  My webapp is trowing these exceptions intermitently ever since we migrated to Mono + Apache: The error sounds more like a problem reading/processing some assembly, so I was wondering if I should be worried that there might be a problem with the hard-drive? • Function returning dictionary, not seen by calling function

  Hi There, I have an interesting problem, which is a function that returns a Dictionary<String,HashSet<String>>. The function converts some primitive structs to a Dictionary Class. The function is called as follows: Dictionary<String, HashSet<String>> Myset = new Dictionary<String,HashSet<String>>(); Myset = CacheConverter.MakeDictionary(_myList); Upon execution of the two lines above, Myset is non-existent to the debugger. Adding a watch results in: "The name 'Myset' does not exist in the current context" public Dictionary<String, HashSet<String>> MakeDictionary(LightWeightFetchListCollection _FetchList) { Dictionary<String, HashSet<String>> _temp = new Dictionary<String, HashSet<String>>(); // populate the Dictionary // return return _temp; } The Dictionary _temp is correctly populated by the called function and _temp contains all the expected values. The problem seems to be with the dictionary not being returned at all. Examples I could find on the web of functions returning primitive Dictionary<string,string> work as expected.

  Hi. I'm fairly new to jQuery. I have a Jquery datepicker in a user control. I have added a "disable" property to the datepicker. Whenever I save the page(having this usercontrol) the datepicker with disable set to true is empty. All other datepickers save fine. Here is my code. • Why is my GUI unresponsive while a SwingWorker thread runs?

  Hello, I have a SwingWorker thread with an IOBound task which is totally locking up the interface while it runs. Swapping out the normal workload for a counter loop has the same result.   I've got an app, written in Obj-C. The info.plist has a list of file types that the app can open. I'm pretty sure that this is working because when I try to drag a file of an unacceptable type, the app doesn't highlight, but when I drag a file of an acceptable type, it does highlight, and lets me drop. When I drop, the app starts up, correctly, however, then I get a dialog saying: The document "foo.tiff" could not be opened. DocView cannot open files in the "TIFF File" format. The two overloads of EncryptPasswordAndDoStuff take all the same parameters except for the first parameter, which can either be a string or a SecureString. So method1 and method2 are pretty much identical, they just call different overloads of EncryptPasswordAndDoStuff. Any suggestions? New contacts are added by pressing an appropriate button and they appear as an entry in the list on the form. I try now to add an edit button that will edit existing entries. User will select a given entry on the list and press edit button and will be presented with an appropriate form (AddContFrm). Right now it simply adds another entry with the same title. Logic is handled in a class called Contact.vb Here is my code. • get_bookmarks() object doesn't return link_category

  I'm trying to fetch all link-categories from the built in Wordpress linklist (or bookmarks if you will). • Refactoring two methods down to one

  I have two methods that almost do the same thing. They get a List<XmlNode> based on state OR state and schoolType and then return a distinct, ordered IEnumerable<KeyValuePair<string,string>>. I know they can be refactored but I'm struggling to determine what type the parameter should be for the linq statement in the return of the method (the last line of each method).   First, this question centers around a home network. Is it okay to ask here? Or should I go to SuperUser? (I see less answers over there, but I'll go there if that would be more appropriate.) Network setup: 1 Machine running XP Pro 1 Machine running Win7 Ultimate Comcast router Linksys WRT610N Wireless router The Win7 machine goes into a total, unrecoverable system freeze frequently. I was tearing out my hair trying to ascertain a cause, but I noticed that it usually seems to correspond with performing operations on the shared folders on the XP machine. The last 2 occasions that the Win7 machine froze, I saw this entry for Event ID 8003 from source MrxSmb in the Event log of the XP machine: The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer WIN7_COMPUTER that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{320B32A7-FED9. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced. My question is twofold: Could this cause a Win7 system freeze? If so, what could I configure differently on my network to stop these conflicts over who is the master browser? Thank you for your help!
