    Hi, Is there a plugin or feature in jQuery that enables the dynamic loading of stylesheets from different origins similar to $.getJSON() or $.getScript()? I am able to dynamically integrate a style sheet from the same origin, but I need to be able to dynamically inject a jQuery UI theme from a different origin into a page. I guess I can load the CSS file as JSON data and then apply the contents using $().css(); however, I was looking for a more elegant solution. Thanks

    Hi there, I'm playing with jQModal plugin and trying to display its window right after the page is loaded. I used this code in $(document).ready(function(): $('#letak').jqm({ overlay: 70, autofire: true }); autofire setting should do the trick but unfortunately it doesn't work.     Hi I am trying to deploy an application with two executable files one of which is the application it self. I used the publish tub on the VS 2008 and tried to publish manually using the MageUI.exe. in both cases I get the "Reference in the manifest does not match the identity of the downloaded assembly" error in regards to the second executable file.     I'm currently using the jQuery fullcalendar plugin but I've came across an issue regarding daylight savings time in Britain. After the daylight savings take effect the hours are being displayed an hour out of phase. The problem appears to be with the plugins parsing function. Can someone please provide me with the funciton to parse a UTC string which includes the 'Z' demonination into a local date time for display?

So i get a complex (very large)xml response from the plugin trackify. i want to read some values form it so i covert it into hash and then read it as follows For ex:- to read city @tracking_info['TrackResponse']['Shipment']['ShipTo']['Address']['City'] #>> "SEATTLE" my question is it proper way to getting xml response or there are some xml methods which is simple to use?

  • Tree and List on the same page

    Hi All! Using Grails and the RichUI plugin to display a tree, and it works fine. When I click one of the Nodes in the tree I show a list(table) from a controller. I should be able to create new, edit and sort. My problem is that pagination doesn't work and also sorting!!! Are there anyone who has done this, or can it be done differently ? Best Regards Jamie

    I have created two WCF Services (Shipping & PDFGenerator). They both, along with my ClientApp, share an assembly named Kyle.Common.Contracts. However, if I leave GeneratePDF there, the proxy refuses to use Kyle.Common.Contracts.TrackResult, and instead creates a new class, ClientApp.PDFDocServices.TrackResult, and uses that as the return type of Test. Is there a way to force the proxy generator to use Kyle.Common.Contracts.TrackResult whenever I use a MessageContract? Perhaps there's a better method for using a Stream and File Name as return types? I just don't want to have to create a Copy method to copy from ClientApp.PDFDocServices.TrackResult to Kyle.Common.Contracts.TrackResult, since they should be the exact same class.     I have a website that uses AjaxControlToolkit.dll and Log4Net.dll; When I try to run the performance profiling tool in VS 2010 on it it gives me the following warnings "AjaxControlToolkit.dll is signed and instrumenting it will invalidate its signature. If you proceed without a post-instrument event to re-sign the binary it may not load correctly". Now, if I choose the option to continue without re-signing the profiling starts but the assembly doesn't load and gives an ASP.NET exception.

A small portion of my images are not being served from the asset host because they are displayed using the CSS background-image property rather than image_tag Is there are clean workaround for this?     Is there a built-in jQuery function for encoding a string as HTML? I'm trying to take the text a user types into a text box and then put that text into a different area of the page. My plan was to take the .val() from the text box and supply that to the .html() of the <div> element. Perhaps there's a good jQuery plugin to help with this (if it's not built-in) or a better way overall to accomplish this goal.
