    I have two classes, call them Monkey and Banana, with a one-to-many bidirectional relationship. Monkey monkey = new Monkey(); Banana banana = new Banana(); monkey.Bananas.Add(banana); banana.Monkey = monkey; hibernateService.Save(banana); When I run that chunk of code, I want both monkey and banana to be persisted. However, it's only persisting both when I explicitly save the monkey and not vice versa. Initially, this made sense since only my Monkey.hbm.xml had a mapping with cascade="all". <set name="Bananas" inverse="true" cascade="all"> <key column="Id"/> <one-to-many class="Banana"/> </set> I figured I just needed to add the following to my Banana.hbm.xml file: <many-to-one name="Monkey" column="Id" cascade="all" /> Unfortunately, this resulted in a Parameter index is out of range error when I tried to run the snippet of code. I investigated this error and found this post, but I still don't see what I'm doing wrong. I have the relationship mapped once on each side as far as I can tell.   • how to configure jetty 7 to use syslog or log4j

    I am looking for a way to direct all the jetty 7 logging to syslog. My current configuration dumps everything to JETTY_HOME/logs/.. After some initial ivestigation, it seems I should change JETTY_HOME/etc/jetty-logging.xml, but this does not look straightforward. It looks like I should create a new PrintStream implementation which sends its output to syslog and redirecting stderr and stdout to that class in jetty-logging.xml. any easier way to do that or to make jetty log directly to log4j ? In this web service I am using the built-in functions provided by the namespaces using OPC, using OPCDA, using OPCDA.NET. I have also added the namespace using System.Windows.Forms in this web service so that I can use the windows form control. In that we service I have created on web method which takes the parameter of type windows form control as given below. public void getOPCServerItems(TreeView tvServerItems, ListView lvBranchItems) { ArrayList ArrlstObj = new ArrayList(); ItemShowTreeList = OpcSrv.ShowBrowseTreeList(tvServerItems, lvBranchItems); ItemShowTreeList.BrowseModeOneLevel = true; // browse hierachy levels when selected. (default) ItemShowTreeList.Show(OpcSrv.ServerName); } In the above web method I need to pass the values to the built-in function ShowBrowseTreeList() (found in OPC, OPCDA, OPCDA.NET namespaces). This function takes the two parameter of windows form control type. These parameters are Treeview & ListView control of the windows form. In the above web method ShowBrowseTreeList() method automatically create the treeview & listview structure of the available items. Now as I am consuming the web service so I need to pass the values to the webmethod getOPCServerItems(). But as I my consuming application is asp.net application there is no such windows form control. In asp.net application there are also & control. I want to display The data returned in these asp.net controls rather than windows form control. I am not getting the way what should I need to do or how should I pass the values form my client application to this web service ? In the above method getOPCServerItems() when I use the parameter of type treeview & listview it generate s error "Cannot serialize member System.ComponentModel.Component.Site of type System.ComponentModel.ISite because it is an interface.". Can you provide me the the way In which I can write the above web method & how should I pass parameter to the Treeview & Listview control (windows form control) from my asp.net application ? which controls I should use to pass parameters ? Is there any need to do any type of casting ? Can you provide me the the code for above web method so that I can resolve the above issue ?

  • http_post_data adding extra characters in response

    Hey Guys I am getting some extra characters like '5ae' and '45c' interspersed along with valid data when using http_post_data. The data I am sending is XML and so is the response. The response contains these weird characters thats making the XML invalid. If I use fsockopen I do not have this issue. Would really like some input on this.

  • Serializing data from a RSS feed in ASP.NET/C#

    I'd like the user to specify a RSS feed address and serialize the information from it. I am not interested in the XML format, but populate a strongly typed object from the XML. My question is, is there a standard that all RSS feeds support (Do all of them have date, title etc)? If so, is there a XSD that describes this. If not, how do I handle serializing a RSS feed to an object in ASP.NET?

    Hi everyone, I'm implementing a Logger, based on a XML declaration (path to class, method name, custom log message). There is also a Logger interface that defines the function __call, the latter logs what's needed and then relays the call to the target method. The only difficulty is to make each class, declared in the XML file, implement this interface with __call. So finally my question: is there a way to set at runtime the parent class or the implemented interface of another class ? Thanks in advance ! Rolf

  • Trying to setup android sdk on PC with windows XP

    When I start setup I get this message: XML verification failed for http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml. Error: cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'sdk:sdk-repository'. Failed to fetch URL reason: Unknown Even when I force the download to use http nothing happens. I get no downloads etc for the SDK. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I would like CruiseControl.Net to fail a build when some code metrics change in a 'wrong' direction, i.e. code coverage decreases or Gendarme defect count increases. The Gendarme metrics are already tracked in report.xml file (because they are presented on web dashboard graphs), the code coverage is only reported on build status page (and saved in build report xml). How can I achieve this?

    Hi, I receive HTTP PUT requests on a server and I would like to redirect / forward these requests to an other server. I handle the PUT request on both server with PHP. The PUT request is using basic HTTP authentication. Here is an example : www.myserver.com/service/put/myfile.xml redirect to www.myotherserver.com/service/put/myfile.xml How can I do this without saving the file on my first server and resending a PUT request using CURL?     I have found some broken threads across the web where people claim to be able to use receive shapes in an orchestration with XLANGMessage types to receive flat file schema files that could not be assembled into a specific xsd. I've attempted to set the messagetype in the receive shape as Microsoft.XLANGS.BaseTypes.XLANGMessage, but this basetype is not serializable. This then causes a build error. Is there an object type that can capture both XmlDocuments of well formed xml messages as well as malformed xml and non-assembled flat files?
