  • firefox extension and ie8 plugin compatibility

    hi, im a bit new at extension development, but im about to embark upon a project to build a ffox extension. Does anyone know if its possbile, with minimal adaption, to make a firefox extension compatible with ie8 as a plugin and if so, are there any caveats i should be aware of? I guess its just javascript code wrapped around the ffox or ie8 wrapper, but would really appreciate to learn from someone who has experience. Cheers Ke

    hi, i'm just trying out nokogiri xml builder, but am having some problem tying to unescape the content. have been spending a bit of time googgling but so far can't find the answer. any help would be greatly appreciated. #build xml docoument builder = Nokogiri::XML::Builder.new do |xml| xml.root{ xml.node { xml.value "text1 & text2" } } end puts builder.to_xml output i'm get is "text1 &amp text2" but i want it to be "text1 & text2"

This program can then optimize the input properties based on the output values of your algorithm. I don't really like template systems that force you to make use of another language just to make it easier for designers (apparently). I am bit confused on how to keep track of selected item(of that collection) and pass that to client. Any ideas?     I have an entity context that includes three tables (see diagram here). The first is a table that contain products, the second contains recipes. The joining table has fields for IDs in both the products and recipes table as well as a 'bit' field called 'featured'.   • Catching a python app before it exits

    I have a python app which is supposed to be very long-lived, but sometimes the process just disappears and I don't know why. Nothing gets logged when this happens, so I'm at a bit of a loss. Is there some way in code I can hook in to an exit event, or some other way to get some of my code to run just before the process quits? I'd like to log the state of memory structures to better understand what's going on.

    Hi, I tried to use this logic http://www.databasejournal.com/features/msaccess/article.php/3752701/Secure-Microsoft-Access-Passwords-and-Encryption-in-Access-2007.htm I have an existing access database 2007, i want to encrypt it, when i tried to implement the 128-bit from the above link, unfortunately when i open the DB in notepad i don't see Microsoft cryptographic 1.0 encryption although i followed the exact steps.   • Apache HttpClient CoreConnectionPNames.CONNECTION_TIMEOUT does nothing ?

    Hi, I'm testing some result from HttpClient that looks irrational. It seems that setting CoreConnectionPNames.CONNECTION_TIMEOUT = 1 has no effect because send request to different host return successfully with connect timeout 1 which IMHO can't be the case (1ms to setup TCP handshake???) Am I misunderstood something or is something very strange going on here?   • What code have you written with #pragma you found useful?

    I've never understood the need of #pragma once when #ifndef #define #endif always works. I've seen the usage of #pragma comment to link with other files , but setting up the compiler settings was easier with an IDE. What are some other usages of #pragma that is useful, but not widely known? Edit: I'm not just after a list of #pragma directives. Perhaps I should rephrase this question a bit more: What code have you written with #pragma you found useful?
