  • Add a build number to TFS 2010

    I have a lot of legacy Delphi 5 & 6 Code. We want to test this code using the new Microsoft Test Manager (part of VS2010) To effectively track your testing using this tool you need to use build numbers. To get Delphi 5 or 6 building in TFS Build 2010 is a huge task. One that I am not sure I want to take on. Is there a way I can just insert my build numbers in to tfs?

  • Traverse list to add elements, C#.

    I have a list of objects. Each object has an integer quantity and a DateTime variable which contains a month and year value. I'd like to traverse the list and pad the list by adding missing months (with quantity 0) so that all consecutive months are represented in the list. What would be the best way to accomplish this?   • Amazon S3 Add METADATA to existing KEY

    In S3 REST API I am adding metadata to an existing object by using the PUT (Copy) command and copying a key to the same location with 'x-amz-metadata-directive' = 'REPLACE' What I want to do is change the download file name by setting: Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=foo.bar; This sets the metadata correctly but when I download the file it still uses the keyname instead of 'foo.bar' I use a software tool S3 Browser to view the metadata and it looks correct (apart from 'Content-Disposition' being all lower case as that's was S3 ask me to sign) Then using S3 Browser I just pressed, then save without changing anything and now it works??? What am I missing how come setting a metadata 'Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=foo.bar;' from my web app does not work but does work from S3 Browser?

I am using xml source nad oledb destination My issue now is this xml file generate multiple outputs .(event,produt,offer,form) etc. But i need to write all in one data row(more than one if 2 products are there for the event) in the database. But i do not know how to use this multiple outputs and make a single row for a event. I hav read numerous articles about this subject but not able to take a decision.what is the right way of doing this. 1) xml source ?     After reading previous questions about this error, it seems like all of them conclude that you need to enable XA on all of the data sources. But: What if I don't want a distributed transaction? What would I do if I want to start transactions on two different databases at the same time, but commit the transaction on one database and roll back the transaction on the other? I'm wondering how my code actually initiated a distributed transaction. It looks to me like I'm starting completely separate transactions on each of the databases. Info about the application: The application is an EJB running on a Sun Java Application Server 9.1 I use something like the following spring context to set up the hibernate session factories: <bean id="dbADatasource" class="org.springframework.jndi.JndiObjectFactoryBean"> <property name="jndiName" value="jdbc/dbA"/> </bean> <bean id="dbASessionFactory" class="org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.LocalSessionFactoryBean"> <property name="dataSource" ref="dbADatasource" /> <property name="hibernateProperties"> [hibernate properties...] </property> <property name="mappingResources"> [mapping resources...] </property> </bean> <bean id="dbBDatasource" class="org.springframework.jndi.JndiObjectFactoryBean"> <property name="jndiName" value="jdbc/dbB"/> </bean> <bean id="dbBSessionFactory" class="org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.LocalSessionFactoryBean"> <property name="dataSource" ref="dbBDatasource" /> <property name="hibernateProperties"> [hibernate properties...] </property> <property name="mappingResources"> [mapping resources...] </property> </bean> Both of the JNDI resources are javax.sql.ConnectionPoolDatasoure's. They actually both point to the same connection pool, but we have two different JNDI resources because there's the possibility that the two groups of tables will move to different databases in the future. Then in code, I do: sessionA = dbASessionFactory.openSession(); sessionB = dbBSessionFactory.openSession(); sessionA.beginTransaction(); sessionB.beginTransaction(); The sessionB.beginTransaction() line produces the error in the title of this post - sometimes. I ran the app on two different sun application servers. On one runs it fine, the other throws the error. I don't see any difference in how the two servers are configured although they do connect to different, but equivalent databases. So the question is Why doesn't the above code start completely independent transactions? How can I force it to start independent transactions rather than a distributed transaction? What configuration could cause the difference in behavior between the two application servers? Thanks.

    I have a problem where I need to display a lot of forms for detail data for a hierarchical data set. I want to display some relational fields as labels for the forms and I'm struggling with a way to do this in a more robust way. Here is the code... class Category(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=160) class Item(models.Model): category = models.ForeignKey('Category') name = models.CharField(max_length=160) weight = models.IntegerField(default=0) class Meta: ordering = ('category','weight','name') class BudgetValue(models.Model): value = models.IntegerField() plan = models.ForeignKey('Plan') item = models.ForeignKey('Item') I use the modelformset_factory to create a formset of budgetvalue forms for a particular plan. What I'd like is item name and category name for each BudgetValue. When I iterate through the forms each one will be labeled properly. class BudgetValueForm(forms.ModelForm): item = forms.ModelChoiceField(queryset=Item.objects.all(),widget=forms.HiddenInput()) plan = forms.ModelChoiceField(queryset=Plan.objects.all(),widget=forms.HiddenInput()) category = "" < assign dynamically on form creation > item = "" < assign dynamically on form creation > class Meta: model = BudgetValue fields = ('item','plan','value') What I started out with is just creating a dictionary of budgetvalue.item.category.name, budgetvalue.item.name, and the form for each budget value. This gets passed to the template and I render it as I intended. I'm assuming that the ordering of the forms in the formset and the querset used to genererate the formset keep the budgetvalues in the same order and the dictionary is created correctly. That is the budgetvalue.item.name is associated with the correct form. This scares me and I'm thinking there has to be a better way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Each time I try to call the ListChildren method I get an insuffient permission exception.     I have been wrestling this issue for a while now and cannot seem to get the following "touchesEnded" method to execute within a UISCROLLVIEW. I have read on many of the forums that UISCROLLVIEW will take control of all touch events unless it is subclassed, but I cannot seem to get the code right (still new to the SDK). Basically I have a scrollview made uo with several UIIMAGEVIEW's and currenlty have scrolling with paging (much like the photo app).   • Add Facebox To FullCalendar Events

    I have been trying to make the FullCalendar events use Facebox to pop up with information when they are clicked. I have no problem putting the events on the calendar or getting the information that needs to be displayed it is just getting the pop up box to work. I have tried adding rel="facebox" to both the "span" and the "a" that wraps the event title but neither seem to affect it. If anyone has tried this before or knows a possible solution I look forward to hearing from you.
