  I have a .Net 1.1 app that must be upgraded to 2.0. The application encrypts passwords in the database using MD5CryptoServiceProvider. After I upgraded to 2.0, the MD5 value was different. In the machine.config, the machinekey was set to autogenerate. Is there a way to retrieve this key?

  Hi, I am doing a really simple query in asp.net but after I inserted the LIKE clause it stops working. Example: String sql = " SELECT * FROM Products WHERE ID = @MYID AND Name LIKE '%@MYNAME%' "; SqlCommand command = new SqlCommand(sql, cn); If I removed the LIKE it works. Hence I am thinking its to do with the '' quotes? Thanks

  I have to generate an excel file and a PDF file from an asp.net application. I'm using the Interop assemblies and I can generate the excel file without any problem. When i execute using (IDataReader csv = new CsvReader (new StreamReader("sample.txt"), true, '|')) { ..... } it complains me that "sample.txt" not found in "c:\Program Files\.....\" Won't the runtime automatically look into the bin folder? what modification do i need to do?
