connected to internet Booting from windows I dowloaded "wvdial" .deb package and tried to install on ubuntu but it's ended with dependency problem. Automatically, don't know how, I got connected to internet only for once. Immediately I installed wvdial package after this I followed the tutorials(I could not browse and upload the files here) . From then it's showing that the device is connected in the network connections but no internet connection. Once I disable the device, it won't show as connected again and I'll have to restart my system. • Listview selects mutliple items when clicked

  I'm trying to make a task manager, and I only have one problem. I have a listview that gets inflated. All the elements in the listview are correct. The problem is that when I select an item, the listview will select another item away. I've heard listviews repopulate the list as it scrolls down to save memory. I think this may be some sort of problem. Here is a picture of the problem. If i had more apps loaded, then it would continue to select multiple at once. • How do I store keys pressed

  I would like to store keys pressed when I listen out for the keyDown on the stage. I can add the listener fine, but I'm not getting the character I want out of the event to store it into a string. • Is there a more efficient way to set variables on a RadioButton's CheckChanged event?

  I have 16 radio buttons in an application of mine.. I have to set a variable based on which one was selected.. and I've produced some very ugly code doing this.. private void Foo_CheckedChanged(object sender, EventArgs e) { convertSource = 1; } private void Bar_CheckedChanged(object sender, EventArgs e) { convertSource = 2; } private void Baz_RadioButton_CheckedChanged(object sender, EventArgs e) { convertSource = 3; } Now, I've been thinking about it and to be honest I thought there might have been a way to do it with a switch.. I just can't conceptualize it in my mind. If anyone could show me a more efficient way of doing this, I'd really appreciate it. It's just really bugging me that such a simple thing as this is taking up fifty to seventy lines of code. thanks, cpatton
