  I am adding functionality to an ASP.Net webforms application and we've decided that new development will be done MVC with a view to move all functionality over eventually. Obviously, MVC and WebForms play together rather nicely when it comes to accessing an MVC action via a URL. However, I'd like to display the MVC view within an existing tab (telerik) control on a WebForm page. This view will be using js/css file so that will need to be considered also.

  I have a sortable list (of tasks). It helps prioritize tasks, so I want to keep this functionality. Now I want to add subtasks to the functionality: I want to enable users to drag one task over to another task and drop it there to turn it into a subtask. Applying .draggable() and .droppable() to items that are already sortable has no effect. What could I do?

  Hello, I need to open photo library from my iPhone app just like standard iPhone Camera application does. Is it possible? I don't want picking-style interface of UIImagePickerController - it has unnecessary controls like "Use" and "Cancel" buttons and does not have full photo library viewing functionality - zooming and sliding between photos etc. My goal is to navigate user to the photo library for viewing photos (with full functionality of viewing photos) and - when user has finished - return to my app - just like standard Camera application does when you preview last-taken photos.

  Hi , i am doing one small application , wheich have login functionality, in the user table am maintaining the AVAILABLE status for the logged USER, example : i have three user called foo1,foo2,foo3 , When foo1 logged then his AVAILABLE STATUS WILL UPDATE AS 1 IN THE USERTABLE, if he logged out then his AVAILABLE STATUS goes to 0, like the foo2, and foo3 , for this available status flasg , amsimply using the update operation ..no other big functionality , Now What i want is, If somthing happened when user logged in , then i want to make the available status as 0, Somthing means , I WANT TO CHANGE THE AVAILABLE STATUS TO 0 , WHEN system CRASH OR browser crash Thanks Bharanikumar

  In Netbeans or in Eclipse, you can use "Find Usages" or "References" from the right click context menu. If a() calls b(), using the functionality from b() will show you a(). However, what I want is to be able to see some kind of tree or have an option to see all usages of a given/class or method, such that if z() calls a() that using the functionality will show both z() and a(). Any IDE plugins or external tools that can do this?

After successfully testing the Datamodule in the Win32 application environment I am trying to hook the Datamodule into a Service Application template that I created, I can get nowhere in getting it to run. This article states that 73% of websites they tested rely on JavaScript for important functionality, but it seems to me that the number must be larger. Have any surveys been done on this topic? Maybe a better way to phrase this question is - are there any sites that don't use JavaScript? EDIT: By 'use', I don't necessarily mean "rely on for important functionality" - that was just the statistic that one article gave.

  CouchDB is great, I like its replication functionality, but it's a bit larger and slower when used in desktop application. As I tested in intel duo core cpu, 12 seconds to load 10000 docs 10 seconds to insert 10000 doc, but need 20 seconds to update view, so total is 30 seconds Is there any No SQL implementation which has the same replication functionality, but the size is very small, and the speed is quite good( 1 second to load 10000 docs). • How Netbeans Editors know that file is not modified after undo?

  Netbeans uses standart UndoManager API for implementation of undo functionality. But neither standart javax.swing.undo.UndoManager nor org.openide.awt.UndoRedo.Manager doesn't have any method to mark states as saved and check modified status. Nonetheless if you change the file and press undo, the file is marked as unmodified. How do they do that? I need the same functionality for my (non-text) editors if the Netbeans RCP application.

  I want to implement the payment gateway like functionality in my iphone application other than In-App Purchase feature provided by Apple. So, i have one Question regarding the application approval on Appstore that, if i will redirect user to the UIwebview for payment related functionality, then apple will reject this application for not following the human interface guideline or it will allow this. • Is it possible to use components derived from TWinControl in a service?

  I am creating a Delphi service. Is there any way to use controls derived from TWinControl within services? Ultimately the control and any controls I place on it will be saved to a bitmap. But anything I try I get "control has no parent window" error. I have successfully created a TBitMap and can accomplish the same functionality. But having all the functionality built into the VCL would greatly simplify the task.
