  • Show the number of messages within a group in Outlook 2010

    In outlook 2010 I am unable to show the number of messages within a particular group. For example, I categorise my messages and then when I sort by category, there is no way to show the number of messages within that(those) category(ies). Previous versions of outlook would do this by default, but I am not finding the setting to do this in Outlook 2010. If it isn't possible, is there anything method to count those messages within a group/category easily?

I am wondering whether there is similar function like "show desktop" (shortcut is Windows Key + D) on Mac to Windows, which will hide all applications and show a clean desktop?     We set the Group Policy for our Domain and OUs to show the logon message: Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\ Interactive logon: Message text for users attempting to log on but nothing happen when the client computer logon. I checked the RSOP.MSC to see the group policy that set and the message is set on client computer but it doesn't show at the logon prompt. so what should I do? We have Windows server 2003 AD and Windows XP Pro on client computer.

  • Windows 7 doesn't show image size for all images

    On Windows 7's new file layout in Explorer. Some PNGs will show the size whereas others won't. I've tried rebooting and clearing the cache, but it doesn't work. Also, all of these images were saved with Paint.NET, so I am sure that the size isn't embeded in the file, and if it is, it appears that Windows doesn't go by it. The ones without sizes are 300x300. Is there a maximum size before it won't show the size anymore?

  • OS X: How to show all files in chooser dialogs

    On OS X 10.5 and 10.6 at least, the command to enable all files in Finder only affects Finder Windows -- the "/File /Open" dialogs on applications still show a limited set of files, ignoring nearly all the Unix stuff. Is there a setting which enables ALL file dialogs of ALL types to show ALL files? I really am a big boy and promise not to harm them! :)

    Hi I try to show the Mail Control Panel item in Windows 2008 R2. I only type the Name "Mail" in to the "Show only specified Contol Panel items Properties" in the Group Policy. In Windows 2008 R2 that doesn't work and theres no item in the Control Panel to configure Outlook 2010 Profiles. I already tried with: Mail and Mail(32-bit).   • "Safely Remove Hardware" icon keeps reverting to "Only show notifications"

    I have the 'Safely Remove Hardware' tray icon set to 'Show icon and notifications' to save a mouse click when removing a USB device but every few weeks the setting reverts to 'Only show notifications'. Does anyone know what causes this and/or how I can prevent it? I'm using Windows 7 SP1 64bit with a fairly bare installation (the machine hosts a set of virtual machines that I use to do my work). Thanks!

    Hi, I have an ACER ASPIRE 5315 laptop. I want use the recovery disk but, the boot manager does not show the CD-ROM bootable option. In the BIOS settings the I set the boot priority to USB CD-ROM first and then the harddrive. But its not working. When I press F12 the boot manager doesnot show the USB CD-ROM device. Please assist.     Not all of my AD Groups are showing in the Audience list. I want to create a new audience based on if the user is in a group. Some AD groups show up, and others don't. Many the newer ones do not show up. My connection is pulling (im pretty sure) the whole AD via primary domain controller. MOS2007 win2003 Any ideas?

    How to get GVim (v. 7.3. on Windows XP, if that matters) to show Unicode characters? Something along the lines of http://vimcasts.org/episodes/show-invisibles/ (search for listchars to see the little triangle I'm trying to get). I'm using set encoding, set fileencoding, and set fileencodings, all to utf-8, if that helps. I know it must be something simple, but nevertheless, here I am, stuck. Help.

  • Open dialog box won't show files in libraries, but explorer will

    I have the weirdest problem when trying to open or save files. When I try to get to "My Documents" through the "Libraries" side link it won't show any of my files. It will show them if I go around from the C:// drive into the user files though. I thought it was because I didn't have the right location defined for the "Libraries" shortcut, but when I use "Explorer" to open my "Libraries" it shows all the files. Any ideas?

  • Is Interop.Domino dll thread safe ?

    Hi , I am using Interop.Domino dll version 1.2 in c# application, and using multithreading to access multiple NSF file at same time by creating new session for each thread created (Max 5 threads at a time). For the large NSF files, I was getting the Notes error like memory segment overflow. To overcome this problem, i used Marshal.ReleaseComObject(object) to release the necessary Notesdocument, and NotesView object where ever possible. Now, the issues is like, i am able to access 2 NSF files but the rest threads are going in dll exceptions as few Notes object are getting null. Kindly provide me some help.... Thanks for help.

  • Unable to get the DspStatus Field in the Task document properties.

    Hi, I am using Interop.Domino.dll API to read the NSF file and able to read the properties of the Task Document. When i view the Task Document properties in the Lotus Notes, i am able to view the Status Field, Importance Field and few others, but when i programatically dump all the Field Names and their values i am unable to get few of them as mentioned above. So, how to get all the Field Names and their values as i iterate through all the document properties. Is this the problem of IBM Lotus Notes Application or the Domino API ? Here is my sample code to iterate the TODO document properties : object[] TaskItems = docTodoDoc.Items as object[]; foreach (NotesItem objItem in TaskItems) { m_objLogFile.Debug(objItem.Name + " - "); m_objLogFile.Debug("Values :: " + ((object[])docTodoDoc.GetItemValue(objItem.Name))[0] as String); } Please help me out to over come this issue as i need to access the status value of the TODO Item from the NSF file.     Hi all, I am creating a Daily Reccurrance pattern in calendar items. But there is a issue as before clicking "save and Send Invitations" button, but in the Document Properties field i am able to view the RepeatForUnit and based on its value i am identifying the Reccurrance type like (D: for daily, W: for Weekly, M: for montlhy etc). But, After clicking on the "save and Send Invitations" button, the Recurrance is getting saved but after that, i am unable to get the RepeatForUnit field in Document Properties. Kindly help me, how to identify the Reccurrance type and the related fields. Note: I am using Domino.dll using C#. Regards, Preeti

  • Instantiate a form, then find it later, without showing it initially

    I am having a problem that is strange to me but hopefully is not so strange to someone else. : ) Some background: I am working on a simple IM client that allows the user to broadcast messages to multiple recipients. The goal is to create a chat form for each of the recipients containing the text of the broadcast message, then show that form only if the recipient responds to the broadcast-er. However, when the application receives a response then attempts to locate the form for that particular chat session (using Application.OpenForms) it cannot find it UNLESS I .Show at the time it is created. I would like to avoid having to show this form when it is created because this means that the user will see a flash on the screen. The form doesn't seem to really be created until I show it, but it would seem there has to be a way to do this without showing first. Can anyone assist? I can provide code snippets if needed, I didn't in this post because this feels more like a conceptual misunderstanding on my part than a bug in the code. Thanks in advance!

  • How to override jquery's show() and hide() functions

    hi all Short version of question: see title Long version of question: I've used jquery's show() and hide() functions extensively in my code and just encountered a bit of a problem: they work by changing the display attribute of the element to 'block' or 'none' respectively, so that if you have somethin that has display: inline and then hide and show it, you've changed its display to block, which screws up the layout in a couple of cases. In my code, whenever i want something to be hidden initially i give it a class 'hidden'. This class is simply {display: none}. I'd like the change show and hide to remove or add this class, instead of directly changing the display attribute, so that if you add the hidden class and then remove it again (ie hide and show something) then it's back to exactly how it was to start off with (since adding a class overrides the attributes rather than directly changing them). Something like this (this is a little pseucodey as i don't know how to set the function up properly - let's assume that 'this' is the object that show/hide was called on) function show(){ this.removeClass("hidden"); } function hide(){ this.addClass("hidden"); } how and where would i go about overriding the jquery methods? (I'm not a javascript expert) thanks - max
