• Setting a Visual State from a data bound enum in WPF

  Hey all, I've got a scenario where I want to switch the visiblity of 4 different content controls. The visual states I have set opacity, and collapsed based on each given state (See code.) What I'd like to do is have the visual state bound to a property of my View Model of type Enum. I tried using DataStateBehavior, but it requires true/false, which doesn't work for me. So I tried DataStateSwitchBehavior, which seems to be totally broken for WPF4 from what I could tell. Is there a better way to be doing this? I'm really open to different approaches if need be, but I'd really like to keep this enum in the equation. • With a jquery modular dialog how do I stop the form values from persisting?

• 100% height with fixed footer and embedded Google Map

  I have a problem with a layout - it's not online anywhere, just local, but if you copy and paste the code below into an html page and run it locally you will see the same page I do. It's very nearly there. What I'm trying to achieve is a page with no scrollbars using up all available vertical space. Yes, I can set "overflow:hidden" on the container declaration and that helps, but it's not quite right. I want to actually have the google map surrounded with a 1em border. I have this on 3 sides but the 100% height declaration on the content div crashes the bottom border. If you don't realise the implications of a percentage-sized google map div, then the parent HAS to have a height declared for it to work. As the footer is absolute and outside of the flow, there is no "bottom" border to work to and the layout just doesn't work. The content div 100% height basically seems to take its size from the viewport and not the containing div. It's driving me mad... just can't seem to work out how to do this and I'd really appreciate some input. I did all this in the above CSS, and it almost works. The issue I am having is that the background colors of the list elements don't extend with the content. • Network Data Packet connectivity intent

  I am writing an Android application which can enable and disable the Network Data packet connection. I am also using one broadcast receiver to check the Network Data packet connection. I have registered broadcast receiver and provided required permission in Manifest file. But when I run this application it changes the connection state and after that it crashes. But when I don't include this broadcast receiver it works fine. I am not able to see any kind of log which can provide some clue. PS: Some information about Android environment and platform. - Android API 10. - Running on Samsung Galaxy II which has android 2.3.6 Edit: my broadcast receiver file ConnectivityReceiver.java was present in default package and it was not being recognized by Android. Android was looking for this file in current package i.e com.rakesh.simplewidget; I just moved connectivityReciever.java file to com.rakesh.simplewidget package and problem was solved.

  I have a main activity where I call VersionSettings vs = new VersionSettings(this); if (vs.firstRun2()) vs.versionCheckbox(); What I'm trying to do is set a checkbox (checkboxVideoType) to an unchecked state if the Android version is 1.6-2.1 I only want to do this the very first time the app is ever run, it never needs to run again. I think I'm running into the problem when the main activity calls versionCheckbox(), I get a force close if it attempts to run the code inside that is going to set the checkbox to false. I'm very new to programming and would really appreciate some help with this. I think I'm close, but need a push. Thanks in advance! They are: ldap1.mydomain.com ldap2.mydomain.com I also have a load balancer cluster with a dns name of it's own: ldap.mydomain.com The SSL certificate has a CN of ldap.mydomain.com, with SANs of ldap1.mydomain.com and ldap2.mydomain.com. Everything works... Except mirror mode replication. • Can't get my OpenVpn client to connect

  Hi Guys, I am trying to setup a test vpn between my home desktop and my laptop. So far I have got the server on the desktop to connect fine but I can not get my laptop to finish the connection. I have tried several different configurations and they all give me the same result. Obviously it has nothing to do with my Client configuration but possibly something on my laptop?   I'm setting up an SSO for Active Directory users through a website that runs on an Apache (Apache2 on SLES 11.1), and when testing with Firefox it all works fine. But when I try to open the website in Internet Explorer 8 (Windows 7), all I get is "Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.   I'm trying to use my Synology DS212 NAS box also act as VPN gateway to my companies VPN. Sadly, they only use Cisco ASA and to complicate stuff even further, we've got to use personal certificates (which is of course more secure, but more complicate to get going…). So I compiled OpenConnect v4.06 from http://www.infradead.org/openconnect/.   We're having an issue on an apache server where every 15 to 20 minutes it stops serving PHP requests entirely. On occasions it will return a 503 error, other times it will recover enough to serve the page but only after a delay of a minute or more. Static content is still served during that time.   Installed OpenLDAP 2.4 on FreeBSD 8.1. It works for ordinary connections OR for TLS connections. I can change it by (un)commenting the following lines in slapd.conf. # Enable TLS #security ssf=128 # Disable TLS security ssf=0 Is there a way to allow the clients to connect using TLS OR no-TLS? Can the ldap-server be configured to support both TLS connections and no-TLS connections? • CheckPoint/Amazon VPC VPN tunnel working inconsistently

  First time poster, so please be gentle and correct me if there's Server Fault etiquette I'm missing. We have two CheckPoint edge devices at sites A & B, independently managed, connecting to two Amazon private clouds. In both cases, the two Amazon VPCs are in the same community on the CheckPoint device. A VPN tunnel exists between the two CheckPoint devices as well. Between Sites A & B and the Amazon VPC in Northern Virigina, we are unable to keep more than one tunnel up. Both will come up, but tunnel 2 will drop an hour after initiation and will not come back up while tunnel 1 is up. We believe the 1-hour period is due to IPsec phase 2 renegotiation, but can't be sure. On our side, we see the tunnel 2 remote endpoint as not responding to phase 2 negotiation. Between Sites A & B and the Amazon VPC in Oregon, we have no issues. Both tunnels are up and fail over properly. The CheckPoint gateways are using domain-based VPNs. According to CheckPoint's advice to Amazon, this won't work. Yet, in Oregon, it does. We've pursued this with Amazon and, despite the fact it's working in Oregon, they've refused to troubleshoot with us further. Can anyone suggest anything we can do to try to get this stabilized? Going to route-based VPNs is not an option for us.

• Wireless disconnect randomly with wpa_supplicant reason=2

  I installed ubuntu-server 12.04 on my PC , and I use an usb wireless card to join the network. It works ok when I boot up my PC , but the wireless disconnects after a while. I pkill wpa_supplicant and reload the driver rtl8192cu , then it works a again. Then it disconnect again after about a random minutes. • Windows Server 2008 network speed slow, Xen 3.4.3 HVM ISO

  I've setup a VM running Windows Server 2008 on a host node running Xen 3.4.3-5 and the following kernel: 2.6.18-308.1.1.el5xen #1 SMP Wed Mar 7 05:38:01 EST 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux The network speed on the VM is very slow--using the online speed tests I can only get it up to 8-9mbps. The line is 100mbps burstable and the host node has no problem achieving those speeds. If it setup a VM running CentOS, it too has no problems achieving those speeds. I've done some pretty exhaustive troubleshooting, but nothing has helped: New VM installations of Win2k8 do have the same network problem. Upgrading to most recent kernel-xen did not help (2.6.18-308.1.1.el5xen). Upgrading from xen 3.4.0 to xen 3.4.3-5 did not help. Disabling Windows firewall, etc did not help. Changing network card device config from auto negotiation to manually be 100mbps full duplex did not help. Changing the network receive buffer packet size did not help (tried all combos from 64k to 8k). At this point I'm pretty much out of ideas--any help would be appreciated!

• can't Remote desktop to windows XP, blaming the server side

  After rebooting my work PC (windows XP sp3) this Wednesday (thank to Microsoft Tuesday), I found that I can't remote desktop to my work PC from home (with VPN to company). I have been remote-desktop to work for years and I am really surprised since connectivity is not the problem, so I brought up wireshark to sniff the packets. I can see after TCP handshake, client sent X.224 Connection Request 03 00 00 13 0e e0 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 08 00 03 00 00 00 server sent X.224 Connection Confirm. 03 00 00 0b 06 d0 00 00 12 34 00 According to "MS-RDPBCGR", the official spec on RDP, the server should include Negotiation Response in the "Connection Confirm" message but it didn't. It's empty. I googled a lot but didn't find any clue on why server did that. By the way, I used the same remote desktop client and can connect to other windows XP PC. Here are a couple of pieces of information that may help to give a clue: Since TCP handshake (server port being 3389), I believe the svchost service is actually running. going to control panel -- system window, --- "Remote" tab, the remote desktop is indeeded checked and it states that my username is allowed. according to the packet capture, client didn't even get a chance to tell server what user was trying to logon. Yes, the progress bar showed up a few seconds and then it went back to the "Remote desktop Connection" window again. Searched "windowsupdate.log", didn't find any appearance of the word "remote".

• Why is the link between my switch and my router always negotiating half-duplex mode?

  I have a Cisco 2950 switch which has one of its ports connected to an Internet router provided by my ISP; I have no access to the router configuration, but I manage the switch. If I leave all switch ports with their default setup (auto-negotiation of speed and duplex mode), this link always connects at 100 MBit/s, but in half-duplex mode. I've tried replacing the cable, and also moving the link to another switch port: the result is always the same. A different device connected to the same port (or to any switch port, really) shows no problem at all. It could be guesed that someone configured the router to only connect in half-duplex mode... BUT, here's the catch: if I manually force the switch port to full-duplex mode (duplex full in the interface configuration), the link goes up, stays up and is completely stable. So: The connection is not forced to half-duplex mode by the router, otherwise it would not connect at all if I force the switch end to full-duplex. There is no actual link problem, otherwise the full-duplex connection would not go up or would at least show some errors. But if I leave the port free to auto-negotiate, it always connects in half-duplex mode. Why?

  Main question is what I am doing wrong in my OpenSwan or L2TP client setup? I am trying to create a Linux OpenSwan VPN connection from Windows XP machine, using preshared key and the builtin Windows XP L2TP IPsec option. I have followed the instructions in Linux Home networking Wiki for setting up OpenSwan and a guide to making it work with the Windows XP client, but am now stuck. The net setup is as follows: [my windows client, private IP A]<->[f/wall B]<-internet->[g/w X]<->[Linux OpenSwan server Y] A - private subnet /24 B - internet address X - internet address /24 Y - internet address on same subnet as X What I essentially want is for computer with A address to feel and work, as if it was in X subnet for purposes of outgoing and incoming TCP and UDP connections. My OpenSwan setup is as follows: /etc/ipsec.conf (AAA and YYY indicates ip address parts of A and Y addresses): conn net-to-net authby=secret left=B leftsubnet=AAA.AAA.AAA.0/24 leftnexthop=%defaultroute right=Y rightsubnet=YYY.YYY.YYY.0/24 rightnexthop=B auto=start the secret in /etc/ipsec.secrets is listed as: B Y : PSK "0xMysecretkey" where B & Y stand for respective IP adresses of gateway B and linux server Y My L2TP WinXP setup is: IP of destination: Y don't prompt for username security options: typical, require secured pass, don't require data encryption, IPSec PSK set to 0xMysecretkey networking options: VPN Type: L2TP IPSec VPN; TCPIP protocol (with automatic IP address assignment) and QOS packet schedulers enabled The error I get from Windows client is 789: "error during initial negotiation"

  I will have two Cisco routers at Location A serving the same internal networks, and one router in location B. Currently, I have one router in each location with a IPSec site-to-site tunnel connecting them. The peer that packets are actually sent to is determined by the last peer that the router heard from (received either traffic or a negotiation request from) for a given data flow. If the attempt fails with the first peer, Internet Key Exchange (IKE) tries the next peer on the crypto map list. But I don't fully understand that in the context of a failover scenerio (One of the routers as Location A blowing up).
