  • Pulling changes between two separate Mercurial repositories

    I have two versions of a product and am using separate Hg repositories for each. I have made a change to one (v1.0) and I want to pull just that change into the v2.0 repository. How do I go about this? As far as I can tell, using hg pull -f -r xxxxx \\server\hg\v1.0 will pull in all changes up to the specified revision which isn't what I want. Is this possible or will I have to add the fix by hand?

    Good day! Despite the fact LINQ2SQL and ADO.NET Entity Framework exists there were situations when I need to revert to plain old DataSet (not typed) and friends. While writing SQL for SqlCommand: Is it needed to quote field and table names with []? Is it good to prefix table names with [dbo] I use to use this syntax: SqlCommand command = new SqlCommand("SELECT [Field1], [Field2] FROM [dbo].[TableName]", connection); May be there is a better way?   • Redirect visitor with .htaccess

    Hi all, I've got an e-shop on a virtual server that's been used as a subdirectory for the last few years, but now I'm finally giving the VS it's own domain name. What I really need is visitors to the old URL to be transparently (and 301) redirected to the new URL with everything after /eshop/ maintained and apended to the new host. I.e. http://www.example.com/eshop/page.php - http://www.newdomain.com/page.php Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • iPhone OS SDK: Possible to download SDK 3.0 w/o Xcode?

    I recently downloaded the iPhone SDK 4 along with Xcode and neglected to install 3.0 and 3.1. I've since deleted the install package. I of course can re-download the whole package, but for future reference, I wonder if you are able to download individual SDK versions separately and independent of Xcode, like you would with almost any open source package.

    Hi guys, Im just trying to attach a collection from another tfs server(both 2010), but this collection was not detached before restoring on to the new server. Now the problem is that when i try to attach the collection it return an error saying the collection was not detached properly.Make things worse, the old tfs server has been removed completely. However are there any new frameworks on the horizon and/or new versions of other frameworks that a web developer should have their eyes on? I heard about the Stripes framework, but it seems as though development has stopped. It also seems grails has a new release coming out as well which that looks like it is just an update to support the new features in the latest groovy release.

One page inherits from a library CKFinder.Connector.Connector. In the old days my aspx would just inherit="CKFinder.Connector.Connector", but how is this done in MVC.NET? Is Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage<CKFinder.Connector.Connector>" the same?

  • 404 error for pages using a master page in IIS7

    Hello, I have developed my .net web app on XP using IIS6. It uses just plain old master pages, nothing fancy. No nested master page. When I deployed it to the server, which is IIS7, suddenly any page that implements a master page, will not be rendered. Gives a 404 error instead. Any ideas, about confguration that I need to specify in IIS7 that is not in IIS6? Thanks

  • Geben for emacs on Ubuntu 10.04

    I've had geben running perfectly on previous versions of Ubuntu. After the upgrade, and installing the latest version of geben (0.26), it only half works. Specifically, when in context mode, local variables are always marked as undefined. Has anybody successfully gotten geben up and running under Ubuntu 10.04, or is this a bug in geben (I've reported it as one, but thought I'd check here just in case there is a workaround). geben 0.26 xdebug 2.0.5 emacs 23.1.1 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.1 Thanks!
