    I'm trying to send an image file through a TCP socket in C, but the image isn't being reassembled correctly on the server side. I was wondering if anyone can point out the mistake? I know that the server is receiving the correct file size and it constructs a file of that size, but it isn't an image file.   • Grouped table with image in first row (and section), the remaining ones having text with different l

    Hi I have a grouped table with two sections where I display text with different length and therefore cell height. I have solved the problem with the different length/height with constrainedToSize in cellForRowAtIndexPath. Now I want to add a section with one single row in which I want to show a picture. How should I best implement that? (still a bit of a beginner with the Objective C) I would guess that I would have to create an UIImageView and somehow link that to the cell, but my biggest concern is how do I do with the dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier now that I will have two different type of cells? Appreciate any advice that will help me save time from trial and error!

    I have been fiddling with this code for a few days. Mind you I am a beginner. I just want to get my script to be able to download a remote file, and scan MineCraft plugins. I got the scan plugins to work, but I'm having two other issues.   • Uploadify Not Working

    Hello, I'll re-edit this to tackle the uploadify issue. Its very strange, essentially the script isn't uploading and isn't triggering onAllComplete. Also if I try to upload an image that's to large, and click Upload files, it skips from 0 to 100%. But does not trigger onAllComplete. It does not upload either. Whats strange, is I have an earlier revision of this and the codes no different and it works, ive tried switched back to the same jquery/uploadify/layout and it still doesnt work. However due to the nature of uploadify not being very forthcoming about errors or whats going on, I can't figure out where its going wrong!   • Error when trying to deploy Windows XP SP3 with WDS

    I have created a WDS server running Windows Server 2008 R2. I have built my custom images of Windows 7 using WAIK and MDT 2010 that are installed on the server. I used this guide to help me through the process. The Windows 7 images that I have created capture and deploy properly. I am attempting to follow the same steps from the guide I linked to capture and deploy a Windows XP SP3 image. I am able to sysprep and capture the reference machine with no errors. I am then able to import the custom .wim that I just captured in to MDT 2010 with no issues either. However when I try to deploy this image to a test virtual machine I get the following error: Deployment Error: I have made sure that the .iso that I am importing the source files from originally to create the sysprep and capture sequence is indeed a Windows XP SP3 iso. When I first select a PE boot environment before I deploy I select the x86 PE boot image that I created originally when making this for my Windows 7 deployments. Could this be the issue? If so how do I make a boot image specific for Windows XP SP3 deployments? I have Googled around for this error and some places point to the deployment image not being able to find setup.exe and other important system files for installing the operating system. If so, how do I add these to the image? Any ideas?

    I've installed statusnet 0.9.1 on a Windows Server via the WAMP stack and on the whole it seems to be fine. However, when logging in using IE7 or Chrome the browers invoke a file download, i.e. the File Download dialog is displayed.   • Strange activity in My Pictures folder: Thumbnail doesn't match actual picture.

    After finding an amusing picture on a popular imageboard, I decided to save it. A few days past and I was browsing my images folder when I realised that the thumbnail generated by Windows XP in the thumbnails view did not match the actual image. Here is a comparison image: What's even stranger in this situation is that the parts of the photograph that are different have actually been replaced with what might be the correct background. Furthermore, it is a jpeg (no PNG transparency tricks) that is 343 kilobytes but only 847x847 pixels wide. What could be going on here? Could there be anything malicious in the works, or hidden data? Before anyone asks, I have checked and preformed the following: Deleted Thumbs.db to reload thumbnails. Opened image in different editors. (they appear with the text) Moved image to a different directory. Changed the extension to .rar. All these steps produce the same results. Pre actual posting update: It seems that opening the image in paint, changing the image entirely (deleting entire contents and making a red fill) will still generate the original thumbnail, even after deleting Thumbs.db etc. I'm also hesitant to post the original data, in case there is something malicious or hidden that could be potentially illegal. (Although it would be very beneficial to see if it works on other computers and not just my own).

    I have a CENTOS6 server running with some wordpress & tomcat websites. In the last two days it has been crashing continuously. After investigation we found that kernelupdates binary consuming 100% cpu on server. Process is mentioned below. ./kernelupdates -B -o stratum+tcp://hk2.wemineltc.com:80 -u spdrman.9 -p passxxx But this process seems invalid kernel update. Might be server is compromised and this process is installed by hacker, So I've killed this process & removed apache user's cron entries. But somehow this process started again after couple of hours & cron entries also restored, I am searching for the thing which is modifying cron jobs. Does this process belong to a mining process? How can we stop cronjob modification and clean the source of this process?     I have successfully implemented expires headers however, for several days I have been stumped by one thing. This article: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/how-to-add-far-future-expires-headers-to-your-wordpress-site-1533 states Keep in mind that when you use expires header the files are cached in the browser until it expires so do not use this on files that changes frequently. Other sites indicate the same in my reading. But this doesn't seem to be true. I have updated an image, using the same name, several times. Each time I update and refresh my browser, the new image (with the same name) displays. I understand from this article that the old image should display unless I use a new name. Do you happen to know where the misunderstanding is?   • how do you view / access the contents of a mounted dmg drive through TERMINAL hdiutil diskmount

    My external USB drive failed. I made a .dmg image file of the drive using disk utility. Later I was not able to mount the .dmg image. I used terminal hdiutil attach -noverify -nomount name.dmg diskutil list diskutil mountDisk /dev/disk4 then received the following message: Volume(s) mounted successfully However, I cant see the drive or access its contents through Finder. DUtility shows the drive as ghost but I still cant mount it using diskutility. Terminal tells me that the drive is mounted and constantly shows it in the diskutil list. pwd is not the mounted .dmg image. I dont know how to enter into the mounted image drive to see its contents. So in case what I said sounds like I see the files in the mounted image no this is not the case. I do not know how to access or even change the pwd within Terminal. I was hoping to see the mounted drive tru finder but I do not see that. So I need help as to how to find a way to access the mounted image drive if it was really mounted. Terminal says that it was and it shows it under diskutil list as a /dev/disk4. Can someone please help me access the files on this drive?

    After finding an amusing picture on a popular imageboard, I decided to save it. A few days past and I was browsing my images folder when I realised that the thumbnail generated by Windows XP in the thumbnails view did not match the actual image. Here is a comparison image: What's even stranger in this situation is that the parts of the photograph that are different have actually been replaced with what might be the correct background. Furthermore, it is a jpeg (no PNG transparency tricks) that is 343 kilobytes but only 847x847 pixels wide. What could be going on here? Could there be anything malicious in the works, or hidden data? Before anyone asks, I have checked and preformed the following: Deleted Thumbs.db to reload thumbnails. Opened image in different editors. (they appear with the text) Moved image to a different directory. Changed the extension to .rar. All these steps produce the same results. I selected "Installer disc image," and it came up and said that it would use "Easy Install," I think I hit next, and then I went back changed my mind, and selected "I will install the operating system later." After finishing the wizard, I think it still went and ran Easy Install, because it auto-installed VMware tools and I never got to select anything for my windows setup. Then, when it was finished, all the hardware changes I had made were lost. The RAM was changed from 2 GB back to the default of 1 GB, my CD ROM drive was set back to "Use a Physical Drive" and "Connect at Power On", and the Floppy Drive was also set to "Connect at Power On", after I disabled them. I was trying to install Windows 7, and I wasn't sure if I could change the RAM settings after installation without needing to reactivate it, so I deleted the VM and tried to start over. This time, the "Installer disc image" had my Win7 image pre-selected, so I clicked "I will install it myself later," set my hardware again, and tried to boot off my CD. Again,it did an Easy Install, and reset my RAM and my drive settings. So I deleted it again and the third time it still had the Win7 image pre-selected, but this time I unplugged all the drives and let it try to boot off the empty harddrive and fail, and made sure it kept all my hardware settings. Then, I powered it off, put my Win7 image in the guest CD ROM, and powered it on. This time it finally let me run the installer and pick my language, and type a user name. This time when I powered it off it kept my hardware settings. I can duplicate the error by doing exactly the steps above. Creating a new VM, selecting my "Installer Image," hitting next, going back, selecting "I will Install it myself," and then finish the wizard, and customizing my hardware right before the end, setting the CD Rom drive to the same installer media, and setting "Connect on Power On." (If I start it without the CD ROM in the first time, it doesn't do it). When I power on, I'm not prompted for any install information (like language and user name), and when it runs the first timemy hardware choices are reset (like the RAM back to 1 GB).     I have a TeX file, which is typeset by XeLaTeX. The file has \includegraphics{coverimage.eps} on the first page, and coverimage.eps is located in the same directory as the TeX file. OS: MacOS 10.6.5, TextMate 1.5.10, xelatex 3.1415926-2.2-0.9997.4 (TeX Live 2010) If I run xelatex doc.tex in console, file compiles without errors, and eps file is included. The exact command line that TextMate uses is: xelatex -interaction=nonstopmode -file-line-error-style -synctex=1 But it works from console too. If I convert the image to pdf (and fix the .tex file accordingly), typesetting from TextMate works too. I tried running rungs with parameters specified in the error message, and got valid .pdf file with image as a result. I compared .log files from typesetting in TextMate and in console, they are absolutely identical except for this error message (in particular, version of xelatex is the same). Does anyone know what can cause this? Please tell me if you need any additional information. Thank you in advance.
