  • UIActionSheet position on landscape and portrait

    UIActionSheet positioning is not centered when I open it in landscape mode. If I set bounds or change the frame. The contents inside the UIActionSheet which is a subview changes but the actual sheet remains in the same place which looks very awkward. How do I move the UIActionSheet along with it's subview to the center of the screen?

  • Databinding to ObservableCollection in a different UserControl?

    Question re-written on 2010-03-24 I have two UserControls, where one is a dialog that has a TabControl, and the other is one that appears within said TabControl. I'll just call them CandyDialog and CandyNameViewer for simplicity's sake. There's also a data management class called Tracker that manages information storage, which for all intents and purposes just exposes a public property that is an ObservableCollection. As long as CandyNames is populated first, and then the consumer UserControl is displayed, all of the names are there. I obviously don't get any errors in the Output Window or anything like that. The issue I have is that when the ObservableCollection is modified from the model, those changes are not reflected in the consumer UserControl! I've never had this problem before; all of my previous uses of ObservableCollection updated fine, although in those cases I wasn't databinding across assemblies. Although I am currently only adding and removing candy names to/from the ObservableCollection, at a later date I will likely also allow renaming from the model side. Is there something I did wrong? Is there a good way to actually debug this? Reed Copsey indicates here that inter-UserControl databinding is possible. Unfortunately, my favorite Bea Stollnitz article on WPF databinding debugging doesn't suggest anything that I could use for this particular problem.

    I am using Ubuntu 10.04 and for some time I had to keep a downgraded PHP 5.2 package because I need to run Zend encrypted scripts. Recently I noticed that Zend released beta version of their loader (http://forums.zend.com/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=1365&start=80#p22073) so I updated to the native PHP 5.3 package, downloaded the .so file, added this to php.ini ;zend_extension=/etc/php5/ZendOptimizer.so zend_extension=/etc/php5/ZendGuardLoader.so zend_loader.enable=1 zend_loader.disable_licensing=0 zend_loader.obfuscation_level_support=3 and restarted the server. Now I am getting this error: Fatal error: Incompatible file format: The encoded file has format major ID 1, whereas the Loader expects 4 in ... on line 0 Do you by chance know an easy fix for this? Or should I downgrade back and wait till when they release something more stable?

    Hello. Once deployed parts of my web-application stop working. Index-es on each controller do work, and one form posting via Ajax, Login works too. Other then that yields 404. I understand that nothing particular should be done in integrated mode. I don't know how to proceed with troubleshooting. Some info: App is using default app pool set to integrated mode. WebApp is done in net framework 3.5. I use default routing model. Along web.config in root there is web.config in /View folder referencing HttpNotFoundHandler. OS is Windows Server 2008. Admins issued aspnet_regiis.exe -i IIS 7 Any help is appreciated. Thx. EDIT: I determined that only actions that accept ID parameter don't work. On the contrary, when I add dummy id method in Home controller of default MVC app it works.   • SmartGWT Program not displaying getting wnd.isc.Browser is null

    When running my gwt program in GWT Development Mode it fails to display showing this error in the console: com.google.gwt.core.client.JavaScriptException: (TypeError): '$wnd.isc.Browser' is null or not an object I do not believe the error is due to my project setup. Other member of the team can compile fine. It is most likely some type of config problem on my end. I have re-checked out the project and still get the error. I am using the latest jdk 1.6.0_19 if that matters

    I want to be able to reorder cells in a table, but not to delete or insert them. I want a picture like this: This image appears in Apple's Table View Programming Guige, but the code samples there produce a table with red "delete" buttons when the table goes into editing mode. I can set editingStyleForRowAtIndexPath to UITableViewCellEditingStyleNone and that makes the delete buttons go away, but the rows are still indented as if to make room for these buttons.

    I am getting the following error when I try to build an ASP.NET 4 project in Visual Studio 2010: "Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Dev\project\trunk\bin\Elmah.dll' or one of its dependencies. Operation is not supported. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131515)". I have verified that the dll does, in fact, exist, and is getting copied to the bin folder correctly. I have also tried removing and then re-adding the reference to the project. The build only fails when I switch the Solution Configuration to "Release". It does not fail when the Solution Configuration is set to "Debug".     When I have a computationally expensive flash animation running in my page, sometimes javascript keyUp listeners on a textfield are not being fired. Keydown events are not lost. This only happens in IE8 (and IE7 in compatibility mode). I need those keyup listeners! How can I solve / workaround this problem? Ideas: query the textfield myself (without the broken listener) if the key is down or up? can I do this?

However, I didn't find any solution for this problem I'm having: I have a UITableView with 2 sections, and no rows when the app is launched for the first time. The user can fill the sections later on as he wishes (the content is not relevant here). The UITableView looks good when filled with rows, but looks pretty ugly when there is none (the 2 header sections are stuck together with no white space in between). That is why I'd like to add a nice "No row" view in between when there is no row.     I have a simple webform targeted for Opera Mini and Opera Mobile. I'm using just a HTML input element. Now I would like to restrict the element to only have integer numbers. Is there a way to enforce this in this browser (possible even that the phone will have it's number mode on when entering the form)? And if I wanted to allow floats, is something possible then?

  • How to add “chapters” or “bookmarks” to movies?

    Is there an easy way to add chapters to existing movie files? Note: Actually, I’m not 100% sure if they’re called “chapters” in video files, but it’s the same concept as DVDs. I assume this differs with the video encoding, but any help at all is progress! I have video files in various formats (although .mov, .mp4, and .m4v are my most common). I’m on Mac OS X, but I posted here (instead of the Apple Q&A) because I figured any answers may be useful to other non-Apple power users. Apple-native, application-based solutions preferred (usability is top of my list). However, command-line programs and utilities that do the job are just as welcome. Please share any indirect-but-related wisdom you may have on this topic. Thanks!

    We are getting the error above on some pages of an ASP.NET MVC application when it is deployed to a 64 bit Windows 2008 server box. It works fine on our development machines, though these are 32 bit XP. Just wondered if anyone had encountered this before, and has any suggestions? Details as follows: Bad binary signature. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131192) Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Bad binary signature. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131192) All projects are set to compile for Any CPU, and are compiled in Release mode. The ASP.NET site is precompiled, and the precompiled build is on a 64 bit Windows 2008 TeamCity build agent. Thanks in advance. EDIT We're still plagued by this. I have looked at all the binaries in the website's bin directory using corflags.exe. None has the 32BIT flag set, and all have a CorFlags value of 9 except for Antlr3.Runtime.dll which has a value of 1. The problem only affects certain pages, and it seems to be those which use FluentValidation (including FluentValidation.Mvc and FluentValidation.xValIntegration assemblies). None of these shows anything out of the ordinary when inspected with corflags.exe, and there are no odd looking dependencies revealed by ildasm. When built locally (32 bit Windows XP) the site deploys and runs fine. When built on the build agents (64 bit Windows 2008 Server) the site displays these errors.     Has anyone managed to run wcf successfully in 2.0 integrated mode on IIS7 when .net 4 has been installed? I found that installing .net 4 removed the 2.0 handlers for svc and replaced them with .net 4 versions (this led to a 404.17 error in my v3.5 site), I managed to get my 3.5 site working again by running ServiceModelReg.exe /i from the v3.0 folder (Windows Commuication Foundation) but that removed the 4.0 mappings so they seem to be mutually exclusive? any advise on how to run a 4.0 and 3.5 WCF site on the same IIS7 server?

  • setup Zyxel USG 20W as L2TP VPN Server

    I've a Zywall USG 20W (wireless disabled) behind a router supplied by the ISP. All ports (both TCP and UDP) on the ISP router are forwarded to the 20W. I'm trying to configure an L2TP VPN to be used by Windows Xp / 7 with Microsoft native client. This was working before with a different firewall, so I'm pretty sure that all the required packets are flowing to the 20W. I followed a tutorial from the italian Zyxel Website, but I cannot get the VPN to work. Always cannot pass phase 2, and I see the following on the log: [ID]: Tunnel [Default_L2TP_VPN_Connection] Phase 2 local policy mismatch Phase 1 goes fine. In Windows the error is always 788. This happens regardless the proposals I set in the phase 1 and 2 setting. What should I check ? Is there any way to get more detailed diagnostic info (policy mismatch is too generic) ?
