  • Can Box Layout accept size of included elements?

    I used myPanel.setLayout(new BoxLayout(myPanel, BoxLayout.Y_AXIS)); to order panels vertically (one under another one). But myPanel defined in the shown way change the included panel. In more details, it tries to set the same hight and width for the included panels. Can it be changed? Can BoxLayout adopt size of the included elements?

Been working on a project... just installed dotLess after one year of development to ease a little bit the job of creating new CSS files for some new functionality of the web site, and recently our old CSS is not working correctly.     I am binning a 2d array (x by y) in Python into the bins of its x value (given in "bins"), using np.digitize: elements_to_bins = digitize(vals, bins) where "vals" is a 2d array, i.e.: vals = array([[1, v1], [2, v2], ...]). elements_to_bins just says what bin each element falls into. What I then want to do is get a list whose length is the number of bins in "bins", and each element returns the y-dimension of "vals" that falls into that bin. I do it this way right now: points_by_bins = [] for curr_bin in range(min(elements_to_bins), max(elements_to_bins) + 1): curr_indx = where(elements_to_bins == curr_bin)[0] curr_bin_vals = vals[:, curr_indx] points_by_bins.append(curr_bin_vals) is there a more elegant/simpler way to do this?     I have a text file and when users upload the file, the controller action method parses that file using state machine and uses a generic list to store some values. I pass this back to the view in the form of an IEnumerable. Within my main view, based on this ienumerable list I render a partail view to iterate items and display labels and a textarea. Users could add their input in the text area. I have 2 tables in my database: log_visitors: -------------------- id | host_id log_access: -------------------- visitor | document | timestamp "log_access.visitor" links to "log_visitors.id" Currently, I'm using this query: SELECT log_visitors.host_id , MIM(log_access.timestamp) AS min_timestamp FROM log_access INNER JOIN log_visitors ON (log_access.visitor = log_visitors.id) GROUP BY log_visitors.host_id; to get "MIN(timestamp)" for each "host_id" in the database. HERE'S MY QUESTION: I also need to get "document" for that access with that timestamp... I can't simply add "log_access.document" into SELECT list, since it's not constant and I am not grouping by document... Any ideas?

  • jPlayer problem in Firefox - also throws error from jQuery?! Not related to OGG support.

    I've been working on a small SVG website, http://docroot.ca/ - the SVG part has been working out pretty well. In the current site, jPlayer is called and given an mp3. jPlayer functions properly in Safari, Chrome, and Opera, but not Firefox which throws the following two errors: Error: not well-formed Source File: Line: 1, Column: 191 Source Code: <div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><embed name="jqjp_flash_0" id="jqjp_flash_0" src="js/Jplayer.swf" width="0" height="0" bgcolor="#ffffff" quality="high" FlashVars="id=jPlayerBox&fid=jqjp_flash_0&vol=80" allowScriptAccess="always" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></ and: Error: uncaught exception: [Exception...
