  The short version: is there a way to to write an "and" clause in a batch file? The slightly longer version: I've inherited a Visual Studio project that creates a dll and then copies that dll to another location. As a post build step, VS runs the following script. if not '$(ConfigurationName)' == 'DebugNoSvc' goto end xcopy /Y $(TargetDir)*.config $(ProjectDir)..\myService\bin\Debug xcopy /Y $(TargetDir)*.config $(ProjectDir)..\myService\bin\DebugNoSvc :end It looks like there's a problem when the project is compiled as Debug, since it doesn't do the copy (I'm guessing that at some point the middle section got updated, but the if clause didn't.) Is there an easy way to an "and" clause in batch?

• Winform datagridview selection is wrong after editing.

  I am using a winform datagridview. The datagridviews datasource is a binding source. The gridview is using the CellEndEdit event to update the datasource. The datasource gets updated and the follwing property is set: public List<Collection> Collections { set { this.SubjectCollectionDOBindingSource.DataSource = value; } } If I end the cell editing with the 'enter' key, all works as expected. If I end the edit by clicking another cell, the data is updated as expeceted but subsequent clicks on cell columns do not correspond with the highlighted cell: ie the highlighted cell is the previously clicked cell. What steps are considered best practice when updating a gridview so that when all is said and done it is in the desired state?

I have a RadGrid populated with data from the database. When User adds a new item to the grid,I want to do some processing in the back end and then inform the user of what could result and give him/her the choice to continue and believe that a message box or modal popup/radalert is the best way to do it, but how do I create the message in the back end and then using a popup, display the message and block until user responds.   I have a Ruby method that searches an array of hashes and returns a subset of that array. def last_actions(type = 'all') actions = @actions if type == 'run' actions = actions.select {|a| a['type'] == "run" } end return actions end This works, except when there is only one action to return, in which case I don't think it is returning an array with one element, but just the element itself. This becomes problematic later. What's a good way to ensure it returns an array of 1 element in this case? Thanks.

Even if I put the line of code lblEmpl.Visible=true at the top of the click event the line executes fine, but the page is never updated. How can I fix this?

It will be initialized with information in the params hash if the params hash exists. Otherwise, it will check the sessions hash for the information. Finally, it will initialize with defaults if neither params nor session has the data it needs. • Human readable URL causes a problem in Ruby on Rails

  I have a basic CRUD with "Company" model. To make the company name show up, I did def to_param name.parameterize end Then I accessed http://localhost:3000/companies/american-express which runs show action in the companies controller. Obviously this doesn't work because the show method is as following: def show @company = Company.find_by_id(params[:id]) end The params[:id] is american-express. This string is not stored anywhere. Do I need to store the short string (i.e., "american-express") in the database when I save the record? Or is there any way to retrieve the company data without saving the string in the database?

  As an input I have a photo of a simple symbol, e.g.: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nrmsvfd0le0bkke/symbol.jpg I would like to detect the straight lines in it, like points of start and ends of the lines. In this case, assuming the top left of the symbol is (0,0), the lines would be defined like this: start end (coordinates of beginning and end of a line) 1. (0,0); (0,10) (vertical line) 2. (0,10); (15, 15) 3. (15,15); (0, 20) 4. (0,20); (0,30) How can I do it (pereferably using OpenCV)? I though about Hough lines, but they seem to be good for perfect thin straight lines, which is not the case in a drawing. I'll probably work on binarized image, too.

  In OCaml 3.11, I want to "extend" an existing module using the include directive, like so: module MyString = struct include String let trim s = ... end No problem. But now I want to expose this module's type explicitly (i.e. in a .mli file). I want something like this: module MyString : sig include String val trim : string -> string end But the include syntax is not correct because String refers to a module, not a module type (and the compiler does indeed barf). How can I refer to the module type for String here (without having write it out explicitly in a sig expression)? Thanks!

It never occurs on ActiveCell.Validation.Delete which I find weird? I have been all over google trying to find a solution, and most suggest that it is caused by running dynamic validation code from a button which hogs focus despite the Activate call, but I am running on sheet change event rather than on button press so I don't think this is my issue - any ideas? I've wasted basically a whole day on this! :(

  Dictionary<string, int> testdic = new Dictionary<string, int>(); testdic.Add("cat", 1); testdic.Add("dog", 2); testdic.Add("rat", 3); testdic.Remove("cat"); testdic.Add("bob", 4); Fill the dictionary and then remove the first element. Then add a new element. Bob then appears at position 1 instead of at the end, therefore it seems to remember removed entries and re-uses that memory space? Is this documented anywhere because I can't see it on MSDN and has caused me a day of grief because I assumed it would just keep adding to the end.

  Hi all I would like to append a value at the end of my numpy.array. I saw numpy.append function but this performs an exact copy of the original array adding at last my new value. I would like to avoid copies since my arrays are big. I am using resize method and then set the last index available to the new value. Can you confirm that resize is the best way to append a value at the end? Is it not moving memory around someway?   Hi, I'm trying to make a custom gridview in WPF but I just realized that as this link says: The GridViewHeaderRowPresenter class performs layout for the column headers in a GridView and places an additional column header at the end to add space and because of the additional column header at the end, there's an extra column to the right of the last column. so I was wondering if I can modify it, please refer to this image below My questions are: Is there anyway I can remove the 'A' part from the grid? Is there anyway I can add the same effect of 'B' part (the role = padding header) to the 'C' Part (before the first column)? Thanks
