I am thinking of passing different values of 'index' so that it would generate the background image dynamically. Can anyone tell me how should I pass such values from a javascript ? I am creating the tooltip using var tooltip = document.createElement("div"); document.getElementById("map").appendChild(tooltip); tooltip.style.visibility="hidden"; and I think before calling this createElement, I should set background image.

    I'm trying to generate some additional code base on the auto-generated webservice proxies in my VS2010 solution, I'm using a T4 template to do so. The problem is, automatically generated proxies are added in "Service Reference" folder but ProjectItems (files) are hidden by default and the following code does not find them in the project structure: var sr = GetProjectItem(project, "Service References"); if(sr != null) { foreach(ProjectItem item in sr.ProjectItems) { foreach(var file in item.ProjectItems) { //Services.Add(new ServiceInfo { Name = file.Name }); } } } The above code runs and although service reference is found, and there are ProjectItems under that node (named by the webservice reference name), under object under that node is of type System.__ComObject and I'm not sure how to progress. Any help is appreciated.

  • Generating two thumbnails from the same image in Django

    Hello, this seems like quite an easy problem but I can't figure out what is going on here. Basically, what I'd like to do is create two different thumbnails from one image on a Django model. What ends up happening is that it seems to be looping and recreating the same image (while appending an underscore to it each time) until it throws up an error that the filename is to big.     I have gone through many related SO threads and got some basic info. Already generated DB diagram. After that i am unable to find a button/option to generate SQL scripts (create) for all the tables in diagram. "Generate script" button is disabled, even on clicking the table in diagram. However i enabled the auto-generate option in tools-designer. But what to do with previous diagrams. I just want an easy way to auto-generate such scripts (create/alter) and would be gud if i get auto-generated stored procs for insert/selects/update etc. EDIT: I could do generate scripts for DB objects. Now: 1. How to import DB diagram from another DB. 2. How to generate (and manage their change integrated with VS source control) routine stored-procs like insert, update and select. Ok let me ask another way, can experts guide on the usual flow of creating/altering tables (across releases), creating stored-procs (are stored-procs the best way to go ?) and their change-management using SSMS design tools and minimal effort ?

  • Code generating SOAP Web Service Proxy objects yourself - C#/.NET 3.5/T4

    Is there a framework or code already available that will give me more control over the code that gets generated based off my web references? I'm working at a new company. And the Web Services Proxies are all self contained in their own assembly. I would really rather generate this whole project. Every time they change something on the Services-side (Java) the WSDL references have to be dropped and re-added. (I can't figure out what those guys are doing on their end that messes with the WSDL bad enough that this needs to be done so much) Their are 10 of these references. I'd rather codegen the whole thing at compile time. Every time. What are my options?

  • Generating cache file for Twitter rss feed

    I'm working on a site with a simple php-generated twitter box with user timeline tweets pulled from the user_timeline rss feed, and cached to a local file to cut down on loads, and as backup for when twitter goes down. I based the caching on this: http://snipplr.com/view/8156/twitter-cache/. It all seemed to be working well yesterday, but today I discovered the cache file was blank. Deleting it then loading again generated a fresh file. The code I'm using is below. I've edited it to try to get it to work with what I was already using to display the feed and probably messed something crucial up. The changes I made are the following (and I strongly believe that any of these could be the cause): - Revised the time difference code (the linked example seemed to use a custom function that wasn't included in the code) Removed the "serialize" function from the "fwrites". This is purely because I couldn't figure out how to unserialize once I loaded it in the display code. I truthfully don't understand the role that serialize plays or how it works, so I'm sure I should have kept it in. If that's the case I just need to understand where/how to deserialize in the second part of the code so that it can be parsed. Removed the $rss variable in favor of just loading up the cache file in my original tweet display code. I'm thinking it has something to do with writing a blank cache file over a good one when twitter is down, because otherwise I imagine that this should be happening every ten minutes when the cache file is overwritten again, but it doesn't happen that frequently. I made the following change to the part where it checks how old the file is to overwrite it: $cache_rss = file_get_contents('http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/75168146.rss'); if($mtime > 600 && $cache_rss != ''){ $cache_static = fopen($cache_file, 'wb'); fwrite($cache_static, $cache_rss); fclose($cache_static); } …so now, it will only write the file if it's over ten minutes old and there's actual content retrieved from the rss page. Do you think this will work?

I put a WHERE thumbNo=1 which allows the function to get 1 record. You see, I do have at least 10 records - file paths listed in that table. I just wanna ask if there's a possible way to make my SQL statement something like this: SELECT thumb FROM album; while having this piece of code inserted in my function: BitmapImage bmi2 = new BitmapImage(new Uri(r["second record?"].ToString(), UriKind.Relative)); image2.Source = bmi2; //something like this BitmapImage bmi3 = new BitmapImage(new Uri(r["third record?"].ToString(), UriKind.Relative)); image3.Source = bmi3; //something like this and so on and so forth, without ending up creating 10 different functions for 10 records.     Hi, Is there any other method than nHibernate by wich we can generate db schema from class definition? My classes arn't that complex etc (few one-to-many relations). However I would like to just be able to save my objects in db and recreate schema if needed. I am stuck with .NET 2.0. I am not that particular about performance for this project, I am just lazy to create tables and write save/load code and deel with nHibernate xml. Thanks

Let's call them functions1.php, functions2.php, functions3.php: function function_something( $atts ) { extract( something_atts( array( 'foo' => 'bar', 'bar' => 'foo, ), $atts ) ); return 'something'; } I'm loading these files within all_functions.php like this: require_once('functions1.php'); require_once('functions2.php'); require_once('functions3.php'); I'm wondering if it's possible to create an array of all these functions and their attributes? I'm thinking about something like: function my_functions() { require_once('functions1.php'); require_once('functions2.php'); require_once('functions3.php'); } And then some foreach loop, but I'm not sure how should it look like after all. I know this probably looks tricky, but I'm just curious if I'm able to list all my WordPress shortcodes without PHP's Reflection API :)

    I would like to avoid reflection in an open source project I am developing. Here I have classes like the following. public class PurchaseOrder { @Property private Customer customer; @Property private String name; } I scan for the @Property annotation to determine what I can set and get from the PurchaseOrder reflectively. There are many such classes all using java.lang.reflect.Field.get() and java.lang.reflect.Field.set(). Ideally I would like to generate for each property an invoker like the following. public interface PropertyAccessor<S, V> { public void set(S source, V value); public V get(S source); } Now when I scan the class I can create a static inner class of PurchaseOrder like so. static class customer_Field implements PropertyAccessor<PurchaseOrder, Customer> { public void set(PurchaseOrder order, Customer customer) { order.customer = customer; } public Customer get(PurchaseOrder order) { return order.customer; } } With these I totally avoid the cost of reflection. I can now set and get from my instances with native performance. Can anyone tell me how I would do this. A code example would be great. I have searched the net for a good example but can find nothing like this. The ASM examples are pretty poor also. The key here is that I have an interface that I can pass around. So I can have various implementations, perhaps one with Java Reflection as a default, one with ASM, and maybe one with Javassist? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I can't seem to get the correct Unix epoch time out of this PHP DateTime object. $startingDateTime = "2005/08/15 1:52:01 am"; $foo = new DateTime($startingDateTime, new DateTimeZone("America/New_York")); echo $foo-format('U'); which gives 1124085121 Which is Mon, 15 Aug 2005 00:52:01 GMT -500 (according to http://www.epochconverter.com/) but that's incorrect by an hour. It SHOULD be 1124088721 and spit back at me as Mon, 15 Aug 2005 01:52:01 GMT -500 Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi guys, I am trying to control a media device which has lot of multimedia content that it can play using another device(remote control device) like an ipad connected to the LAN. (UPnP) I want the media device to be able to send the content listing to the remote device so that it will be rendered as a webpage on the remote controller. And actions on the webpages needs to be sent to the the device as commands to execute (like play, pause, next etc). The media device is an embedded device, hence can't have any server side scripting, all has to be done on the client side. I want the page rendered to be HTML5. So, is it possible to generate dynamic HTML5 pages using just client side scripting? Thanks a lot. I am an embedded systems developer hence clueless about the web designing stuff.

    Instead of populating the BitmapData class from an IMAGE. I would like to (within Actionscript) GENERATE some new BitmapData by capturing the Bitmap representing say, a TextArea component on the stage. In other words, sort of take a "screen capture" or "screenshot" of one of the components, and convert that into an image. Am I silly to even wonder if such a thing is feasible? Can an Air/Flex app "look at itself" in this way? Can it turn a datagrid or a canvas or a textinput into the corresponding image AS IF via screen capture?
