    I've windows server that goes live on internet, (e.g. www.mysite.com). Then I want to create another site with different port (e.g. www.mysite.com:502). I've create that and it works when I access it on local network, but when I access it from outside of local network (internet) the www.mysite.com:502 can't accessed but the www.mysite.com can accessed. what should I do to make www.mysite.com:502 goes online? I use windows server 2008 standard

  • Chrome Countdown Extension [migrated]

    I have modified this countdown script to countdown to 4:20pm everyday. I have attempted to create a Google Chrome app that displays the countdown. The javascript is supposed replace a paragraph tag with id of "note" with the time left. It works when I load the page in chrome, but does not work when I load the extension. Example, if I put: <p id="note">asdf</a> I get just the text, "asdf", but when I open the html file I get the countdown.     You ever try to implement something simple but for some strange reason it doesn't work. So you try a possible solution but then something else doesn't work. You keep trying different workarounds but every time something different isn't working. Every time you get one step closer you also get one (or more) step farther from solving this problem and its now been 3 hours when this should have taken you 10 minutes. And it still isn't solved. There is no one in your company who can help, and you are about to put your fist through your screen. At this point you are so frustrated you can no longer think about the problem clearly. What should you do at this point? Or what can you do to avoid reaching this point?

    New here, I did my research and found nothing, but sorry if it has already been asked. As webmasters should be let google and other search engine INDEX our member's dashboard and edit account page. For example my member John has access to a page name "Edit your account" where he can fill some fields and updates his info. Or another pages where John can manage his posts (edit, delete) Such pages have no interest to the other people so should be let google and others INDEX it or should we NOINDEX it ?     I am giving the player an instanced class of UTWeap_RocketLauncher in an instance of UTGame. PlayerPawn.CreateInventory(class'FobikRocketLauncher',false); // Does not work PlayerPawn.CreateInventory(class'FobikLinkGun',false); // Works Even if I give the original class (eg. UTWeap_RocketLauncher) it does not actually show up. However if I do a "GiveWeapons" cheat, I get it just fine. It also works if I had code it into the map. - But UTWeap_LinkGun works fine either way. Any ideas? It shows the default ammo amount, and the icon on the HUD.

    I did send out an Outlook vote to hundreds of employees, using their email address (which is mostly firstname.lastname@company.com, but there are many exceptions). The incoming votes are not matched against the email address, but against the display name. Unfortunately, the display name has no real standard either. So instead of seeing this: John.Doe@abc.com Voted: Yes Mary.Doe@abc.com Voted: No I see this: John.Doe@abc.com Mary.Doe@abc.com Doe, Johnathan Philip Voted: Yes Doe - Peeters, Marian Voted: No In the actual list I see the addresses that I sent the vote to PLUS extra lines with the votes that came back. Is there a quick way to match my "send" list with the "received" list? One thing I thought of was to dump the global address book in a file and in Excel use =vlookup. But that seems a lot of work (and I am not even sure that I have the authorization to dump the address book).

    I am installing a script (that I bought on cpanel) in the root directory of my web site. When I try to install it, it gives me an error. I found that it starts an infinite URL redirect loop containing the name of my web site. Something like: install//mywebsite.com/install=mywebsite.com/install=mywebsite.com/install=mywebsite.com etc. until the browser refuses to continue when URL gets too long. The vendor told me I need to have mod_rewrite installed on my cpanel and something about .htaccess. How do I do fix this?

    I recently installed the latest Ubuntu update on my laptop and since then, the alignment on the browser is messed up, the mouse is not working, and I can't connect to the internet. Before it was working perfectly. Any ideas on what to do? Thanks for any feedback FYI: I am right now using windows since I have both linux and windows on my laptop. Also, when booting I do have the option to boot previous ubuntu versions, when I boot the previous unbuntu version on my laptop, everything works accept except the internet. (the mouse works, alignment is proper)

  • No sound in 12.04 on VirtualBox

    No sound when installed in VirtualBox. When I boot from the live CD in Windows, sound works fine on my speakers. When in boot the live CD in VirtualBox it does not see my speakers. In sound properties only digital output built in S/PDIF and headphones! I've done the pavcontrol - alsamixer - all settings are OK. I've tried both 32/64 versions of Ubuntu. Running current version VirtualBox. System: Windows 7 64 - i5. What am I overlooking?

    So the story is simple, early stage EU portal hired me to do some extra modules. I got all the source code for local testing, did my job, committed new code. Now I am out of this project but client still haven't paid me yet and he is not even thinking about that. It has been couple of months and no contract was signed so I can't take any legal actions. What should I do with all the source code? Sell it? Run exact copy of that portal? Make all portal publicly available?

  • I need a form to tie MySQL Records together.

    I need a HTML-based form to tie database records together. The user scenario that I envision is somthing like this: A super-user does a search of the database and is delivered a table of records based on that search; each record is numbered with the database-record id. There would also be two text fields next to each record. These text fields would allow: the user to make a reference from one record to another. For example, a user could enter into record id #457 the integer 242 to indicate that there is a correlation with record ID #242. The user would also describe the type of relationship it is. This could be accomplished with a simple integer in the second field that indicates the type of relationship between the two records. When the super-user hits the submit button, all of these relationships are saved in a mySqljoin table. One option is to give me advice on how to implement and code this myself in PHP. However, before I reinvent the wheel, another option is to lead me to a free script that does something similar.
