    I have an ets with the next items: [at, {other_place}, me], [other_place, {place}, {other_place}]], [at, {place}, me], [on, {surface}, {object}], [small, {object}] And I have the list [[at, door, me],[on, floor, chair],[small, bannanas]] I need to compare every item in the ets table to an item in the list and if the first one is the same atom, replace the items in round brackets. So if I have [at, door, me], it matches with [at, {other_place}, me], I have to change {other_place} for the atom door in all the ets table.

    Well, the rule "For money, always decimal" isn't applied inside the Microsoft development team, because if it was: Namespace: Microsoft.VisualBasic Assembly: Microsoft.VisualBasic (in Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll) Financial.IPmt and all the other methods would receive/return decimal and not double as it is. Now I wonder if I can use this methods without worry with round mistakes? Should I use some other libraries to work with finances? If yes, could you point me some good ones (for C# use) ? Thank you.

    Hi all, I need to obfuscate a dll that is used in a ASP.NET project, the deployment project pruduces a setup.exe which I want to distribute. I have the VS 2008 Dotfuscator installed but when I build the deployment project the project that creates the dll is rebuilt before it is added to the deployment project and added to the setup.exe.     Im working on a web site that has to be reachable from many countries under the same domain. Id like to know how can I receive a request with nginx (or any other static file server), and send it to different web servers depending on IP's location. I mean, what is the point on having multiple db machines on country A and B, if the server that serves you the page is chosen by round robin. Maybe theres another solution to my problem, and I would be very happy if someone can explain it to me.

It is just showing a pin in the application with blank screen.   • jQuery find text and replace (or BBcode hack)

    Basically I am attempting to use jQuery so that it will search out text on the page and replace it with something else. For example [x]text[/x] will be converted to text which then gets converted from text to the actual html...a round about way of it I am sure but it seems to be the best way to do it given that the forum seems to understand html as plain texst anyway...but ultimately the goal is to use this jQuery to in a way create new bbcode on the forum.

    Hello all, I have this line of code which rounds my numbers to 2 decimal places. But the thing is I get numbers like this. 10.8, 2.4 etc. These are not my idea of 2 decimal places so how I can improve this: Math.round(price*Math.pow(10,2))/Math.pow(10,2); I want numbers like 10.80, 2.40 etc. Use of JQuery is fine with me.   • Workaround for stopping propagation with live()?

    I've run into the problem that has been addressed here without a workaround: I can't use stopPropagation() on dynamically spawned elements. I've tried creating a condition to exclude a click within the dimensions of the spawned element, but that doesn't seem to work at all. Here is what I got: 1) a large background element ("canvas") that is activated to be "sensitive to clicks on it" by a button 2) the canvas, if activated, catches all clicks on it and spawns a small child form ("child") within it 3) the child is positioned relative to the mouse click position. If the mouse click was on the right half of the canvas, the child will be positioned 200 pixels to the left of that spot. (On the right if the click was in the left half) 4) every new click on the canvas removes the existing child (if any) and spawns a new child at the new position (relative to the click) The problem: Since the spawned child element is on top of the canvas, a click on it counts as a click on the canvas. Even if the child is outside of the boundaries of the canvas, clicking on it will trigger the action as described in 4) again . This shouldn't happen. =========== CODE: The button to activate the canvas: $('a#activate').click(function(event){ event.preventDefault(); canvasActive(); }); I referenced the above to show you that the canvas click-catching is happening in a function. Not sure if this is relevant... I tried getting the child's dimensions and doing something like "if posClick is within this range, don't do anything" - but I can't seem to get it right. Perhaps someone has come across this dilemma before. Any help is appreciated.
