• What are these errors when I try to "make" the driver of my wireless adapter?

  I got got a wireless to usb adapter, and I'm having some trouble to install the drivers on Ubuntu.   In one of the virtual environment while I was trying to add SQL Server Database (.mdf) file to asp.net project I encountered following error: Connections to SQL Server files (.mdf) require SQL Server Express 2005 to function properly. Please verify the installation of the component or download from the URL:  For a long time I am using SQL Server 2012 but this error was a bit interesting to me. I realize that there should not be any need of the SQL Server 2005 installation. I quickly figured out that I can remove this error if I do as mentioned below: Open Microsoft Visual Studio Select Tools >> Options >> Database Tools >> Data Connections Enter the name of an installed instance in “SQL Server Instance Name” field. Click OK If you do not know the instance name, you can follow either of the options. 1) Use the command line sqlcmd utility 2) Using SQL Server Management Studio Is there any other way to resolve this error? • Disabling hardware checking in the start up

  I have a ubuntu (10.04) on my desktop and it doesn't have monitor. I would like to connect the desktop (ubuntu) via teamviewer from my laptop. However, when the PC is powered, pc gives an error about it could not find monitor and it gets stuck in this error and does not continue. Since the ubuntu started correclty, teamviewer doesnt start to work on ubuntu so that I can not connect to the ubuntu. How can I disable hardware/desktop checking at the startup, so that ubuntu would start normally then I can use teamviewer?

• Ubuntu dual boot OS crashed my computer. Now my computer won't boot. Please Help

  I've just tried to install ubuntu 12.04 dual boot OS with Windows 7 and it finished installing in ubuntu. However, it said that the bootloader "grub.." failed to install. The same exact problem here I receive the error 'grub-install /dev/sda failed' while attempting to install Ubuntu as the computer's only OS. . When I tried to restart my computer, it went to the hp screen since my computer is a dv6 hp laptop and then it goes into this black screen with no words or any buttons will work. There is just a blinking underscore that seems like it'll allow me to type but makes error sounds when I type. Is this because I possibly partitioned my memory incorrectly? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm very desperate. ANY HELP would be great. Thanks.

  I am working with a Windows XP laptop that whenever it is shutdown will display a warning that the "MediaContextNotificationWindow" is attempting to close, eventually requiring you to force it to close. It does not appear to matter if the laptop is on or off the network, it will still display the message. I have done a little research into the MediaContextNotificationWindow, and it seems like it is either a part of the Windows Media Player or .Net 3.5, though I'm not entirely sure.   So i just recently installed Ubuntu Linux 10.04 on my desktop machine alongside Windows 7, it booted just fine the first few times but after i went into my windows 7 recovery software provided by packard bell( i did this on accident BTW i exited it straight away and made no changes as far as i know) and re-booted i get this screen: error: no such partition grub rescue_ PS: i installed it on a USB stick using the ISO on the official ubuntu website.
