• Cisco ASA: Allowing and Denying VPN Access based on membership to an AD group

  I have a Cisco ASA 5505 connecting to an Active Directory server for VPN authentication. Usually we'd restrict this to a particular OU, but in this case users which need access are spread across multiple OUs. So, I'd like to use a group to specify which users have remote access. I've created the group and added the users, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to deny users which aren't in that group. Right now, if someone connects they get assigned the correct group policy "companynamera" if they are in that group, so the LDAP mapping is working. However, users who are not in that group still authenticate fine, and their group policy becomes the LDAP path of their first group, i.e. CN=Domain Users,CN=Users,DC=example,DC=com, and then are still allowed access. How do I add a filter so that I can map everything that isn't "companynamera" to no access? • Setting values and display Text in Android Spinner

  Hi, I need help in setting up value and display text in spinner. as per now I am populating my spinner by array adapter e.g mySpinner.setAdapter(myAdapter); and as far as I know after doing this the display text and the value of spinner at same position is same. The other attribute that I can get from spinner is the position on the item. now in my case I want to make spinner like the drop down box, which we have in .NET. which holds a text and value. where as text is displayed and value is at back end. so if I change drop down box , I can either use its selected text or value. but its not happening in android spinner case. For Example: Text Value Cat 10 Mountain 5 Stone 9 Fish 14 River 13 Loin 17 so from above array I am only displaying non-living objects text, and what i want is that when user select them I get there value i.e. like when Mountain selected i get 5 I hope this example made my question a bit more clear... thankx

Each value in the array is a custom object that contains an IsDirty dependency property. The IsDirty property gets set when the value is changed. When i run this: change a value in column 1 = whole row goes yellow change a value in any other column = nothing happens I want only the changed cell to go yellow no matter what column its in. Do you see anything wrong with my XAML?

  I am having problems getting a databound radiobutton listbox in WPF to respond to user input and reflect changes to the data it's bound to (i.e., to making changes in the code). The user input side works fine (i.e., I can select a radiobutton and the list behaves as expected). But every attempt to change the selection in code fails. Silently (i.e., no exception). You can preset its initial values by setting prePopulate to a json string in the form ['name': 'some name', 'id': 'some id'] I do this by setting the inital value of the form field to this json string jquery_string = ['name': 'some name', 'id': 'some id'] form = MyForm(initial={'AutoComplete':jquery_string}) When submitting the form the the value of AutoComplete is returned as a comma seperated list of the selected ids e.g. 12,45,43,66 which if what I want. However if there is an error in the form, for example a required field has not been entered the value of the AutoComplete field is now 12,45,43,66 and not the json string which it requires. What is the best way to solve this. I was thinking about overwriting the clean method in the form class but I'm not sure how to find out if any other element has returned an error. e.g. if forms.errors form.cleaned_date['autocomplete'] = json string return form.cleaned_data Thanks

• How do I convert some ugly inline javascript into a function?

  I've got a form with various inputs that by default have no value. When a user changes one or more of the inputs all values including the blank ones are used in the URL GET string when submitted. So to clean it up I've got some javascript that removes the inputs before submission. It works well enough but I was wondering how to put this in a js function or tidy it up. Seems a bit messy to have it all clumped in to an onclick. Plus i'm going to be adding more so there will be quite a few. Here's the relevant code. There are 3 seperate lines for 3 seperate inputs. The first part of the line has a value that refers to the inputs ID ("mf","cf","bf","pf") and the second part of the line refers to the parent div ("dmf","dcf", etc). • jQuery select change/click problem - change doesn't work in IE, click doesn't work in Chrome

  As the title says, I have a problem with binding to a change in a dropdown select list - it seems that "change" doesn't work with IE(7 or 8), so when I try the alternative and use a "click" event, it works in IE but doesn't work in Chrome! Am I missing something obvious here?   I'm writing an OpenCMIS based application, which extracts some data from Alfresco 3.3.   There is a functionality in my module, where the user can scan the number of serial ports in the system and when the user clicks "Auto scan" button, the code will have to go through each serial port and send a test message and wait for the reply. I am using Progress bar control to show process of autoscan. For which i need to pass the value to "x" and "Y" in my code to update the bar. How can i pass the value since my code is already in a foreach loop for getting the serialports. • How to program a neural network for chess?

  Hello! I want to program a chess engine which learns to make good moves and win against other players. I've already coded a representation of the chess board and a function which outputs all possible moves. So I only need an evaluation function which says how good a given situation of the board is. Therefore, I would like to use an artificial neural network which should then evaluate a given position. The output should be a numerical value. The higher the value is, the better is the position for the white player. My approach is to build a network of 385 neurons: There are six unique chess pieces and 64 fields on the board. So for every field we take 6 neurons (1 for every piece). If there is a white piece, the input value is 1. If there is a black piece, the value is -1. And if there is no piece of that sort on that field, the value is 0. In addition to that there should be 1 neuron for the player to move. If it is White's turn, the input value is 1 and if it's Black's turn, the value is -1. I think that configuration of the neural network is quite good. But the main part is missing: How can I implement this neural network into a coding language (e.g. Delphi)? I think the weights for each neuron should be the same in the beginning. Depending on the result of a match, the weights should then be adjusted. But how? I think I should let 2 computer players (both using my engine) play against each other. If White wins, Black gets the feedback that its weights aren't good. So it would be great if you could help me implementing the neural network into a coding language (best would be Delphi, otherwise pseudo-code). Thanks in advance!

• MSBuild 2010 - how to publish web app to a specific location (nant)?

  I'm trying to get MSBuild 2010 to publish a web app to a specific location. I can get it to publish the deployment package to a particular path, but the deployment package then adds it's own path that changes. For example: if I tell it to publish to C:\dev\build\Output\Debug then the actual web files end up at C:\dev\build\Output\Debug\Archive\Content\C_C\code\sawadee\frontend\IPP-FrontEnd\Source\ControllersViews\obj\Debug\Package\PackageTmp And the C_C part of the path changes (not sure how it chooses this part of the path). This means I can't just script a copy from the publish location. • gunit syntax for tree walker with a flat list of nodes

  Here's a simple gunit test for a portion of my tree grammar which generates a flat list of nodes: objectOption walks objectOption: <<one:"value">> -> (one "value") Although you define a tree in ANTLR's rewrite syntax using a caret (i.e. ^(ROOT child...)), gunit matches trees without the caret, so the above represents a tree and it's not surprising that it fails: it's a flat list of nodes and not a tree. This results in a test failure: 1 failures found: test2 (objectOption walks objectOption, line17) - expected: (one \"value\") actual: one \"value\" Another option which seems intuitive is to leave off the parenthesis, like this: objectOption walks objectOption: <<one:"value">> -> one "value" But gunit doesn't like this syntax. It seems to result in a parse failure in the gunit grammar: line 17:20 no viable alternative at input 'one' line 17:24 missing ':' at 'value' line 0:-1 no viable alternative at input '<EOF>' java.lang.NullPointerException at org.antlr.gunit.OutputTest.getExpected(OutputTest.java:65) at org.antlr.gunit.gUnitExecutor.executeTests(gUnitExecutor.java:245) ... If I give the dropdown list the same name as the property on my model the selected value is not set properly. Meaning this works: <%= Html.DropDownList("fam", typeof(EnumFamily), Model.Family)%> But this doesn't: <%= Html.DropDownList("family", typeof(EnumFamily), Model.Family)%> Because I'm trying to pass an entire object directly to the controller method I am posting to, I would really like to have the dropdown list named for the property on the model. When using the "right" name, the dropdown does post correctly, I just can't seem to set the selected value. I don't think this matters but I am running MVC 1 on mono 2.6

  Quest I am looking to fetch rows that have accented characters. The encoding for the column (NAME) is latin1_swedish_ci. " "; } $r[] = $row; } The displayed values: 5482 5482 Abord â Plouffe Abord â Plouffe The array is then encoded using json_encode: $rows = db_fetch_all( $result ); echo json_encode( $rows ); Problem The web browser receives the following value: {"ID":"5482","NAME":null} Instead of: {"ID":"5482","NAME":"Abord â Plouffe"} (Or the encoded equivalent.) Question The documentation states that json_encode() works on UTF-8. I can see the values being encoded from LATIN1 to UTF-8. After the call to json_encode(), however, the value becomes null. How do I make json_encode() encode the UTF-8 values properly? One possible solution is to use the Zend Framework, but I'd rather not if it can be avoided.

• MVC Html.textbox/dropdown/whatever won't refresh on postback

  OK, let's start with the Html.Textbox. It is supposed to contain text read from a file. The file read is based on what the user picks from a dropdown list. The first time it is fine. The user picks a value from the dropdown list. The controller uses that value to read some text from a file, and returns that text to the view via the view model. Everything is fine. THen the user picks another value from the dropdown list. The controller reads a new value from a file and returns it via the view model. Debugging to the LINE BEFORE THE HTML.TEXTBOX is set in the view shows that the model contains the correct value. However, the textbox itself still shows the PREVIOUS value when the page displays! If I switch from Html.Textbox to a plain input, type="text" html control, everything works fine. That's not so hard, but the same thing happens with my dropdown list -- I can't set the selected value in code. It always reverts to whatever was chosen last. Rendering a "select" tag with a dynamically-generated option list is a pain. I would love to be able to use Html.Dropdown. What am I missing here?? This is such a simple thing in webforms!
