    In my cshtml file I have a form named 'ApplyMedicalMain' and I want to show a dynamically loaded division when the form is dirty but its not happening even though the form is dirty ... I couldn't do this in the constructor(I tried delete[] p) because it is also called from the main function with arrays of chars as parameters which are not allocated on the heap...How can I get around this?   • Dynamic loading a class in java with a different package name

    Is it possible to load a class in Java and 'fake' the package name/canonical name of a class? I tried doing this, the obvious way, but I get a "class name doesn't match" message in a ClassDefNotFoundException. The reason I'm doing this is I'm trying to load an API that was written in the default package so that I can use it directly without using reflection. The code will compile against the class in a folder structure representing the package and a package name import. ie: ./com/DefaultPackageClass.class // ... import com.DefaultPackageClass; import java.util.Vector; // ...     Hi, im creating profile pages based on a subdomains using the wildcard DNS setting. I think its because when using header("location: http://www.domainname.co.uk"); it still puts the sub domain infront i.e. ; header("location: http://www.sub.domainname.co.uk"); Does anyone know how to sort this and/or what is the problem.   • Missing tables on Scaffold Dynamic Data page

    I created a Linq-to-SQL DBML for the first time. I dragged and dropped all my tables over to the designer. The tables all appear in the designer.cs file. In Global.asax, I also have model.RegisterContext() with the ScaffoldAllTables = true option. The routes are also setup. I can pull up the Scaffolding page, but there's at least one table that is missing that I'm trying to get to show up. This missing table has a relationship with a child table that references it. The child table appears. When viewing data for the child table, the column that references the missing/parent table shows the numeric PK int value, rather than showing the "name". So instead of showing "Cars" it shows 1, and instead of showing "Planes" it shows 2, etc. There's another table in the DB that has the same type of structure as the missing table, and it is correctly appearing in the scaffolded tables. For this missing table, I've tried explicitly adding the ScaffoldTable attribute to no avail. Does anyone know what would cause a table like this to not appear in the list Scaffolded tables?   • Possible to Dynamic Form Generation Using PHP global variables

    I am currently a fairly new programmer but am trying to build a registration page for a medical insurance idea we have which captures individual information and subsequent pieces of information about that individual's sub parts. In this case, it is a fight promoter enrolling his 15+ boxers for fight testing services. Right now, I have the site fully laid out to accept 7 fighters worth of information. This is collected during the manager's enrollment. However, each fighter's information is passed and stored in session super globals such as: $_SESSION['F1Firstname']; and $_SESSION['F3SSN3'];. The issue I am running into is this, I want to create a drop down menu selector for the manager to add information for up to 20-30 fighters. Right now I use PHP to state: if ($_SESSION['Num_Fighters'] 6) ... then display the table form fields to collect consumer data. If I have to build hidden elements for 30 fighters AND provide javascript/php validation (yes I am doing both) then I fear the file size for the document will be unnecessarily large for the maanger who only wants to enroll 2 fighters. Can anybody help?

    Hello....I have a report with 12 Tablixes on it. The user can pcik and choose which one of these Tables and their associated data shows when the Report is generated. However, when chosing a subset of the 12 tables, the report shows blank space where I hide the non-selected tablse. Is there any way to make the report resize/fit the size of the selected tables...truncating the white space where the invisible tables are? Thanks

For example, each is like that: id of element | date | text What I'm asking is the equivalent of the NSString stringWithFormat:. Can we do the same for an Mutable Dictionary? To be more practical, let's say the NSString *date is equal to "23/12/2009" (for europe). I want to create a dictionary called 23/12/2009 without declaring *23/12/2009 but just something like dictionaryWithFormat: @"%@", date]; I'm stuck on this, and I don't even know if it is possible. As well as the article context and headline and so on (fetched with a different method) - though this method also holds the authorId of the specific article.     Hello: I've been looking around for different methods of providing plug-in support for my application. Ideally, I will be creating a core functionality and based on different customers developing different plug-ins/addons such as importing, exporting data etc... What are the some methods available for making a C# application extensible via a plug-in architecture? Lets make up an example. If we have a program that consists of a main menu ( File, Edit, View, et al. ) along with a TreeView that displays different brands of cars grouped by manufacturer ( Ford, GM, for now). Right clicking on a car displays a context menu with the only option being 'delete car'. How could you develop the application so that plug-ins could be deployed so that you could allow one customer to see a new brand in the TreeView, let's say Honda, and also extent the car context menu so that they may now 'paint a car'? In Eclipse/RCP development this is easily handled by extension points and plug-ins. How does C# handle it? I've been looking into developing my own plug-in architecture and reading up on MEF.

    This is a little bit of weird problem here. Say I have a C++ code, running on a specific platform. The only purpose of this code is to run files containing binary, NATIVE to that platform. Now - my question is - HOW would I get the data from these files (could even be by bits, like 1024 bits a cycle) to the memory of machine running my code so that this data would be in the execution part? In other words, can I get the data to somewhere where I can point the instruction pointer? If yes, how? I don't mind if I have to use assembler for this - just so it would work.

I feel as if I may be misusing "live" as it doesn't really need a listener but to trigger the event immediately.

  • How to build a dynamic resize-able Flash player

    Morning stackers! So my question today isn't dealing with any code, but how to go about this the correct way from the start. I have a video player built to a static size (max: 800x600) which I'll have to re-code every time I need it to be a different size. What I need it to do in the near future is dynamically resize itself and all the elements inside of it based on 1 width variable that it will received either from HTML or XML. Now to me there are 2 ways to go about this: Start with the smallest size possible and resize upwards, but I'm unsure of how the Flash movie will actually expand upwards as of right now. Or 2, start with the largest size possible (in this case 800x600) and size everything down. Step 1, I think seems to be the better way to go about this (ala YouTube style), but Step 2 also seems like it could be the easier way? A friend of mine mentioned that I should go with the larger size and have elements resize in each class, then fix to the upper left hand corner. However for the player to fit inside of certain div columns on sites, blogs whatever he said that there will have to be an HTML/CSS side of this... meaning that the div containing the resized flash player will have to cover up the areas of the Flash movie that are not to be shown? Is that possible to put a 800x600 flash movie into a div that smaller then 800 pixels wide? And cover it up with another div? Anyways, my mission is to be able to have a dynamically sized player like this: Thoughts? Recommendations? Best practices for this before I start?

  • Placeholder containing dynamic table is empty unless I create table twice

    I am dynamically creating a table that contains a textbox in each cell. The table is put in a placeholder control. Everything displays perfectly. The problem is when I go to retrieve the values entered in the cells. I have the code to generate the table in a separate method called CreateTable(). In order for my program to find a table in the placeholder when I go to save, I have to run CreateTable() in a postback event AND in the PageLoad event. If I call CreateTable() in only one of those places and I try to save, it says the placeholder is empty and, therefore, I cannot save the textbox contents. I've tried calling CreateTable() from InitLoad but that doesn't work because it needs to reference values from three static controls: 1 dropdown, 1 listbox, and 1 calendar control, which I don't believe have had their viewstate rendered yet. Anyone have any ideas? It would sure be nice not to have to double the number of database calls just to make this work.
