    How to delete duplicate restored user files with "(2)" added (Win7) I restored my user files on windows 7 system from the Win 7 backup. I selected the wrong restore option and all files were restored. Existing unchanged files were restored with the text string " (2)". Is there a way to write a batchfile or script to do this operation? Example file name: "01 lesson 1" "01 lesson 1 (2)" I want to delete all files which had " (2)" appended on restore.

    I need to open a specific port on my mac client (because when I try to connect from server it says "target machine actively refused it ").My problem though is I cannot find a way to add a specific port on my latest Mac OS. I go to system pref-securtiy &privacy-firewall- turn it on (FWIW connection didnt work when I had turned it off)-Firewall options-"+" This gives me an option to add some application but not a port .Can someone point me to the right place to add the port?

    I've tried everything but I can't get MacBook 1,1 (which was running leopard) to boot os x after installing windows 7. I had the drivers for windows in a .pkg file and didnt realise it won't install them in windows. I am totally stuck with a half usefull windows system, any help would be greatly appricatet.   • Dulpicate tab in Console2

    I was wondering if there is a way to open up a new tab in Console2 and have it open in the same directory as the current tab? I am developing a Laravel app and I have a server running on one tab and when I need to migrate and other things, I need a new tab. I know I can stop the server migrate and I know it only takes a couple seconds to cd into the directories, but I was just wondering if there is an option for this. Thanks!

    When I'm editing some files ( html, css, js ) on UESTUDIO by FTP I'm able to browser folders, create new files on existing folders, but when I create a new folder and try to create a new file it won't allow me to select the "create new file" choice on the menu. Also, if I uncheck the "Show current directory only" option, then the menu to create folders and files on the current one ( that worked before ) disapears and I'm unable to use it.     Currently we have a lightly customised version of phpSchedule for booking our development/test machines (including a raft of VMs), which no-one uses. It's slow, time-consuming to use, out of date, and therefore pretty much useless. Getting a new system in place suddenly appeared on the management radar, as there's been complaints that people are being blocked by not being able to get any machines to do development testing on (running our product on a desktop machine is not an option). Does anyone have any recommendations for alternative booking systems that are worth investigating?

    I'm trying to set up a personalized security option on my computer to take a picture using the webcam whenever someone tries to log onto my computer using an incorrect password. I've set up the task in the task scheduler, and I can get it to pass, but then the problem begins. When the task passes, it triggers like a million times and keeps going until I disable the task. Both episodes are still available for viewing (although only episode 2 has a live ' download' option).     I was trying to install another OS (ubuntu) on my laptop which already had a windows 7 installation. During the Ubuntu installation, I mistakenly clicked on the first option which was to erase the disk and install. It was only after the installation, that I realized the mistake. My question is how can I recover my original files from the windows installation even though I accidentally reformatted and installed Ubuntu?
