  I'm creating a VB.NET application that includes two radio buttons inside of a groupbox. If the first radio button is selected, a certain tab on a tab form should be enabled. If the second radio button is selected, that tab should be disabled. Is there a groupbox method that monitors both radio buttons and fires when the selection changes? Or do I need to set up individual methods for each radio button?

If I implement Forms-Based Authentication on the 10 pages, will it also spread across the public part of the website too? i.e. changes in web.config.   I have a page that scrolls through images, some taller than the others. When a tall image loads it auto-creates a scrollbar in the browser window, causing a width jerk. Is there a way to load a scroll bar regardless of if it is needed, and when a tall image apears it activates itself accordingly, then deactivates its self accordingly when the image changes to a shorter image?   My manager has asked me to assess what changes would be required to add multicast support to a socket-based TCP/IP networking program that is part of a trading system. As far as I can tell, from the perspective of a Java program, it doesn't seem to matter too much whether the program is unicast or multicast. Doesn't the Java networking API make all of this transparent? By this I mean, wouldn't the change be a simple one of simply adding additional destinations for the outgoing connections?

  Hi As i know, all the threads share memory location. For example a global variable changes in one thread will reflect in another thread. Since each thread has its own stack, the local variables that are created inside the thread is unique. In this case, why do we need to go for thread specific data mechanism?. I'd like to ask the question "have I checked in changes in my local repo since my last hg push?" without having to access the remote repo.
