  • Appdomain recycle settings on mod_mono & Apache

    How does one control the application recycle settings for an ASP.NET application runnin on mod_mono & Apache ? On IIS6 & 7 there was an option to specify either a time period, a number of requests, etc. when the AppDomain would be recycled and the application would basically do an Application_End() / Application_Start(). I am seeing the same behaviour on mod_mono & Apache ,but I can't find where to change the settings.

  • 2-col layout, one col scrolls vertical, other is fixed. Both scroll horizontal.

    Im trying to do a 2 column layout where the left column is very long vertically, and the right column is very long horizontally. When I scroll vertically, I want to move up and down the left column while the right one stays fixed. When I scroll horizontally, both columns move left-right (normal behaviour) I hope this drawing explain it more (sorry for the bad quality): Is this possible to do using only css? If not, how can I do it with javascript? Thanks

  • Python - counting sign changes

    I have a list of numbers I am reading left to right. Anytime I encounter a sign change when reading the sequence I want to count it. X = [-3,2,7,-4,1,-1,1,6,-1,0,-2,1] X = [-, +, +, -, +, -, +, +, -, -,-,+] So, in this list there are 8 sign changes. When Item [0] (in this case -3) is negative it is considered a sign change. Also, any 0 in the list is considered [-]. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • VBA Excel - Workbook_SheetChange

    Hopefully this question hasn't already been asked, I tried searching for an answer and couldn't find anything. This is probably a simple question, but I am writing my first macro in excel and am having a problem that I can't find out a solution to. I wrote a couple of macros that basically sum up columns dynamically (so that the number of rows can change and the formula moves down automatically) based on a value in another column of the same row, and I call those macros from the event Workbook_SheetChange. The problem I'm having is, I change a cell's value from my macro to display the result of the sum, and this then calls Workbook_SheetChange again, which I do not want. Right now it works, but I can trace it and see that Workbook_SheetChange is being called multiple times. This is preventing me from adding other cell changes to the macros, because then it results in an infinite loop. I want the macros to run every time a change is made to the sheet, but I don't see any way around allowing the macros to change a cell's value, so I don't know what to do. I will paste my code below, in case it is helpful.     Is there a way of updating the Option Set options for the Marketing List Member Type to reflect an entity display name change? i.e. if the account entity has been renamed to organisation, is there a supported way of reflecting this in the displayed options? I have been able to achieve this using javascript, but wondered if there was a better way of achieving this? At the moment I am unable to change the descriptions of the current options: Account, Contact or Lead.

  • How do I get TextMate style quotes in Emacs?

    In textmate, when there's a current selection, I hit the " key and the selection gets surrounded by quotes. The same thing happens with other balanced characters like (, {, [ and '. Am I missing something obvious in Emacs configuration that would enable similar behaviour when using transient mark mode, or do I need to break out elisp and write something?

    With the following simple mark-up, I get very strange behaviour in FF and IE8. If I give the textbox focus, and tab out, nothing happens. If I give a user name value, and erase it immediately, nothing happens. However, only when I supply a user name, tab away, the erase it and tab away again, do I finally get a red star "required" mark. The summary doesn't show at all.

    Hi all, i'm trying to make SwfUpload working. In some cases, I've a strange behaviour. So I would like to inspect the flows sended and received by the flash component. And I've tryed to use fiddler to do that, but I can't capture data comming from flash or going to flash. Is there a way to do that ?   • WPF ComboBox drop-down (data bound) values not changing

    I bind the ItemsSource of a ComboBox to an ObservableCollection<MyClass>. In code I change the collection (e.g. edit the MyClass.Name property). The problem: the change is not reflected in the dropdown box if the ComboBox, yet when I seled the item from the dropdown it is displayed correctly in the selected item box of the ComboBox. What's going on? :) PS MyClass has INotifyPropertyChanged implemented

  • How can I set environment variables depending on directory

    If I have 'export BLA="hey there"' in .profile in my home directory, how can I change this later in other directories just by cd into the other directory? Also, is there a way to just set a new environment variable when I cd into a directory. My first attempt was to just make another .bashrc file in the directory where I want the change but apparently that proved less than effective. I'm on OS X btw.

I created a very simple class, didn't define any comparison methods, but still instances of this class are comparable and thus sortable. Maybe, my class inherits comparison methods from somewhere.     Hi, If I apply a style from the SL 3.0 Toolkit to my application the built in SL 3.0 data validation errors are not displayed on the application edit forms. If I removed the code that applies the toolkit style to the application the SL 3.0 data validation errors appear as per normal SL 3.0 behaviour? Has anyone else come across this problem?????   • Date format broken in .net 4.0 for uk format

    I'm in the process of converting a couple of sites up to .net 4.0 and I seem to have a problem with regionalisaion of dates. This code: Date.Today.AddDays((Date.Today.DayOfWeek - 1) * -1).ToString() In .net 3.5 produces: '19/04/2010 00:00:00' but as soon as I change the app pool to 4.0 it produces: '4/19/2010 12:00:00 AM' Where can I change the setting that governs this?

Why the second "Hello" string occured in the child's output? Yes, it is exactly what the parent printed on it's start, with the parent's pid. But!
