Is there a way around this? Thanks a bunch in advance.

So I've been using Remote Desktop to log onto the server and then trigger an update (we use Tortoise SVN). Is there an existing tool (or SVN feature) that would allow me to trigger this update without logging on to the server and doing it manually?

    Hi, Due to the lack of Deployment functionality of Visual Studio Express edition, I'm here asking if anyone can recommend a very nice free Deployment template for the express edition. I'm mainly working with C# desktop project. I know that there is still ClickOnce deployment in the Express edition, but it seems to me that it is not so difficult to control, which means, you do "click once", then the tool will give you a bunch of files out of my control, not so easy to maintain.   • RoR app running on mongrel development but not production

    Hello all, This is my first stab at Ruby on Rails. Just deployed a very simple app to Heroku. The thing is that my app runs flawlessly on mongrel development; When I run it with "mongrel_rails start -e production" however, I get the error "We're sorry, but something went wrong." For the life of me, I couldn't debug this. Heroku logs is not returning anything, the Exceptional addon in Heroku is not returning anything, and I cannot find mongrel.log on my Windows machine (when I run mongrel using: mongrel_rails start -e production -d" I'm using Rails 2.3.5 and sqlite3 with bundler to pack my gems. I was told that probably rails is not booting up correctly. I can't find any other way to diagnose this. Any ideas? Thanks, ANaimi

  • How to change granted role temporarily to achieve "view the site as" someone else

    Hi Gurus, We are using 2.x spring security right now. I am asked to build an admin tool so that the ROLE_ADMIN can change to any user in the site and view the site as that person (each person on the site may see different stuff depending on the role which is dynamically granted base on the database) and of course the admin should be able to switch back to admin without logging in. Is there a build in function, if not how should I do this? Thanks in advance!

    i want 3 components laid out on 2 lines, so that the bottom component and the top-right component use all available horizontal space. And preferably one that can be configured to either handle or ignore certain vendor specific primitives like LUT's, PLL's, etc. I recently tried verilator-3.810, but out of the box it needs a little help with the primitives. So what (linting) tools do you use to deal with the not-so-strict syntax of verilog?

    I have service hosted in IIS5.0 and configured such way : ** <behaviors> <endpointBehaviors> <behavior name="GalleriesBehavior"> <webHttp/> </behavior> ** When I make request to http://localhost/sandboxWidget/Galleries.svc?Test ,the message I get is : "Metadata publishing for this service is currently disabled." and instructions how to expose meta data exchange...Tried this but doesn't help.. I can write any function name ,even not existing (http://localhost/sandboxWidget/Galleries.svc?blabla) ,but the message is same .... I'm new to Wcf ,but what looks me strange is that ,the same application was working in my job environment ,but not on my home PC .... I have same VS2008,NET3.5 with service pack 1
