  Database .NET is an awesome tool that allow us manage several database in simultaneous (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc). What lead me to install this tool was an problem that must be shared by must developers. Tools like SQL Server Management Studio consume to many resources, and if you don't have a decent computer you'll get problems in performance, and that's my case! With Database .NET we can access an SQL Server for example, and make several actions to database (crud operations, manage procedures, etc).Of course that this tool can replace the use of SQL Server Management Studio for example!  But it's really usefull if  you just need to perform small operations because it consumes many fewer resources. This tool don't need to be installed (it can be used as an portable application). One tip: if you are using SQL Server Express for example, don't forget to check the server name in Database .NET connection. • Running Teamsite User Admin tool IWUSERADM.exe from ASP.NET

  It has really been a head scratching task for me. I 've tried many options but nothing worked. Finally I found a workaround on google to achive this by TaskScheduler. PROBLEM When we run Teamsite user administration command line tool IWUSERADM.exe though ASP.Net it gives following error: Application popup: cmd.exe - Application Error : The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application. CAUSE No specific cause, it seems to be a bug, supposed to be resolved with this Microsoft patch http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960266. and there is nothing related to permission issue, y web application is impersonated with an administrator account. off course running a bat file from dmin account is a potential secury threat but for this scenario lets conifned our discussion to run the command line tool. RESOLUTION I have not tried this patch as I have not permitted to run this patch on server. Below are the steps to achive the requirement. 1/ Create a batch file which runs the IWUSERADM.exe.         echo - Add Teamsite User    CD E:\Appli\GN00\iw-home\bin    iwuseradm add-user %1 2/ Temporarily create a schedule task and run  the .bat file by scheduled task by ASP.Net code using TaskScheduler http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/tsnewlib.aspx. 3/ Here is the function: private int AddTeamsiteUser(string strBatchFilePath, string strUser) { //Get a ScheduledTasks object for the local computer.   Are there any books/platforms for social media campaign planning and implementation that define a completely agile approach to engaging audiences on platforms such as Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc? UPDATE: Posted a bounty on the question since the current answer is really not about agile approaches to social media campaign planning and implementation. UPDATE 2: The question is asking for an agile social media approach, or a social media platform that has agile social media approach baked-in. If the question was about an agile approach to software development, SCRUM would be the most likely answer (70% percent of agile software developers say they practice some from of SCRUM), and Pivotal Tracker might be one of many agile platforms suggested; as a generalization Pivotal Tracker might be called a project management platform. On the flip-side, suggesting just a social media platform might be the equivalent of suggesting a project management platform, and suggesting I see if SCRUM works on it. Problem is that if you haven't suggested an agile social media approach to try on this social media platform, then you haven't provided an answer to the question.

  Questions here talk about most important programming skills someone is supposed to possess, and, a lot of great answers spring up. The answers and the questioners seem mostly interested on qualities related to getting a better job, nailing some interview, things desired by boss or management, or improving your programming abilities. One thing that often gets blown over is the genuine consideration for what traits peers want. They don't much value things like you're one of those 'gets things done' people for the company, or you never miss a deadline, or your code is least painful to review and debug, or you're team player with fantastic leading abilities. They probably care more if you're helpful, are a refreshing person to talk to, you're fun to program in pair with, everybody wants you to review their code, or something of that nature. I, for one, would care that I come off to my peers as a pleasurable programmer to work with, as much as I care about my impression on my boss or management. Is this really significant, and if yes, what are the most desirable traits peers want from each other.

• BPEL 11.1.1.6 Certified for Prebuilt E-Business Suite 12.1.3 SOA Integrations

  Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) integrations with Oracle E-Business Suite can either be custom integrations that you build yourself or prebuilt integrations from Oracle.  For more information about the differences between the two options for SOA integrations, see this previously-published certification announcement. There are five prebuilt BPEL business processes by Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 product teams: Oracle Price Protection (DPP) Complex Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (CMRO/AHL) Oracle Transportation Management (WMS, WSH, PO) Advanced Supply Chain Planning (MSC) Product Information Management (PIM/EGO) Last year we announced the certification of BPEL 11.1.1.5 for Prebuilt E-Business Suite 12.1.3 SOA integrations.  The five prebuilt BPEL processes have now been certified with Oracle BPEL Process Manager 11g version 11.1.1.6 (in Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA Suite 11g).  These prebuilt BPEL processes are certified with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.3 and higher. Oracle Database Mobile Server (DMS for short) provides a simple and effective way to deal with the management challenge.  DMS supports data synchronization between a central Oracle database server and data on mobile devices.  It also provides authentication, encryption and application and device management.  Finally, DMS is a highly scalable solution that can be used to manage hundreds of thousands of devices.   Here’s a simplified outline of how such a solution might work. Each device runs local sync and mgmt agents that handle bidirectional data flow with an Oracle enterprise backend, run remote commands, and provide status to the management console. For example, mobile admins could monitor multiple networks of mobile devices, upgrade their software remotely, and even destroy the local database on a compromised device. DMS supports either Oracle Berkeley DB or SQLite for device-local storage, and runs on a wide variety of mobile platforms. The schema for the device-local database is pretty simple – it contains the name of the application that’s installed on the device as well as details such as product name, version number, time of last access etc. Each mobile user has an account on the monitoring system.  DMS supports authentication via the Oracle database authentication mechanisms or alternately, via an external authentication server such as Oracle Identity Management. DMS also provides the option of encrypting the data on disk as well as while it is being synchronized. Whenever a device connects with DMS, it sends the list of all local application changes to the server; the server updates the central repository with this information.  Synchronization can be triggered on-demand, whenever there’s a change on the device (e.g. new application installed or an existing application removed) or via a rule-based schedule (e.g. every Saturday). Synchronization is very fast and efficient, since only the changes are propagated.  This includes resume capability; should synchronization be interrupted for any reason, the next synchronization will resume where the previous synchronization was interrupted. If the device should be lost or stolen, DMS has the capability to remove the applications and/or data from the device. This ability to control access to sensitive data and applications is critical in the corporate environment. The central repository also allows the IT manager to track the kinds of applications that mobile users use and recommend patches and upgrades, while still allowing the mobile user full control over what applications s/he downloads and uses on the device.  This is useful since most devices are used for corporate as well as personal information. In certain restricted use scenarios, the IT manager can also control whether a certain application can be installed on a mobile device.  Should an unapproved application be installed, it can easily be removed the next time the device connects with the central server. Oracle Database mobile server provides a simple, effective and highly secure and scalable solution for managing the data and applications for the mobile workforce.

Solving Problem: 1. Go to SharePoint Central Administration > Application Management > Content Databases (Underneath SharePoint Web Application Management). 2. Select the correct SharePoint web application – click on the name of the Content databases  - this will open the  “Manage Content Database Settings” page. 3. Make sure that the Search Server is set on the “Manage Content Database Settings” page. Hope it helps!!

• "My stuff" vs. "Your stuff" in UI texts

  When refering to a users stuff should you use My or Your, for example: My Cart | My Account | My Wishlist Or Your Cart | Your Account | Your Wishlist I found this article that argues for the use of your. It says flikr does this. It also says MySpace and MyYahoo are wrong. I also noticed today that Amazon uses the term Your. However, I have heard they are the masters at testing variations and finding the best one, so what you see on their site might be the best variation, or simply something they are currently testing. I personally like the way my looks better, but thats just my opinion. What do you think? What will hever the better impact on customers? Does it really even matter?

• System halts for a fraction of second after every 2-3 seconds

  I'm using Windows 7 on my HP ProBook 4250s. The problem I face is that my system halts for a fraction of second after every 2-3 seconds. These jerks are not letting me concentrate or work properly. This happens even when I'm just typing in notepad while no other application is running. I tried to install every driver from HP's website and there's no item in device manager marked with yellow icon.
