    I submit a (jsp) form to a Servlet A. Then I handle some logic which would make the submission either a success or a failure. I use jquery's ajaxForm() function to re-direct the user to a different jsp after the Servlet logic is executed. But before this redirection happens I need to show a javascript notification showing whether the submission was successful or not. Can someone tell me how can I do this?

    Hi, I'm using the will paginate gem from http://github.com/mislav/will_paginate Routes: map.resources :post do |post| post.resources :comments end Post Controller: @post = Post.first @comments = @post.comments.paginate :page => params[:page], :per_page => 10 My problem lies in the view: <%= will_paginate @comments %> This generates links like /post/1?page=1 What I need is /post/1/comments?page=1 Is there a way to just tell will_paginate what url helper to use? (like post_comments_path) Any ideas?

  • BackgroundWorker Thread in IIS7 - FAIL!

    Just wondering if anyone has had any trouble using a BackgroundWorker Thread in a site running under IIS 7 in Integrated Pipeline mode? I am trying to use such a beast to update the database schema (admin function, obviously), and it works perfectly in Cassini, but when I deploy to IIS 7, the thread gets about one line of code in and silently ends. Is there a way to tell why a thread ended? Thanks in advance.

    Type mismatch. Expecting a LexBuffer but given a LexBuffer The type 'char' does not match the type 'byte' This is the error message that I am getting while using fslex. I have tried manually checking every single occurrence of lexbuf and its type. It's LexBuffer everywhere. But still the compiler is giving me the above error.     Hi, I have a xml document which has only one element in the document, which is <error>error string<error> But when i try to parse it, it says this document has no element at all. In other words when i try to access the rootElement it says "null" CXMLDocument *rssParser = [[[CXMLDocument alloc] initWithContentsOfURL:url options:0 error:nil] autorelease]; NSLog(@"Root: %@",[[rssParser rootElement] name]); Please tell me what is wroing with this.
