    I have a customer call detail table in which call details of all customer stored. I have to find out the distinct aparty (means our customer ) who only calls our customers (means bparty also be our numbers) . There is no other domestic call , International calls made by A party (our customer) in this case. could you people please help me to find the same data.   • Login fails after upgrade to ASP.net 4.0 from 3.5

    I cannot log in using any of the membership accounts using .net 4.0 version of the app. It fails like it's the wrong password, and FailedPasswordAttemptCount is incremented in my_aspnet_membership table. (I am using membership with mysql membership provider.) I can create new users. They appear in the database. But I cannot log in using the new user credentials (yes, IsApproved is 1). One clue is that the hashed passwords in the database is longer for the users created using the asp.net 4.0 version, e.g 3lwRden4e4Cm+cWVY/spa8oC3XGiKyQ2UWs5fxQ5l7g=, and the old .net 3.5 ones are all like +JQf1EcttK+3fZiFpbBANKVa92c=. I can still log in when connecting to the same db with the .net 3.5 version, but only to the old accounts, not the new ones created with the .net 4.0 version. The 4.0 version cannot log in to any accounts. I tried dropping the whole database on my test system, the membership tables are then auto created on first run, but it's still the same, can create users, but can't log in.

    Can anyone please, oh sweet pain, please take me out of my misery by writing a simple example on how the heck you pass a number (int value) which gets created in 1 .m file to another .m file. In the apple demo application called QuartzDemo, there is a file called QuartzImages.m This file has the following line of code: [CODE]CGPDFPageRef page = CGPDFDocumentGetPage(pdf, 1);[/CODE] Notice the (pdf, 1) in that line. This number should be replaced with an integer variable. Now, there is also a file called MainViewController.m. In that file, there is a method? called -(void)viewDidLoad In that method, I want to assign a number to the integer variable which would replace the damn "1" with whatever number I want. I have been pulling my hair trying to get this done, reading beginning iPhone 3 Development book, dev documentation and God knows what not, without results. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Sigh.

    We're seeing strange behavior when running two versions of a query on SQL Server 2005: version A: SELECT otherattributes.* FROM listcontacts JOIN otherattributes ON listcontacts.contactId = otherattributes.contactId WHERE listcontacts.listid = 1234 ORDER BY name ASC version B: DECLARE @Id AS INT; SET @Id = 1234; SELECT otherattributes.* FROM listcontacts JOIN otherattributes ON listcontacts.contactId = otherattributes.contactId WHERE listcontacts.listid = @Id ORDER BY name ASC Both queries return 1000 rows; version A takes on average 15s; version B on average takes 4s. Could anyone help us understand the difference in execution times of these two versions of SQL? If we invoke this query via named parameters using NHibernate, we see the following query via SQL Server profiler: EXEC sp_executesql N'SELECT otherattributes.* FROM listcontacts JOIN otherattributes ON listcontacts.contactId = otherattributes.contactId WHERE listcontacts.listid = @id ORDER BY name ASC', N'@id INT', @id=1234; ...and this tends to perform as badly as version A.   • SVN - When you tag a working copy is it still a cheap copy?

    Using Subversion, in my working copy I make a minor modification (update a version number). I would then like to tag my working copy. Would this tag still be a cheap copy with the modification, or would SVN duplicate the files? I would hate to see my repository grow enormously in size because I'm trying to save a version number change. The reason I ask about creating a tag that contains a modification rather than committing then tagging involves my build server. The build server creates a CCNetLabel which I use to update the version numbers of my projects (AssemblyInfo.cs). When the build is successful it creates a tag. When I use ForceBuild the tag is based on the working copy which would contain the modified version number. I want the tag to contain the appropriate version number. note: It's debatable if I'm creating a branch or a tag, however SVN does not make a distinction between the two.

    I have an existing Scala application and it uses case classes which are then persisted in MongoDB. I need to introduce a new field to a case class but the value of it is derived from existing field. For example, there is phone number and I want to add normalised phone number while keeping the original phone number. I'll update the existing records in MongoDB but I would need to add this normalisation feature to existing save and update code. So, is there any nice shortcut in Scala to add a "hook" to a certain field of a case class? For example, in Java one could modify setter of the phone number.

    In SQL Server 2005 tablename can be used to distinguish which table you're referring to: UPDATE LinkedServer.database.user.tablename SET val=u.val FROM localtable u WHERE tablename.ID=u.ID In SQL Server 2000 this results in Server: Msg 107, Level 16, State 2 The column prefix 'tablename' does not match with a table name or alias name used in the query. Trying UPDATE LinkedServer.database.user.tablename SET val=u.val FROM localtable u WHERE LinkedServer.database.user.tablename.ID=u.ID results in Server: Msg 117, Level 15, State 2 The number name 'LinkedServer.database.user.tablename' contains more than the maximum number of prefixes. The maximum is 3. And, of course, UPDATE LinkedServer.database.user.tablename SET val=u.val FROM localtable u WHERE ID=u.ID results in Server: Msg 209, Level 16, State 1 Ambiguous column name 'ID'. (In fact searching on "The number name contains more than the maximum number of prefixes. The maximum is 3." I found the answer, but I've typed up this question and I'm going to post it! :-) )

    hey regex guru's I have a data column that contains a substring similar to this: 'This is a string with ID=123 contained inside' i need to replace the ID=123 with another fixed string say ID=1 i have a working REPLACE call that swaps out the values correctly, but this only works on a known original id number. I can extend to make it work when the number of digits are known by using some substr magic, however, the id number may have an arbitrary number of digits, so i'm thinking regex. any help with the regex magix to grab the entire ID=999 substring no matter how many digits would be very helpful. thanks

    Hi I need to read different values stored in a file one by one. So I was thinking I can use ifstream to open the file, but since the file is set up in such a way that a line might contain three numbers, and the other line one number or two numbers I'm not sure how to read each number one by one. I was thinking of using stringstream but I'm not sure if that would work. The file is a format like this. 52500.00 64029.50 56000.00 65500.00 53780.00 77300.00 44000.50 80100.20 90000.00 41000.00 60500.50 72000.00 I need to read each number and store it in a vector. What is the best way to accomplish this? Reading one number at a time even though each line contains a different amount of numbers?

Oracle silently allows this without any error. What is the reason for this behaviour?.   • Correct answer will not output

    I made a program that returns the sum of all primes under 2 million. I really have no idea what's going on with this one, I get 142891895587 as my answer when the correct answer is 142913828922. It seems like its missing a few primes in there. I'm pretty sure the getPrime function works as it is supposed to. I used it a couple times before and worked correctly than. If $value = 3, that means that 600851475143 / 3 should be an integer, but its not. So I do not understand why that if() evaluates to true?

  • Scanning FedEx labels into a visual basic program

    I have a program that has tracking numbers entered into it and it stores them in a database and i would like to add a scanner to the mix. The scanner is acting like a keyboard and scannes just fine, the problem is scanning a FedEx number gives a 32 digit number and i am only iterested in the tracking number portion of it. I saw an example on the web for an excel macro and tried to modify it but it doesnt seem to work. Is there something i could do to just get the 12 digit number? This is what it looks like so far.     In cases where order does matter, it's rather easy to generate the matrix of all possible outcomes. One way for doing this is using expand.grid as shown here. What if it doesn't? If I'm right, the number of possible combinations is (S+N-1)!/S!(N-1)!, where S is the number of dice, each with N sides numbered 1 through N. (It is different from the well known combinations formula because it is possible for the same number to appear on more than one dice). For example, when throwing four six-sided dice, N=6 and S=4, so the number of possible combinations is (4+6-1)!/4!(6-1)! = 9!/4!x5! = 126. How can I generate a matrix of these 126 possible outcomes?     Let's say that there is a file that contains an unsorted list of student information, which includes a student ID number as well as other information. I want to make a program that retrieves student information based on student ID number. In order to make it efficient, I store the student IDs in a B-tree. So when I enter a student ID number, it searches the B-tree to see if its there or not. It also does one more thing. If it finds the student ID number, then it also returns where in the file that student's information is. This is the secondary key. The program uses this information to locate the rest of the student's information and prints it to screen. Can this be done? Is this how a b-tree works?
