• Is it possible to dedicate the physical screen of a vmware server machine to a guest vm graphically?

  I have a vmware server 2.x running on ubuntu server (8.04). So the graphics card and the screen of the physical box are unused (I log in remotely and the host os has only the cli console installed). I wonder if it is possible to assign this graphics card to a virtual machine directly and use it for the gui of this guest? Or maybe if I add a second graphics card to the machine?

• iTunes can't see iPhone after reinstalling Leopard

  My Mac hard disk died, so I replaced it and installed OS X Leopard 10.5.8. Problem now, iTunes doesn't see my iPhone 3GS at all. iPhoto works just fine, but iTunes is blind. I have too much info on my iPhone, I don't wish to restore/reset it and wish to get everything from my iPhone sync'd into iTunes afresh. How can I do that?

  I have a windows domain environment and it contains only Server 2008 Os's. I'm trying to execute a script or a program from 1 server on multiple servers, but I can't configure or install any applications. I was trying to user powershell v2.0 (invoke-command) but its not configured and I cant configure it. I'm looking for an alternative maybe WMI. Psexec and rcmd are not installed on any servers. Any advise could help a lot.

  Hi all iMac 24" Late 2006 Mac OS X (10.6.3) I'm trying to install Bootcamp. I've partitioned my HD but when I reboot with the Windows installation disk I get a black (blank) screen. The advice from the Apple Support website is to install the MXM Update but when I run that as per the instructions I get this error: An unexpected error occurred (11.1). Your firmware cannot be updated. Any ideas on how to proceed? Thanks.

  We have a database server with separate drives for OS, various data files and the transaction log. Our transaction log spills over onto other volumes as well- this is expected behavior. The problem is that we are constantly getting popups that our transaction log drive is out of space (and that I can free space by deleting old or unnecessary files).   Certain letters are suddenly showing up as fractions in Mac's Mail program. Specifically, lowercase a = 1/2 lowercase b = 1/4 lowercase c = 3/4 Capitalized, they work fine, the other keys are working fine, and this only happens with this particular program, but I can't figure out what to change or what's wrong. It's Mac OS X 10.4.11 and an update was applied last night but other than that nothing's been changed (that I know of, I'm asking for someone else). Thanks.
