  • JQuery throwing 404 in a wordpress installation

    Everything was working fine until a while ago. I remember I upgraded my theme to a newer version, and also upgraded wordpress to 2.9.1.   • How to use AIM to communicate with a Google Talk user?

    How do I allow someone that uses the AIM desktop client to chat with someone else using the Google Talk desktop client? Both systems are Windows XP. The trick is that I don't want to have them have to change clients. Long ago I used Trillian... then Pidgin and now Meebo. But these are not solutions to the question. Also note that the Google client is not the web gadget.

  • Microsoft signed drivers appears as publisher not verfied

    Task at hand: Microsoft sign drivers on Win 7. I microsoft signed my driver package 3 times every time thinking I might have missed a step or something. However, I cannot seem to get rid of the Windows Security error message "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software'. This is not the first time I have signed the driver packages. I was successfully able to sign other driver packages a few months ago. However, with this driver package I keep getting Windows security dialog box. Here's the procedure I follow - Create a new cat file using INF2CAT tool. Self sign the driver using a Versign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5.cer. Run the microsoft tests on DTM Servers and clients with the devices that use this driver. Create WLK submission package. Self sign the cab file. Submit the package for certification. The catalog file that comes back after successfully passing tests says Name of signer "Microsoft Windows Hardware Comptibility Publisher". When I check the validity of signature using SignTool, it says the signature is vaild. However, when I try to install the driver with new signed catalog file the windows complain. Any ideas? Edit 11/12/2012: Reply to Eugene's comment Thanks for the help, Eugene. Yes. I did sign two other driver packages before. One of them was modified version of WinUSB driver. I am using the same certificate I used when I signed those two driver packages a few months ago. It costs $250 per signing from Microsoft. I would think that Microsoft would complain about it during certification if the certificate is wrong. I use the following command to self sign the CAT file.   • kerio load balance

    I use kerio winroute 6.5 , for week ago, i got a second adsl link (2 mbps), i tried to configue the load balancing in kerio , but always , kerio directs the traffic to one route without the other , i enabled NAT for firewall and change the rate between 2 links but always kerio takes the system route to one link , is there a solution for that ?

  • Setting up a WPA-PSK network card to connect to a WPA2 network

    I'm currently doing a spare-parts build to put a media computer in the living room, and having a devil of a time getting my Rosewill RNX-6300 wireless card to connect to my network. I'm trying to set it up using Windows as opposed to the proprietary Rosewill software -- the Rosewill software is a little over my head. It can find the network fine, but when I try to connect, I don't get the password prompt -- it moves straight to "validating identity," scans, and then says "Windows was not able to find a certificate to log you on to the wireless network Foo." The maddening thing is that the card was working fine a week ago, in the same box, using the same OS. I pulled everything out, swapped out the motherboard, and reinstalled Windows on a freshly wiped hard drive, and now I can't get it up and running again. Suggestions? I've taken several runs at it, including attempting to manually change the settings for the network to include WPA-PSK and AES and the password, and I'm a bit worried that I've totally boned everything. My router settings: ipconfig/all results from the XP box: Again, this card was working on this network a week ago. I can't figure out why I can't get it up and running now. There's no WPA2 on the card, just WPA and WPA-PSK: WPA-PSK was the only setting that would let me enter a network key. I had TKIP and AES as options there, but cipher type is AES on the router, so I chose that. (I tried TKIP later, when this didn't work, with the same results as described below.) So I set it to WPA-PSK / AES and entered my security key. It's mixed letters and numbers, 32 characters long. No joy. Still "waiting for reply" in the main screen, and "cannot find certificate" on the pop-up. And if I try again and return to the settings again, it is reset to Open/AES. It also re-enables 802.1x in the Authentication tab if I've deselected it with WPA-PSK. It also reshortens the password. I have no idea how I blundered into getting this working in the past. I am, as you can tell, far from proficient at this. It was working before, though. What am I getting wrong?

    Short time ago plugins stopped working in chromium. Neither of kpartsplugin, mozplugger nor flashplayer-nonfree seem to work. Neither comes up in chrome://plugins page (only "Chromoting Viewer" does). Was there recently any change that would require reconfiguration? And if, of what? I have Debian Testing (Jessie) amd64, recently updated, with chromium 35.0.1916.114-2, flashplugin-nonfree 1:3.4, kpartsplugin 20120605-1 and mozplugger 1.14.5-2.

    I am trying to get postfix working, and when I test it using mail user I enter the subject, message, ect and get the following error: mail: /usr/sbin/sendmail: No such file or directory Can't send mail: sendmail process failed Why is it talking about sendmail? I deleted that a long time ago and am using postfix. Is it still hanging around somewhere and the mail command thinks it should be using sendmail?

  • How to diagnose Internal Server error on Lighttpd?

    I have Lighttpd on Centos 5 with Fcgi and Memcached. Periodically, once per week or two i get internal server error 500 and i must manually restart lighttpd to get it to work again. In my lighttpd config I've defined error log file: server.errorlog = "/home/lxadmin/httpd/lighttpd/error.log" But when I open it, it has no rows for last days, only one month ago. So my question is how to diagnose what is the issue and how to enable error log for my configuration?

  • Linux: using find to locate files older than <date>

    find has good support for finding files the more modified less than X days ago, but how can I use find to locate all files modified after a certain date? I can't find anything in the find man page to do this, only to compare against another files time or to check for differences between created time and now. Is making a file with the desired time and comparing against that the only way to do this?
