  I've been tasked with hosting our own inhouse mail server 1) i need to have web mail access , imap 2) it needs to be as cheap as possible i already have an ubuntu server that we use for our samba drives and so far have been very happy with it I am not apposed to building out another box for a dedicated email server but I'm not familiar enough with Linux or mail hosting programs to even know where to start.

  I'm trying to install Windows 8 with Bootcamp on my Macbook Pro. Sadly it won't let me get past the disk partition choice (even after formatting the Bootcamp-drive). It says: Windows can't be installed on this storage device. The chosen harddisk contains a MBR-partition-table. • Limiting user access to local Gitorious repository

  I have installed and configured in private server a local git repository using Gitorious. The problem I am facing is that when I set up a new Gitorious project and limit read access permissions to specific users, the repositories inside the project are not visible any more. This happens even though the access permissions of those repositories grant access to these users. Any idea on how to solve this problem? Thanks a lot in advance!

• Sum if ONLY all the cells have a value?

  Hi I need to sum 9 cells of data, each one on a separate sheet, but always in the same location. I only want a figure returned when all the cells have data, even if it's a 0. But, if one of the cells is blank I want a blank return. I'm trying to get my head around, making it up actually, where the IFs and ISBLANK and SUMS would go. • Excel 2007 - combination of If and vlookup formula

  i have a cell that refer to more than 1 worksheet and display the result (value) when it found the product from the 2 sheets. SheetA has 2 columns which column A is the value and column B is that product name, SheetB only has product name. Below is my formula but it failed to display result of product value, instead it always display Not Found even though the product is found from the sheets, is there anything wrong with the formula ? =IFERROR(VLOOKUP(A35,'SheetA'!A:B,1,FALSE),IFERROR(VLOOKUP(A35,'SheetB'!D19:D115,1,FALSE),"Not Found"))

  I've installed English Windows 8 x64 on my notebook and selected Slovenian as locale during installation. The problem I'm having now is that my tiles on start screen display in Slovenian even though my installation is English. I've also edited languages, adding English (British) on the list and putting it on top of Slovenian, but tiles still use Slovenian... All previous Windows versions were able to have English UI with a particular locale for input, time, dates, currency etc. How can I do the same in Windows 8?

• Creating a password-protected task in Windows 7

  I would like to configure a task like "child control software", so it would hibernate the pc at certain times. Is it possible to prevent modification (here: pausing) of a task through requiring the entering of the admin password to modify, EVEN THOUGH the currently-logged-in (and only) user is the admin account itself? (Do you know of any child control software that does NOT require an additional account yet is able to hibernate the system at certain times?) Thanks a lot!

  I have a questions regarding how to see all NICS in the solaris 8/9 SPARC boxes. Even if they are active/inactive. dladm show-link command does not work. cat /etc/path_to_inst could but it's hard to make out the NICS. Also when a cable is disconnected from the NIC ifconfig -a still shows the NIC as "UP/RUNNING" without looking at the system message, is there a way to know that the NIC is unplugged? Thank you!

  My system doesn't boot at all, upon starting it takes me to the Windows Error Recovery screen saying "Windows failed to start, a recent software or hardware change might be the cause" and gives two options Launch System Repair (Recommended) Start Windows normally But neither options work, upon clicking either of them, some progress bars get displayed and the screen just freezes on "Starting Windows". I tried booting from the Windows 7 disk but it too freezes on the "Starting Windows" screen. I even tried booting from ubuntu, slax linux, but they don't work too.

  There isn't much room on server chassis and I'm wondering where a label with the servers name should go? Is there any other information in addition to the name that should go on the label? Does it make sense to label each hard drive in a server or is that not necessary? There certainly is overkill, when I worked at Big Blue labeling was a huge source of bureaucracy, even a projector needed to be labelled and have it's whereabouts routinely reported.

  System: Windows 7 Home Premium IE: 11.0.9600.17107 When I have had many, many apps and windows open, sometimes I'll try to access a folder and get a dialog that says "System Call Failed". I have found the fix for it is to open the task manager and End Process Tree on iexplore.exe and iexplore.exe *32. Often times there will be several of these even when I have closed all my browser windows. Does anyone have any experience with this error?

• Sync folder outside SkyDrive on OS X

  After the recent 25 GB update, I wanted to sync my pictures with SkyDrive as I finally have enough space (My almost 10 GB Dropbox is full with other data and I need more than 10 GB for my pictures alone). Anyway, the symlink (ln -s) option is not really working as it just creates an alias inside the skydrive which is not even synchronised. Is there any other option or do I have to live with moving the pictures folder into SkyDrive (which I wouldn't really want to do).

  I have an IIS server running a site, appPool is running under local system, this is done because its easier to have full permissions to certificates and other file based resources on the local server. Problem is when I try write or copy a file to a network share, permissions are obviously not in place on the remote system for the IIS server local system. Is it possible to grant permissions on the remote system to include read/write or even full access to the IIS servers local system account?

This is being done in a safe fashion (over SSH, and on a system with only one user able to be logged in), so it's fine to expose the new password (and even the old one, if necessary) on the command line. FWIW, it's a Ubuntu system. I just want to avoid having to add something Expect-like to this system for just this one task.

• Best way to "clone" my Windows Server 2008 R2?

I have an exact copy of the hardware of it, which I intend to use a a redundant backup in case my server fails (hardware or software). I'd like to routinely "clone" my production server's hard drive, so that when it fails, I'll just swap it with the latest clone. Is this even possible?   this works: {=MEDIAN((Table1[MonthFinish]=201012)*(Table1[Days]))} but if I put 201012 into cell A3, this doesn't done work: {=MEDIAN((Table1[MonthFinish]=A3)*(Table1[Days]))} when i do Evaluate Formula on the 2nd one...I see that there are double quotes about the 201012 that was pulled from A3...like so: {=MEDIAN((Table1[MonthFinish]="201012")*(Table1[Days]))} and as such, all the 201012s pulled from the MonthFinsh row come back as FALSE when compared to "201012" (ie, 201012="201012" ) where as they come back as TRUE when I hard code 201012 as it shows up as 201012=201012. how do i get even to not put those quotes around the number?

• Same index for all (sub-)directories?

  Hi. I was wondering if it was possible to write some .htaccess page that makes the server use an index.php file in a SINGLE directory as the index file for every directory/sub-directory on my server, rather than placing the exact same index.php in 200+ directories. If my description isn't clear, what I essentially mean is: /files/index.php is to be used as the index for, for example, /files/morefiles, as well as the index for all directories and sub-directories within /files/, even though those directories would not have an index file themselves. • Mac has IP address, can connect to router but can't connect outside

  Weird problem, my MacBook can't connect anywhere right now! The router works, it gets an IP, it can log into to the router but it can't resolve anything! The router works as I connected another device to it and it connected to the net. The MacBook doesn't have any strange DNS configurations either, just 192.168.1.1 for the router I even tried tethering it to my phone, and it still would not connect to the net... help?
