I know that if I pass it this way in Firefox, it works: https://{UserName}:{Password}@api.opsourcecloud.net/oec/0.9/myaccount Is there a proper way to pass user name and password aside from the above example?     I am using jquery validation plugin to validate a registration form. Each text input field has instructions pre-filled as values in the input box ex: for a text-input box id='Name', the default value will be set to 'Enter Your Name'. I have pasted below sample code: <input type="text" id="Name" value="Enter Your Name" onfocus="if(this.value == 'Your Name'){this.value = '';}" type="text" class="required" onblur="if(this.value == ''){this.value='Your Name';}" size="25" /> What I need to know is how to specify in the validation rule such that the plugin throws a required field error if the input box contains either the default message or empty values.     I currently have my web.xml configured to catch 404s and send them to my spring controller which will perform a search given the original URL request. The problem lies in resolving the view's path to the /WEB-INF/jsp/ directory. Using a logger in my JBoss setup, I can see that when I test this search controller by going to a non-existent page, the following occurs: Server can't find the request Request is sent to 404 error page (in this case my search controller) Search controller performs search Search controller returns view name (for this illustration, we'll assume test.jsp is returned) Based off of server logger, I can see that org.springframework.web.servlet.view.JstlView is initialized once my search controller returns the view name (so I can assume it is being picked up correctly by the InternalResourceViewResolver) Server attempts to return content to browser resulting in a 404! A couple things confuse me about this: I'm not 100% sure why this isn't resolving when test.jsp clearly exists under the /WEB-INF/jsp/ directory. Even if there was some other problem, why would this result in a 404? Shouldn't a 404 error page that results in another 404 theoretically create an infinite loop? Thanks for any help or pointers!   • PHP apache_request_headers() diagrees with reality (as confirmed by Firebug): why?

    I have written a web app in PHP which makes use of Ajax requests (made using YUI.util.Connect.asyncRequest). Most of the time, this works fine. The request is sent with an X-Requested-With value of XMLHttpRequest. My PHP controller code uses apache_request_headers() to check whether an incoming request is Ajax or not and all works well. But not always. Intermittently, I'm getting a situation where the Ajax request is sent (and Firebug confirms for me that the headers on the request include an X-Requested-With of XMLHttpRequest) but apache_request_headers() is not returning that header in its list.     I have a simple navigation based iPhone app, in which user can navigate form one view to another view. There is only one view which have 4 tab. Each tab loads a a seperate nib with a corresponding controller. Each nib contains a tableview with some other controls for searching/filtering etc. Apprt from this I dont need tabBar in any view. So for ex: Login View Welcome View (With TabBar) user select Setting tab and select any setting option Setting Detail view(WITHOUT tabbar) Back WelcomView( With Tab Bar) I am confused how to add a tab bar in navigation based template where only one view is using tabBar all other uses Navigation I hope you understand my problem. I am new to iphone so any example/link will help a lot. Thanks

    When using ECMAScripts typeof on plugin elements (i.e. embed or object), Safari & FireFox return "function": typeof(window.document['myPlugin']) // "function" This can't be influenced on the plugin side, as the browser doesn't call the plugin here. Funny enough, in IE the same line evaluates to "object". Is that simply implementation dependent behaviour as per ECMAScript §11.4.3 or am i missing something here?

    Hi All, I have a RadioGroup and two RadioButtonField added in a VerticalFieldManager. I want put an EditField for the first RadioButtonField horizontally. For ex: I have two RadioButtonField as "Enter number here:" otherwise user can choose "Number from existing Database:" in the second RadioButtonsField. In the first field "Enter number here:" i need provide an EditField horizontally next to first RadioButtonField, for him to type. I am trying to put an EditField horizoally but it doesn't show EditField horizonatally to the first RadioButtonField. May i know how to do that (or) any samples to do that? Thanks.

Now I want to build "User" controller. what I want: if people goes to url: example.com/signup, I want use default route to "Signup" Controller if people goes to url: example.com/bobby.ariffin, I want to reroute this to "User" Controller because the url not handled by any Controller in my apps. I had create this in my config/routes.php: $route['(:any)'] = "user/$1"; but it's override all the route in my apps to "User" Controller. Is there any simple route for Codeigniter that doesn't override the other controller routes?

The full story: I would like to help my clients do acceptance testing by providing them with a suite of tests that use some smarts to create random (or at least pseudo-random) values for the database.   • OutputDebugString + DebugView = not tabs!

    I am dumping \t delimited data using using OutputDebugString and then use ex-Sysinternals DebugView to capture it. The problem is that all the data in DebugView appear to be space delimited, hence I need to perfrorm CTRL+H "\x20" "t" to replace spaces with the tabs before I can use it (I really need tab delimited data). Is there anyway to tell DebugView not to replace tabs with spaces? Or maybe there is a better tool available to capture output of the OutputDebugString function? Any ideas are very welcome!

    I want to use a while loop to initialize class objects with a simple incremented naming convention. The goal is to be able to scale the number of class objects at will and have the program generate the names automatically. (ex. h1...h100...h1000...) Each h1,h2,h3... being its own instance.     I want to create a user history function that allows shows users what they done. ex: commented on an ad, posted an ad, voted on an ad, etc. How exactly do I do this? I was thinking about... in my site, when they log in it stores their user_id ($_SESSION['user_id']) so I guess whenever an user posts an ad(postad.php), comments(comment.php), I would just store in a database table "userhistory" what they did based on whenever or not their user_id was activate. When they comment, I store the user_id in the comment dbc table, so I'll also store it in the "userhistory" table. And then I would just queries all the rows in the dbc for the user to show it Any steps/improvements I can make? :)
