As a Java developer, I've been eyeing C# with envy, but am unwilling to give up the portability and maturity of the JVM, not to mention the diverse range of tools for it.     I am getting confused with this plug in. basically my target is to Deploy files from Server1 to Server2 now the buildoutput dir is in a specific location in Server1 example E:\BuildOutput\Apps\Application1\Bin\ I need to deploy them in Server2 C:\Program Files\Tools\Application1\Bin\ How do I set up this plugin to work to what i need? I am getting stressed in the amount of files that needs to be deployed to another server, i just wished a simple xcopy tool to another server could work.

Must haves: Recursive FTP backups Possible to run through a cron job Easy to configure (easy adding of multiple sites) Local storage of backup files is sufficient Would be nice: Backed up sites are stored as zip files A nice interface to manage things Provides notification when backup has succeeded or failed Does incremental backups Does MySQL Database backups I need this to be PHP (or Perl) based because it's going to be used on shared hosting packages that do not allow usage of the standard GNU/Linux tools available.

    Hi, I started to use SysInternals suite, and it is great. But I wonder, whether there is any analog of TCPvcon, which allows to logon to remote machine, like psexec does, and then get list of TCP connections from there (similar to pslist functionality), and then to close some of connections (similar to pskill functionality). I am speaking about windows console tools and I would like to avoid installing something on remote machine is this is possible.

    Hello, I'm a little afraid of using Wordpress because of his connotation "all made", plus my website is 100% hand coded, actually, i use the phpBB but it's not what I want cause visitors have to go out of the website to go to the forum to see the news. So how/what can I do to have my own news system management (publish/review/moderate comments).... Are there tools (i mean except WYSIWYG) / PHP class I can use to implement myself ?   • ASP.NET MVC image upload store location (db vs filesystem)

    I am writing web application using ASP.NET MVC + NHibernate + Postres stack. I wonder if images uploaded should be stored in database as binary blobs or on filesystem (and reference only in db). One advantage of db storage I can think of is easy backup/recovery of all data without reverting to filesystem copy tools. On the other hand I suspect that filesystem access may be faster (but is it especially when dealing with many concurrent requests?) What are your suggestions?

  • What can you do in C without "std" includes? Are they part of "C," or just libraries?

    I apologize if this is a subjective or repeated question. It's sort of awkward to search for, so I wasn't sure what terms to include. What I'd like to know is what the basic foundation tools/functions are in C when you don't include standard libraries like stdio and stdlib. What could I do if there's no printf(), fopen(), etc? Also, are those libraries technically part of the "C" language, or are they just very useful and effectively essential libraries?

    I'm trying to customize the Standard Toolbar in VS2010 to add Open Project (on the File menu), but it's not available.. Steps: Tools Customize... On the Commands Tab, select Toolbar, then Standard from the list Click Add Command... button Select File in the list and no Open Project ??? Can't seem to find it anywhere else either. Any idea, or how else to add it? Thanks!
