• Concatenate, sort and swap array in Java

  I am trying to concatenate two arrays into new array, sort in order, and swap two values of index. I'm kind of new to java and only use C before so having a hard time handling an Object.   I have a .net visual studio solution with a number of projects (class libraries and a web application). I did some refractoring which moved files between projects, created new projects, deleted ones not being used and renamed some existing projects. The solution builds without an issue but when I run the web application, the following exception occurs: "Could not load file or assembly 'XXX.YYY' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified." The project called XXX.YYY which was deleted in the refractoring outputed a dll called XXX.YYY. But this isnt used anywhere in the application. I deleted the web applications obj directory and bin folder and rebuild but it still occurs. Anyone have any ideas when this might be occurring, any tips??

  My server is currently running CentOS 5.2, with WHM 11.34. Currently, we're at 6.43 to 12 for a load average. The sites that we're hosting are taking a lot time to respond and resolve. top doesn't show anything out of the ordinary and iftop doesn't show a lot of traffic. • WPF 4.0 Custom panel won't show dynamically added controls in VS 2010 Designer

  I have a custom panel control that I'm trying to dynamically add controls within. When I run the application the static and dynamically added controls show up perfectly, but the dynamic controls do not appear within the visual studio designer. Only the controls placed declaratively in the XAML appear. I'm currently adding the dynamic control in the CreateUIElementCollection override, but I've also tried this in the constructor without success.   I am trying to use the DotNetOpenId library to add OpenID support on a test website. For some reason it keeps giving me the following error when running on FireFix. • How to access WCF RIA service from Windows Service?

  I have a functioning SL4 application; inside the ClientBin directory I have an .svc file that describes my service: <% @ServiceHost Service="MyApp.Services.MyServiceFactory="System.ServiceModel.DomainServices.Hosting.DomainServiceHostFactory" %> When I browse to http://localhost:52878/ClientBin/MyApp-Services-MyService.svc I see the following: "You have created a service. To test this service, you will need to create a client and use it to call the service. You can do this using the svcutil.exe tool from the command line with the following syntax: svcutil.exe http://localhost:52878/ClientBin/MyApp-Services-MyService.svc?wsdl" I want to access that service from a Windows Service application. My understanding is that I need to enable SOAP end-points in order to make this happen. So, I add the following to my web.config file: <domainServices> <endpoints> <add name="soap" type="System.ServiceModel.DomainServices.Hosting.SoapXmlEndpointFactory, System.ServiceModel.DomainServices.Hosting, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" /> </endpoints> </domainServices> Firstly, Intellisense complains about the presence of the tag, saying "The element system.ServiceModel has invalid child element domainServices." Secondly, the aforementioned Silverlight application stops working, presumably because this change breaks the underlying web services. Thirdly, it appears that the System.ServiceModel.DomainServices.Hosting assembly doesn't actually contain the SoapXmlEndpointFactory type; if I try to browse to the service after adding the above to web.config I see: "Could not load type 'System.ServiceModel.DomainServices.Hosting.SoapXmlEndpointFactory' from assembly 'System.ServiceModel.DomainServices.Hosting, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35'." If I inspect the assembly using Reflector, I see that it contains the DomainServiceEndpointFactory and PoxBinaryEndpointFactory types, but no SoapXmlEndpointFactory. Could someone please let me know what I'm doing wrong? I can't believe that it should be this hard to simply consume a WCF RIA service in something other than a Silverlight application!   I created a database with aspnet_regsql, the database was created in sql sever 2008 and not in data folder in my project (do I need to move it to the folder manually?). Next, in Web Site Administration Tool I went to provider section and clicked don Test button. I got an error: Could not establish a connection to the database. If you have not yet created the SQL Server database, exit the Web Site Administration tool, use the aspnet_regsql command-line utility to create and configure the database, and then return to this tool to set the provider. Maybe I need to set something in a web.config, like membership settings or connection strings (or ASP.NET Website Administrator Tool should create those settings for me)? Update: Maybe it happens because I am using SQL server 2008 full and not express? Update 2: After setting membership section and connection string to my aspnetdb database in Web Site Administration Tool I've opened security-Security Setup Wizard-Define Roles (stage 4) I got this error: An error was encountered.   I am trying to create a WiX custom action which will allow me to shutdown and clear down a COM+ package as part of an upgrade installation, or create and configure a new COM+ package as part of the initial installation. I previously had this running as a CustomAction within a standard Visual Studio MSI but this only allows the custom action to be executed after the files have been copied - which will fail as the package will still be running. The COMAdmin.dll has been added as a reference to the CustomAction project and is set CopyLocal=true. In the bin folder for the custom action project the Interop.COMAdmin.dll is present. The answer to this question seems to suggest that it should work.   Hi there, my goal is to secure the communication between MSMQ Queue Managers – I don’t want unknown clients sending messages to my MSMQ server. I have spent many hours now trying to get Transport security working for the net.msmq binding in WCF, where MSMQ is in Workgroup mode and the client and server do not have Active Directory… so I’m using certificates. I have created a new X.509 certificate, called Kristan and put it into the “Trusted people” store on the server and into the My store of Current User of the client. The error I’m getting is: An error occurred while sending to the queue: Unrecognized error -1072824272 (0xc00e0030).Ensure that MSMQ is installed and running. If you are sending to a local queue, ensure the queue exists with the required access mode and authorization. Using smartsniff, I see that there’s no attempted connection with the remote MSMQ, however, it’s an error probably coming from the local queue manager. • Disable Razors default .cshtml handler in a ASP.NET Web Application

  Does anyone know how to disable the .cshtml extension completely from an ASP.NET Web Application? In essence I want to hijack the .cshtml extension and provide my own implementation based on a RazorEngine host, although when I try to access the page.cshtml directly it appears to be running under an existing WebPages razor host that I'm trying to disable. Note: it looks like its executing .cshtml pages under the System.Web.WebPages.Razor context as the Microsoft.Data Database is initialized.   I have a set of existing WCF services hosted in a .NET 3.0 app. They're using the WSHttp bindings and no security. I need to connect to these from a .NET 3.5 client. This seems to be working fine for the one-way services, but I also have some callback services (with CallbackContract and SessionMode = Required, using WSDualHttpBinding); these fail to connect with a timeout somewhere in the ReliableSession code. The service side cannot be changed (it's a historic version issue). Can I modify something on the client side to get this working? (I can connect with a .NET 3.0 client just fine, but I'd rather not be forced to try that path.) The open operation did not complete within the allotted timeout of 00:00:09.9410000. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout. • XML deserialization doubling up on entities

  I have an XML file that I am attempting to deserialize into it's respective objects. It works great on most of these objects, except for one item that is being doubled up on. Here's the relevant portion of the XML: <Clients> <Client Name="My Company" SiteID="1" GUID="xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx"> <Reports> <Report Name="First Report" Path="/Custom/FirstReport"> <Generate>true</Generate> </Report> </Reports> </Client> </Clients> "Clients" is a List<Client> object. Each Client object has a List<Report> object within it. The issue is that when this XML is deserialized, the List<Report> object has a count of 2 -- the "First Report" Report object is in there twice. Why? • DomainContext class is not created in a RIA services class library solution

  I have created a RIA services class library project and things are not going as I expected. The problem is that when I add domain service classes to the server project, the corresponding domain context classes are not generated on the client project. I start by creating a new project of type WCF RIA services class library. The generated solution has two projects: RIAServicesLibrary1 (the Silverlight class library project) and RIAServicesLibrary1.Web (the class library that will hold the services). Then I add a new project item to RIAServicesLibrary1.Web of type DomainServiceClass. I add a sample method so that the resulting class code is: namespace RIAServicesLibrary1.Web { using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.ComponentModel; using System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations; using System.Linq; using System.ServiceModel.DomainServices.Hosting; using System.ServiceModel.DomainServices.Server; // TODO: Create methods containing your application logic. [EnableClientAccess()] public class DomainService1 : DomainService { [Invoke] void DoSomething() { } } } Then I generate the whole solution and... nothing happens on the client project. The Generated_Code folder is empty, and the domain context object for the service is not here. Funny enough, if I add a new item of type Authentication domain service, it works as expected: the file RIAServicesLibrary1.Web.g.cs is created on the client project, containing the AuthenticationDomainService1 class as expected. So what's happening here? Am I doing something wrong? Note: I am using Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate RTM and WCF RIA services 1.0.

  Hi, It seems the universe is against me this week. I have been happily coding away on my ASP.Net application for weeks now without issues. Today I tried to add a textbox to a form, and on saving the form, I received the following error: Generation of designer file failed: Cannot use a leading .. to exit above the top directory I googled, but with no luck. I did find a blog post that shows how to add a key into the registry so that Visual Studio logs more detail about these errors, and the following is what shows up in the generated log file: ------------------------------------------------------------- C:\[path to aspx file]\PageName.aspx Generation of designer file failed: Cannot use a leading .. to exit above the top directory. ------------------------------------------------------------- System.Web.HttpException: Cannot use a leading .. to exit above the top directory. at System.Web.Util.UrlPath.ReduceVirtualPath(String path) at System.Web.Util.UrlPath.Reduce(String path) at System.Web.Util.UrlPath.Combine(String appPath, String basepath, String relative) at System.Web.VirtualPath.Combine(VirtualPath relativePath) at System.Web.VirtualPath.Combine(VirtualPath v1, VirtualPath v2) at System.Web.VirtualPathUtility.Combine(String basePath, String relativePath) at Microsoft.VisualStudio.Web.Application.Parser.BeginParse(String virtualPath, String text) at Microsoft.VisualStudio.Web.Application.Generator.UpdateDesignerClass(String document, String codeBehind, String codeBehindFile, String[] publicFields, UDC_Flags flags) ------------------------------------------------------------- And, of course this means that there is no way I can reference the newly added text box from the code behind.   I removed all the 'add' elements in the compilation/assemblies element. The project file still has all the references I removed, but this section appears to be unused during compilation (inside visual studio). What is going on?
