• Why isn't pyinstaller making me an .exe file?

  I am attempting to follow this guide to make a simple Hello World script into an .exe file. I have Windows Vista with an AMD 64-bit processor I have installed Python 2.6.5 (Windows AMD64 version) I have set the PATH (if that's the right word) so that the command line recognizes Python I have installed UPX (there only seems to be a 32-bit version for Windows) and pasted a copy of upx.exe into the Python26 folder as instructed. I have installed Pywin (Windows AMD 64 Python 2.6 version) I have run Pyinstaller's Configure.py. It gives some error messages but seems to complete. • iPhone Table View Cell Image: Working on simulator, not showing on real device

  Hi, I have a UITable View that displays an image in the left hand side of the table cell, and it works fine in the simulator. Only problem is, once I ran it on my device no images appear. At first 3 did, but then I "cleaned headers" and now none appear. Have checked that images are added to resource folder for build (which they are) and that capitals etc. match (which they do). Any ideas? Thanks.   I have a website http://fewbs.com. I have a shortcuts (bookmarks) section onto the left. Here I provide menus and submenus and drag and drop of shortcuts and menus. Though I have been able to do it in IE and FF but its not working for opera and chrome. In IE it works by default, in FF by using -moz-user-focus: ignore; -moz-user-select: none;. Can anyone suggest how may I be able to achieve the same in opera and chrome?

• Building java project with TFS

  A very small portion of our codebase is some legacy Java code. I'm trying to add a new build that would invoke ant to build this project. The first problem is that TFS doesn't allow you to create a build that doesn't build a .Net solution. I got around this by copying a previous build file and adding an EndToEndIteration task which is the entry point for the build. The problem is that none of the usual build variables are populated - $(BuildDirectory), $(SolutionRoot) - all blank. This pretty much means I can't invoke my ant task without hardcoding the paths (which I definitely can't do). Any ideas?

  Hello SO, I have a very weird problem with PROLOG. I have used it before, but it's been a while and I'm rusty. I have a list of variables and I need to ensure that none of them are the same. I have tried: use_module(library(bounds)). all_different(A, B, C, D, 6, 8). However, when I try this, I get an error saying that all_different/6 is undefined. How can I go about solving this issue? Is there any library function that I can call directly for this? I am VERY stuck and would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

I did every thing I am required to do for upgrading and when I start the rails server using rails server it gives me this Please switch to Ruby 1.9's standard CSV library. It's FasterCSV plus support for Ruby 1.9's m17n encoding engine. I am using ruby-1.9.2-p0 and have fastercsv (1.5.3) gem installed. with the help of puts statements, i was able to track down where the error occurred. i found that the execution stops at this line Bundler.require(:default, Rails.env) if defined?(Bundler) in application.rb file. I tried many things but none worked .. please help..

The long versions all work.   I'm loading an external script (that creates a new window component) into a panel, which works fine. Now, I want to access the created window from a callback function to register a closed event handler. I've tried the following: panel.load({ scripts: true, url: '/createWindow', callback: function(el, success, response, options) { panel.findByType("window")[0].on("close", function { alert("Closed"); }); } }); However, the panel seems to be empty all the time, the findByType method keeps returning an empty collection. I've tried adding events handlers for events like added to the panel but none of them got fired. So the question is: how do I access the window in the panel to register my close event handler on it?

Ironically, EVERY browser on the PC supports window.onload= if you don't mind clobbering existing events. But no go on iPad.

• Cache Refresh in Chrome

  I dunno what exactly it's called, by cache refresh I mean, refresh the page after clearing its cache. I don't want to clear the entire browser cache. I prefer Chrome's Dev panel against firebug... don't ask me why. But I can't seem to cache refresh my pages. In FF, I know it to be Shift+Refresh. In chrome, I've tried Ctrl+R, Ctrl+Refresh, Alt+Refresh, Shift+Refresh but none of them work. EDIT: I got a Notable Question Badge for the lamest question I've ever asked. FML.

Unfortunately this doesn't worked correctly. It scrolls down, but not always, and not always to the bottom. Any hints?

  Hi there, I'm considering writing a custom IPermission implementation but am not clear as to how it should work. I've already implemented IPrincipal and IIdentity. What I would like to accomplish is to be able to check permissions vis a vis the current IPrincipal's authorizations rather than its roles. Generally, authorizations are read/add-delete/update/none for a given type. So I would like to write something like this: [CustomPermission(SecurityAction.Demand, Type = typeof(Foo), MinimumAuthorization = AuthorizationFlags.Read)] public void SomeMethod(){} Is this possible? I've looked over the code at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.security.ipermission.aspx. This shows how to implement the interface, but I don't understand how the above pseudo-code would be able to check against the IPrincipal's authorizations for the type. However, apparently due to a namespace issue none of my Xpath expressions resolve.My form works fine on a simple instance when the instance file has no namespace. However, I need the namespace support. My instance file has a namespace "ai:inventory." I am referencing the instance data Where should I be declaring the prefix "ai" for my namespace so that my XPath expressions can find the appropriate elements? /ai:inventory/products ? • PHP Include Windows XP Notepad++ Editor - Nav Include Not Working - Nav Disappears

  I am creating a website, and have a tabbed horizontal menu. In order to cut back on the number of files I have to edit when I have to make changes to the menu I want to put the navigation in a separate file that I can call using a PHP include statement. When I do this, however, the nav disappears entirely from the page. The rest of the content remains, and there are no error messages. I have been looking for answers for this for weeks, and have tried every version of the PHP include statement that I could find. None of them worked. This was the last attempt. I have the file "nav.php" in a folder named "includes" in a main dir called "testsite" I use Windows XP, use NotePad++ as my text editor, and have been testing in Firefox. I can't find an answer anywhere - any help would be appreciated. Lorianna

• Javascript Bookmarklet fails in IE8

  Anyone want to take a stab at why this bookmarklet fails in IE8? It turns all text uppercase in Friefox and Safari. But in IE8, it simply stalls with "loading..." I've enabled scriplets and the security settings in IE8. • Hiding a dropdown menu without it flashing with prototype

  I have a number of dropdowns and divs that are hidden when the page loads and can be toggled with a click or mouseover, but some of them flash b/c the javascript does not run in time. I have their display initially set to block and then I use javascript/prototype to find the element and hide it. I have tried loading these "hider" functions using dom:loaded but there is still flashing. This is an example of a dropdown prototype initialization funtion. • Pass a variable to a Symfony Form

  Hi, I am building a web application using Symfony 1.4 and Doctrine for a school and I want to make a very simple form to add a course to a student. The main problem I have is that in the drop down list I only want to show the courses in which the student is currently not enrolled. I already have a function in the model (in Student.class.php) which returns all the courses in which the student is not enrolled but the problem is I don't know how to pass the student to the configure() of the form. I have tried several options like passing it with the constructor of the form to a global variable or a special set method but none of them have worked. Is there any form to pass the student to the configure() method? Thanks!

• Paging over a lazy-loaded collection with NHibernate

  I read this article where Ayende states NHibernate can (compared to EF 4): Collection with lazy=”extra” – Lazy extra means that NHibernate adapts to the operations that you might run on top of your collections. That means that blog.Posts.Count will not force a load of the entire collection, but rather would create a “select count(*) from Posts where BlogId = 1” statement, and that blog.Posts.Contains() will likewise result in a single query rather than paying the price of loading the entire collection to memory. Collection filters and paged collections - this allows you to define additional filters (including paging!) on top of your entities collections, which means that you can easily page through the blog.Posts collection, and not have to load the entire thing into memory. So I decided to put together a test case. However, b.Posts.Skip(0).Take(5) just grabs all Posts for Blog.Id = ?id, and then LINQ on the application side is just taking the first 5 from the resulting collection. What gives?
