• .net compact framework backward compatibility 3.5 and 2.0

  Do I need to install .net 2.0 on the device, where .net 3.5 is installed? So far my application works on .net 2.0 (which potentially should be faster) but the long term plan is to port it to .net 3.5. I need to order devices and the OEM needs to know which version of .net should be add to Windows CE image (version 5.0). Shall I ask him to add both .net 2.0 and .net 3.5 ?

• How to identify where (external) units are used in a Delphi XE2 project

  I use JCL Project Analyser to see what units are used in my project, in order to 'clean' it. But, for big projects, I don't really see the dependencies beause I see the units names but not where they are used. I used Map file but with no success. Is there any free tool for having used units AND where they are used ? I tried GExpert Project Dependancies without succes : Example : I have JCLInifiles in Project Analyser but I don't see it in GExpert Project Dependancies.

  I'm performing a SQL query through hibernate, which looks like: SELECT thi FROM track_history_items thi JOIN artists art ON thi.artist_id = art.id WHERE thi.type = "TrackBroadcast" GROUP BY art.name ORDER thi.createdAt DESC but I'm getting the message that 'Node to traverse cannot be null!'. Anyone know what could be causing this? --EDIT-- I'm pretty sure that this problem is being caused by the possibility of artist_id to be null. However, I can't prevent this, so can I just skip the rows track_history_item rows which have a null artist_id?

As long as lines of text remain intact, I the order of the lines does not matter. In UNIX, can I just pipe the output of each process to the same file using the operator?

• System.Web.UI not available in console app?

  Hey everybody, Im trying to write a quick console app that outputs data to an HTML file, however im having trouble accessing the System.Web.UI namespace. Adding System.Web to my references places a warning icon on top of the reference name in the solution explorer and System.Web is not available in the .NET reference list (in order for me to actually add it to the project I have to go to the object browser and add it from there). Anybody have any ideas about what I could be missing? Thanks alot people!

In order to do so I use a small python-script that pulls the html-code of the page, but after that I have to execute the JavaScript in a DOM-context which seems pretty hard. To make it even harder I want to use it in a server environment that has no X11-server. Note: I already read about http://code.google.com/p/pywebkitgtk/ but it seems to need a X-server.

This means that clients of the app need to install Visual Studio, or the standalone TFS object model in order to use the application. So, by gods grace every thing has gone well but when I try to update data to DB2 database through JDBC code then I am getting an SQL DB error as :: DB2 SQL error: SQLCODE: -204, SQLSTATE: 42704, SQLERRMC: DB2ADMIN.REGISTER where register is my table name and even i logged in as db2admin but i think there is no connectivity established but still its not resolved
