  I have the following function that I am using to remove the characters \04 and nulls from my xmlString but I can't find what do I need to change to avoid removing the \ from my ending tags. • IntellIJ editor doesn't appear

  I updated my IntellIJ install to the latest version (11.1.4) and now the Editor window doesn't appear. Double-clicking on the file, jump-to-source, nothing happens. No error message, it just doesn't appear. If I double-click on an xml layout file the preview window works, but no Editor window. Have installed and reinstalled; went back to an earlier version and it doesn't work there either. I'm at a loss. Any ideas? Update: Editor works if I create a new project. • ASP.net 4.0 default.aspx problem on IIS6

  I installed .net framework 4 on my windows 2003 enterprise x64, wrote simple asp.net 4.0 application (default.aspx page only). The application works great if request is to default.aspx, not to the root site: contoso.com/ - doesn't work (Get 404 error) contoso.com/default.aspx - works. Default.aspx is in list of default documents in IIS. Please help.

  I have a android view with 2 buttons centered. I want to change the button sizes to be bigger when I run the app on a tablet because they look ridiculous small there since it is the same size as for the phones. How can I do this? It breaks the text to pieces "THE REALSONG OF THIS VIDEOS IS REAL GONE, BUT FOR COPYRIGHTS RASONS.....YOUTUBE FORCE ME A CHANGE THE SONG :s Un peque" And next should be "ño" but it just quit the parsing there and further tags are being handled. :( It always does with the ISO 8859 1 Character cames in ) Any quick idea ??? • How to parse HTML with TouchXML or some other alternative.

  Hi, I'm trying to parse the HTML presented below with TouchXML but it keeps crashing when I try to extract certain attributes. I'm totally new to the parser world so I apologize for being a complete idiot. I need help to parse this HTML. What I'm trying to accomplish is to parse each attribute and value or what not and copy them to a string. I've been trying to find a good parser to parse HTML and I believe TouchXML is the best I've seen because of Tidy. Speaking of Tidy, How could I run this HTML through Tidy first then parse it? I'm not sure how to do this. Here is the code that I have so far that doesn't work due to it's not pulling everything I need from the HTML. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.   Greetings, Would like to know if we need to explicitly free the string allocated by a xmldomnodeptr using it's get_text() i.e. IXMLDOMNodePtr pNode; /*some code*/ BSTR sValue; pNode->get_text(&sValue); /*Should I do this?*/ SysFreeString(sValue); I cannot see any documentation stating the same, so I'm assuming we need to do explicit deallocation sysfreestring. When submitting a sitemap to the search engines should i send one sitemap with links to all the different language versions or have one separate sitemap for each language. Is that even possible?

  I am working on a .NET project where several versions of the same type of object have been created over the life of the project - most new versions add a field or two. However, now I am looking to mitigate problems for users with an old version. My goal is that when a user tries to open an old version of the serialized object with the new program, the program will automatically assign default values to the fields that are missing from the depreciated version of the file. For example, say I had a class with two boolean fields - RepeatSound and RepeatForever. The first version of the program doesn't know how to repeat forever, so it only saved RepeatSound: <anyType xsi:type="Sound"> <RepeatSound>true</RepeatSound> </anyType> but the new files look like this: <anyType xsi:type="Sound"> <RepeatSound>true</RepeatSound> <RepeatForever>true</RepeatForever> </anyType> My goal is that when I deserialize the first file in the new program that it will create the Sound object but simply default the value of RepeatForever to false. Right now trying to deserialize the first object would throw an exception. Thank you in advance for any responses

  I have the following classes [XmlRoot] public class AList { public List<B> ListOfBs {get; set;} } public class B { public string BaseProperty {get; set;} } public class C : B { public string SomeProperty {get; set;} } public class Main { public static void Main(string[] args) { var aList = new AList(); aList.ListOfBs = new List<B>(); var c = new C { BaseProperty = "Base", SomeProperty = "Some" }; aList.ListOfBs.Add(c); var type = typeof (AList); var serializer = new XmlSerializer(type); TextWriter w = new StringWriter(); serializer.Serialize(w, aList); } } Now when I try to run the code I got an InvalidOperationException at last line saying that The type XmlTest.C was not expected. Use the XmlInclude or SoapInclude attribute to specify types that are not known statically. I know that adding a [XmlInclude(typeof(C))] attribute with [XmlRoot] would solve the problem. But I want to achieve it dynamically. Because in my project class C is not known prior to loading. Class C is being loaded as a plugin, so it is not possible for me to add XmlInclude attribute there. I tried also with TypeDescriptor.AddAttributes(typeof(AList), new[] { new XmlIncludeAttribute(c.GetType()) }); before var type = typeof (AList); but no use. It is still giving the same exception. Does any one have any idea on how to achieve it?
