  • Refresh browser???????????????????????????

    hello all, I am working with images and changing their sizes dynamically from the input I get from the user. when I change the size of the image first time it doesnot reflect the changes when I click the refresh the page using the browser button the change gets reflected and after that tere is no need to click the refresh button Please tell how shall I do it so that there is no need to click the refresh button of the browser ,the changes but get reflected at one shot.     I have a class that inherits from a generic dictionary as follows: Class myClass : System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary<int, Object> I have added a list of values to this in a particular order, but I now wish to change that order. Is there any way (without removing and re-adding) that I could effectively re-index the values; so change the object at index 1 to now be at index 10 for example? For example, this doesn't work: myClass[1].Index = 10;

    I am working with Rails 2.2. The required behaviour is as follows: I have a link(with a ajax link embedded) xyz.com/admin#page1 When I go to the above page, I should be redirected to the login page, if I am not logged in. After I log in, I should be taken back to xyz.com/admin#page1 For this I need to store the url in session when I visit any page. The problem is that when I do request.uri, I get xyz.com/admin But I want to store xyz.com/admin#page1 Regards, Pankaj

  • How do I constrain the SCons Command builder to run only if its dependencies have changed?

    I am using the Command builder in scons to specify that a particular script needs to be invoked to produce a particular file. I would like to only run the script if it has been modified since the file was previously generated. The default behaviour of the Command builder seems to be to always run the script. How can I change this? This is my current SConstruct: speed = Command('speed_analysis.tex','','python code/speed.py') report = PDF(target = 'report.pdf', source = 'report.tex') Depends(report, speed)

    I've noticed that the MS ajax framework touches the action of the default form during Sys.Application.initialize, appending location.hash to it. This is interfering with other code in my app that expects different behaviour. What does the framework do with that? It refers to the values it puts on the hash as 'state', but how do I find out what it's communicating and from where?

  • Jquery ui slide content along with scroll bar

    Well i'm totaly lost here, i am using jquery ui sliderwidget to make this quite simple menu but i just can't figure out a basic formula to make menu items slide along with with scroll bar.     There are a lot of questions about formatting forms so that labels align, and almost all the answers which suggest a pure CSS solution (as opposed to using a table) provide a fixed width to the label element. But isn't this mixing content and presentation? In order to choose the right width you basically have to see how big your longest label is and try a pixel width value until "it fits". This means that if you change your labels you also have to change your CSS.

What are some strategies for implement this feature? FYI, The platform I am using is rather bare-bone in its GUI/front-end execution. To change color and formatting, it requires a change to the formatting state (much like OpenGL).

I've implemented a slider, but I have a link which lives outside of the slider (outsideLink) which needs to change as the slider changes. I'm trying to achieve the following: for each link in sliderList get currentLink.href outsideLink.href = currentLink.href wait 3 seconds repeat end I'm not sure how to implement the delay when I'm going through a list of items though.

    I noticed that Kohana 3 ORM runs a "SHOW FULL COLUMNS" for each of my models when I start using them: SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM `mytable` This query might take a few clock cycles to execute (in the Kohana profiler it's actually the slowest of all queries ran in my current app). Is there a way to help Kohana 3 ORM to speed up by disabling this behaviour and explicitly define the columns in my models instead?

    Hi guys, In my app I save an XML file to the users SD-card by doing File newxmlfile = new File(Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory() + "/Message.xml"); But not all users have SD-cards in their phone and therefore my app is likely to crash. How must I change my File creating method in order to save the file to the phone's memory instead of the SD-card? Also, how must I change the loading of the file? (currently: new InputSource(new FileInputStream(Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory() + "/Message.xml")))
