    find has good support for finding files the more modified less than X days ago, but how can I use find to locate all files modified after a certain date? I can't find anything in the find man page to do this, only to compare against another files time or to check for differences between created time and now. Is making a file with the desired time and comparing against that the only way to do this?

  • Purpose of the postfix.sendmail -n option

    I'm using a PHP librairy to send email through postfix. But i'm keep getting this message in the logs when i try to send emails : postfix/sendmail[15782]: fatal: -n option not supported I will remove this flag from my code but i'm curious about the purpose of this flag which seems to be useless (http://linux.die.net/man/1/sendmail.postfix). I can't find any information about it on google, any idea about the purpose of this option?

    I have a few MP4s that i want to upload to my flickr account but they have a maximum size of 500mb as mine is only about 550 i was planing to simply split them in half then upload them, but i want to make sure all the meta data is included but it does not seem to be. Essentially, http://example.com calls the web service to find out the location of all map markers to display like so: http://example.com/json/?zipcode=12345 And it returns a JSON string such as: {"address": "321 Main St, Mountain View, CA, USA", ...} So on my index.html page, I take that JSON string and place the map markers. However, what I don't want to have happen is people calling out to my JSON web service directly. I only want http://example.com/index.html to be able to call my http://example.com/json/ web service ... and not some random dude calling the /json/ directly. Quesiton: how do I prevent direct calling/access to my http://example.com/json/ web service?

    I have Linux installed on my harddrive, sometimes I run it as the host operating system and sometimes run it as a guest in Windows using VirtualBox. It's a nice ability, I think. I don't think it's possible with Windows though. Is it because your average distribution includes drivers for everything known to man?     I am looking to release and renew my IP address in OS X 10.4 using Terminal. Essentially, I need the OS X equivalent of Windows: C:\ ipconfig /release C:\ ipconfig /renew However, I need the interface to remain active during this process, so using ifconfig down/up will not work. I believe I can clear the IP with ifconfig delete but I'm not sure how to get the dhcp client to reassign the address. An article from 2002 suggests using set dhcp but Apple's ifconfig man page does not include this information.
